I did some readings for friends yesterday in a public place and sadly returned home without the ace of pentacles! What do I do? Does anyone have a good recommendation for buying single replacement cards? Or should I buy a new deck and just replace the one card (and what do I then do with the other deck?). It's a standard rider-waite deck (the one with the tudor rose design on the back), so not expensive to buy another. I want to keep using my one though as I feel very connected to it now.

Any thoughts?

US Games is good about replacing single cards. Just email them and ask for a replacement.  I'm sure they'll be glad to send you one 😀

Be specific about the deck (ie ISBN number).

@lastlight they sell and send stuff to the UK, we are one of their markets and so I would contact them on their website 🙂 I am sure they will send to you over here

We should have one of those lost cards threads here..... But that would need to be open to all - I would be sad to see such a vital thread be for subscribers only.

@gregory they sent a lovely reply back to say they would send me a replacement. I haven't received it yet (and worried it was bad timing so close to christmas holidays!) but fingers crossed 😄 . Love your suggestion of a lost card thread too. That could go in several directions. (Although I'm trying not to read too much meaning in to the disappearance of the ace of pentacles... 🤨😜)

We had such a thread on a previous forum, and many of us had broken decks and were happy to help - here, all trading is subscriber only and I think this thread would probably need not to be - but as Daniel says - it is under discussion.

That's great news.

There is a plan for the future underway, hold on to your incomplete decks for the future 😉

Hooray! 😄  I look forward to the future reveal!

I wanted to add that I have used incomplete decks plenty of times, and they read just fine if you can look past the fact that there is a missing card or two. YMMV 🙂
