A unique version of Reading Circle for those who would like to work through their collection of decks, participants choose decks from their collections to work with for the week. Some use one deck, others use two or more. Some combine methods: Tarot, non-tarot (e.g. oracle), playing cards, or any other divinatory method is welcome. All we ask is that you use at least one tarot or oracle deck.

No collection is too large or too small. The only rules we have are the Tarot, Tea & Me Rules; Be respectful of one other. Please join us!

  • Please post with your choice of deck(s) for the week
  • Chat away about your deck, how you're finding it (or not), etc., it's all up to you
  • Participants may either choose to share their readings here in this discussion thread or opt to have their own journal in the Journals Forum and link it here
  • Yet others may even have an offline journal in paper & pencil/pen form

Share as often, as much, or as little as you like. You can drop in and out at anytime—reality and life permitting. New to tarot? Long time reader? Come on in!

Thank you Fire cat! I'm in this week with the Anima Mundi Tarot paired with the Nature's Pharmacy Deck.

Anima Mundi Tarot, Hanged Man; Nature's Pharmacy Deck, Common Sage

When you’re full of beans, you just blow a lot of hot air.
—Amy Tan

Roombas often react saner than humans; when they hit a wall, they turn around and go in another direction. We tend to find ourselves giving the same advice over and over or forcefully trying redirect a situation in the way we think it should go. It's frustrating to realize we have no control, but there is freedom and peace found in letting people and things be. Common Sage has been considered one of the top essential culinary herbs for generations. It is also a digestive aid, relieving gas and bloating. There have even been studies to add this herb to cattle food in an effort to reduce methane (a greenhouse gas). Sage asks us to reconsider if our 'help' is tinged with a hint of moral superiority, filled with platitudes, or if it is simply a strategy to arrange things in a way that would benefit us. Others can generally tell if we're sincere or full of beans.

Hi, all!  This week I’ll be test-driving The Cinderella Deck, recommended in my fairy tale deck thread by @katrinka.  It’s 29 poker-sized cards made from illustrations of a Cinderella storybook from 1921.  Since we all know the story, it should be easy to relate the episodes of the story to the situation we’re reading for.  The creator has provided a pdf lwb with ideas for each card just in case.  I’m not sure if it will work best with spreads or more with lenormand lines . . . Let’s give it a try with a shortened interview first.

What is your strength?  The page brings the invitation to the ball
The deck is an invitation to a truly different reading experience.

Your weakness?  Despair
The deck has quite a few negative cards considering how few cards in total.

What can you teach me?  Stepsisters primp
The deck can give me an accurate reflection of myself and my issues, even if it’s not flattering.

What will be the outcome of our work together?  Fairy godmother’s final appearance
When the week is over, the deck will continue to have a fun positive influence on me.

Hi @fire cat pickles

Please sign me up with the Joker Tarot. It's new, and I'm really surprised how much I like it.

Welcome back @Madame Squee 🙂 How long has it been?

The DoW Group is a fun and enlightening way to share how your decks can work for others, to highlight new or unique reading techniques and spreads, and perhaps to introduce new decks for other members.
