What does it mean when you get all negative cards

In a reading please help me understand what that means someone?

Context is everything. Cards are pretty neutral in and of themselves and even cards like Death can play a positive role in a reading. Is the problem that you were hoping for another answer than you got? Or is it that the cards doesn’t seem to make sense based on the known circumstances? 
 

Let’s say it is a reading about love and all the cards stand out as being very negative. Well, I would say that you either formulated the question in an unhelpful way, or that the love prospects simply aren’t very uplifting right now.
 

A typical problem is if the question contains assumptions that turn out to be incorrect. In those cases, the cards won’t be able to give a relevant reply so you might end up with a reading that feels rather nonsensical. Another common issue is if the same question has been asked too many times, in the hopes for a new and better answer. The cards can, in my opinion, start to sour and deliver the message more bluntly, and sometimes it seems that the deck decides to say whatever, because it’s not being listened to anyway.

No I was told I’m not going to live a long life so I try to interpret it and they came out really negative that’s why I got scared maybe because it was on my mind I don’t know that’s why I asked in the first question I didn’t wanna free reading I need to know if it could be possible my kids need me I can’t die maybe when they’re older yes cause I know I’ve done everything I could but right now they’re too little

No reader should ever tell you that you are not going to live a long life, it just causes fear and anxiety.

I have moved this thread to the right tarot discussion area but I fear this is beyond the scope of the forum. We cannot discuss what a reader or a psychic said, because the reading was in confidence between you both and we are not part of that. We also don't allow people to post their readings for help or other opinions that were done by another reader or professional. We only allow people to get help with their own personal readings. I think all negative readings are just as important as all positive readings. We all want to get all the nice positive cards in our readings but tarot tells us what we need to hear, not what we want to hear. Sometimes this can be difficult and tough. I had a very difficult period of my life about ten years ago when I only got negative cards for myself. It was so upsetting but reflected that time in my life and I was very pessimistic about everything. The cards are just a message, whatever the tone of them and I always like to leave people I read for with optimism and hope and options. Sometimes they just reflect our lives at that moment and it won't last, things are always changing.

 

I think to think about the message in the reading. Can you relate to it? Can you change something or work on something to change it? Sometimes it's just a warning but might not come true. If there are readings about the future, we can always change the outcome, we have freewill as humans 🙂 .  It can be a warning or something to change. It's worth doing a reading and asking, what can I do to change from this? or something like that.

No cards are inherently negative. It takes context and a combination.

 

But that a reader told you you wouldn't live a long life suggests to me the kind of reader who will come back and offer to sell you juju to get past that. Scam and then some.

 

When you read for yourself, what question did you ask - that too will colour what answer you get. (and is nit a topic for this thread.)

I agree with what the others have shared here. I also believe negative is subjective. That said, I consider a reading that has cards that indicate a negative message, or an outcome that isn’t what one was looking for,  is an opportunity to review your current situation (energy) and make personal shifts or adjustments, improvements, to get to a better situation. Does that mean someone can make another person love them? Definitely not, but it does mean that the sitter can get to a better emotional place to improve their circumstances regardless of the ultimate outcome.

I would like to add that tarot only works a few years out. It won't predict (if you do predictive readings) end-of-life stuff.

 When I read my cards 4 of swords , 9 of swords , 10 of swords , death , ace of pen and for some That’s not exact order but that’s what came out this is why I’m asking because I was told that as well no reader should ever predict that but ever since she said that now of course 

i’m scared this happened in August near my birthday also I do see spirits I dream of them I have to constantly have protections because they come to me in the worst form so I was working in this bar I also bartend an I kept seeing a man watch me when I came into work , so when my friend passed away I was telling a friend of mine about this guy I kept seeing Tell me how my boys had a picture in them please things started moving in looking at me that’s why I went for this reading to see what was wrong

The picture started turning looking at me that’s what I meant to say I’m sorry so my boss I told her I was about to quit I like the boss but I couldn’t take staying at the bar no more I knew something was there and wanted me to be hurt ,, so she brings in another psychic the woman walks in and tells me right away there’s a black entity in the bar and I did say that to my friend it was right by the wall it always wins by this wall i’m very intuitive I don’t like it though because I’m scared because the spirits won’t help and I don’t know how to help these people or if they follow me home and they start attacking me

I started crying and shaking when the psychic told me she seen what I seen an when she read me she told me no she does not see me dying she said but someone did do something to me

Maybe you're reading about the reader's reading.

 

This reading could be picking up on the unnecessary fear that you're experiencing because of this bad and unscrupulous reader. My advive is to read the cards in context of the situation and not look for a solution in search of a problem.

Yes I read her plenty of times I feel like she read me the first time 2 years ago what she said came out and I told her I didn’t go back untill 2 years later when I was getting attacked by the entity at the bar , what happen was it attached to me … so my questions are like this ( will I grow old to see my grandchildren) or ( will I die soon ) yesterday maybe cause I don’t have a quiet area and my family is always in and out I’m picking up lots of energy’s from everyone so I re read try to calm down and read it again then the cards changed but as I was shuffling the first two times all those cards flew out 2 times and for some reason 10 of pen at the end of both readings so I’m gathering 10 years you will xxx  or you will be ok in then years cause that’s family happiness. Children but when I calmed down of course when I reread I seen 9 of swords (what I had to let go of ) place and 8 of swords in I believe it was  (a challenge ) maybe because I changed religion maybe God is mad cause I do believe in god as well but I lost everything and I kind of hand a break down cause I sss the only one to pick up the peace’s for my kids and I no help  , maybe I’m not shuffling correct maybe it’s too noisy here maybe I’m not charging my cards maybe that’s what it is that’s why I’m here to learn the correct technique and use it for now on
