Suggestion: Treppner Study Group?

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I was wondering if there would be an interest to work through the free Treppner course together as a study group, perhaps beginning in January.

Please post here if you’re interested 🙂

I would be in for this as well, I think I last studied it in about 2013 😀

Not sure of how much time I have with just returning to work but keep me in the loop and I will see.  If you have a clue as to what sort of time commitment is needed per week or such that would be a big help in me figuring that out. Thanks!

While i have only a superficial idea about this study, based on what i read on AT, I am definitely intrigued. Please keep me in the loop while i do a bit more research into this

Wow - great to see there is so much interest!! 😁

I am essentially a Lenormand newbie so I’m excited to see this.

One way I thought could work is having a separate thread for each part of the course, with all of the links kept together in a central pinned thread. I’m sure the mods can help us out with organising that.

As far as time goes - I thought perhaps we could try working through Part 1 together throughout January and see how we get on. It’s 21 pages long, so less than one page of reading per day over the month.

Just butting in for a moment here, Treppner is already burned into my brain. 😉
PDF 1 is padded out with an introduction, course outline, and short bio of Mlle. Lenormand. And there's a bits that may require a grain of salt, like "the room must be chutter free" (ideal, but not always feasible! The cards will still work.) It's only on page 10 that the actual study material starts: the two GT's, communication cards, people cards, etc....so that one is really only 11 pages. If people are feeling ambitious, it could even be bundled with PDF 2. Or just take it slow and let the first module be a time for people to test the waters.

Agree with you @katrinkastarted reading Treppner before I got Andy’s book. There is quite a bit of intro that of course can be left out.

I agree @katrinka, I started working on module one to get a feel for what it is like and found it very light on content at the beginning, good, but light. LOL - free from clutter is ideal but………sometimes life happens 😜

After reviewing and working through the 1st module I don’t think I will need the study group. It is set up very well and straightforward and for me, solitary study will be best. Thanks for making the option available.

Thank you so much, @joy, but I unfortunately likely have too much going on right now to commit.  I have already studied the Treppner course on my own and it is truly fantastic!  I hope to dive even deeper someday.

Great thanks for the feedback @vulprix You might want to keep an eye on it then and help us out if we are stuck 😆

Hi guys! I own some Lenormand decks, but I haven't started using them yet. But this seems to be an excellent opportunity. So, I would like to join 🙂

I am in

This isn't my most motivated time of year but hoping I can keep up with it

Great @KaiNO and @DanielJUK ! We will just easy work through the book together. It is more to keep us motivated, no pressure, no rules really. So more like having fun learning together. That is how I envision it 😉

Hi guys!

I would like to participate as well!

I received the Mirror Truth Lenormand for the Winter Solstice and do not know the first thing about these cards and the system.

Great @Mi-Shell. Just looked at that deck it is very colorful guess just right for the darker winter time 🙂
