Libra 58 Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I tried many years ago, in the beginning of my tarot journey to crochet a bag for one of my decks. I choose a gold yarn and I measure exactly how long it should be like, I even made som hole as a pattern in it, as I thought it would look nice. Long story short... When I had finished it, it looked like that I could put 3- 4 tarot decks on top of each other in it and it looked more like long gold stocking than a tarot bag!🤣 Need I say that I never used it?🙄
Croat Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Went down the bag route and didn't really work out for me. From an organizational perspective they were just difficult, flimsy and hard to keep straight on the shelf. Gradually switching over to wooden boxes which are both decorative and sturdy. Most of the boxes so far seem to be made in places like India and Indonesia.
Silverlotus Posted March 16 Posted March 16 The lovely bag I'm sharing here was hand made for me by someone on Aeclectic. I wish I could remember who, but it was a long time ago and my memory isn't what it was. It is sized for an oversized Thoth deck, but I keep my standard Thoth in it instead because I never got around to buying an oversized deck. It lives just to the left of my laptop, so I look at it every day. The outside is super soft leather with beautiful beadwork. The inside is lined with black velvet. I sew my own bags from quilting cotton, so I absolutely appreciate all the work that went into this bag. I really wish I could remember who made it for me, but I hope they know that I still cherish it.
