VISUAL DELIGHTS!  LOVED looking at the pix and I will try to add mine at some point.

I would love a coffee table type book with just all your spaces!

I recently moved, and have had to drastically downsize. This is my space mostly for journaling, meditation (when the weather forces me indoors), and storage/display.

I’ve been confined to a side table in my bedroom, along with that is my current Self Love crystal grid, and a shadow box with some of my favorite crystals organized more or less by Chakra. The shadow box was fun to try to get a good picture of with the mirrored backing.    :D

DecadentDaydreams[/member] what a wonderful space!  The mirror on the shadowbox is a great idea!!  Your crystals really stand out.  ^-^

The familiar is optional.

X-D Such an adorable kitty!!  I used to read on my bed too (no candles though) and loved it but then I acquired so many cats it's no longer possible! 😸

This was in my first abode when I moved to the Midwest (but the owners sold the house and hence my attic!).  I was doing reading as the Crone in the Attic then, if you were AT maybe you remember that.

Loved this reading space and it had an interesting vibe and odd things would happen in this space (from the first week I moved there before I set it up as my reading space, but that's another tale for another thread).

I added a pic of the door going into my attic (the ORIG door from the 1890's) with the sign someone gave me.  Can anyone read it?  :)  AND those are the LAST of three sets of stairs (BIG TALL house) going up into my space.

Now I live in a lovely condo-like apartment with all the amenties that was built about 8 years ago.  LOVELY, but not the great vibe of that attic!

Forget the ghosts Beware of me?

What a awesome place to work!  Attics are fun.

A friend of mine was talking about perhaps putting up one of those signs that says that you have an alarm system or a surveillance camera, to keep burglars away (as an empty threat). And I was like - ‘That’s not necessary, just decorate with some badass witchy looking stuff and no one will dare to target your place!’. And then my friend says “I’m sure your right, but that would probably also scare everyone else away too”. Haha! So true. Forgot about that little aspect of it  :))

AHAHAHH but RAGGYDOLL...like the sign says, Beware of Me!

I think I already made people take pause as a salt and pepper haired Crone who wears black jeans, black turtlenecks, black boots and long scarves in a small Midwest town.  X-D

Hence my friend getting the sign....I already ...stood out...

Hi Garrett and welcome!  You can show your gallery in stages!  I look back on the images I have posted here and my own space has grown but it's fun to look back and see how it used to be before I got even more decks!!  :blol:

I tried to have a little fun with mine. :)

I was just thinking that using this scarf as a spread cloth with my Slow Holler deck makes alllll the difference in my enjoyment of the deck!

Also I realized I didn't actually show much of my space, so here are a few more pics. My "altar" is just good old-fashioned IKEA ;D

My tarot stand isn't impressive, but i have several decks in some of those boxes. I'm always afraid I'm going to overload it and my pretty rod-iron garden shelf is going to collapse off the wall onto the radiator  :))

I could snoop around in your room all day looking at all the items you have about!  All the books!  Pictures on the wall and that lovely large wooden box!  And your plant is lovely!!  Thank you for sharing bookshop!  <3

Raggydoll[/member] thanks! It's your average NYC apartment so I've of course mastered the art of cramming everything into as contained a space as possible, haha.

Saturn Celeste[/member] thank you! The pics came out a bit low-res for some reason but if you can't make them out, the pictures on the wall are actually a washi-taped string of art prints by my pal Julie Dillon, who's the artist behind the much-anticipated Mermaid Tarot! The wooden box is the box I decided to use to house my persnickety Slow Holler deck, so that's why it's out and about. And the plant is a very hardy spider plant that's survived many years of half-hearted care, five apartment moves, and one cat that thankfully failed to achieve its goal of chewing all the leaves off!

I LOVE returning to this thread!  It is so lovely to just browse through all your wondrous spaces.

These images would make a GREAT Coffee Table book!  LARGE colored pages to flip through.

bookshop[/member] This beautiful card setup would last about 10 minutes in my home until my cat realizes I've put something on the table for her to both knock over and take a nap on. It never fails. For some reason my studio/work-area is not considered fair-game if I run my cards there. I think it helps I built it to be a really long+deep worktop and she gets to take one end of it for herself, so we've compromised... :D

I made a Tarot-only area, but right now it's covered in books+papers until I finish up my storage so I can put that pile away. I have a big mirror setup over the top of it with a "leafy" frame and it has a very cute laptop desk and an artist' chair. It hasn't gotten much use yet.

I'll take a picture when it is finished. But for now, my tarot area is my desk...

Miho[/member] i definitely have the benefit of a cat-free space (though i am perpetually sad about the lack of cats!), that's for sure. But I also kind of planned for the wealth of horizontal surfaces, so i like to think that a cat would have lots of room to sprawl. Maybe!

I'm excited to see your space!
