Some use one deck, others use two or more. Some combine methods: Tarot, non-tarot (e.g. oracle), playing cards, or any other divinatory method is welcome. All we ask is that you use at least one tarot or oracle deck. No collection is too large or too small. The only rules we have are the Tarot, Tea & Me Rules; Be respectful of one other. Please join us! Libra 58 Posted March 9 Posted March 9 I´m in with Hanson Roberts Tarot. Monday card: Ten of Wands. A man is struggeling with a heavy load of wands, but he can see the end of the journey. I feel my own struggle with hard and sad feelings today. Some ones birthday today, but long time gone away from us. So hard to let go of this feelings and try to move on with new objects.

There is a continuum of thought and behavior, from one extreme to another, and sitting at either end for very long can quickly unbalance those scales. There are times when an extreme may be necessary, but we aren't meant to stay there. If we do, we begin to view life from a skewed perspective. Zinnia is an easy-to-grow, sun loving flower that bees and butterflies love. Available in a range of bright colors, it is a cheery addition in the garden. Zinnia represents warmth, beauty and joy; if we've been without any of these for too long, our attitude and outlook will end up on one imbalanced end or the other. Rachelcat Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Hi all! Yesterday was A DAY! But all is well now, so I'm here! This week will be The Archeo Personal Archetype Cards. I have resisted this deck for a while because I think the concept of archetypes is nonsense. It seems evident that the experiences of an early-20th-century upper-middle-class European male (Carl Jung) are not universal. But of course I was intrigued by the artwork. And, hey, it says “personal”! And it has an alchemist card (and a few other alchemical illustration-based cards). AND I was lured in by the Llewellyn tarot sale! So I’m going to give the deck a try and see what I can do with it while studiously ignoring the word archetype. 40 cards plus 2 blank cards that can be used to personalize it. Interview time! What is your most important characteristic? Starclimber It’s a deck that encourages positive creative thought. It helps the reader think way out of the box with a positive outlook. What is your strength? Mooncat Its oddness and mystery inspire imagination. Your weakness? Arbiter Meta: But some cards are too much like tarot or known symbols, limiting the inspirational effect of the other cards. An imaginative deck like this shouldn’t make value judgments on ideas. What can you teach me? Anima/animus The alchemical sun and moon androgyne, chemical wedding, here are separated into their masculine and feminine bodies. The deck can teach me more about gender issues and maybe overcome or transmute pointlessly gendered images. How can I learn it? Duende Had to look this one up. It’s a Spanish word that basically means minor supernatural beings, like fairies, nymphs, sprites, etc. I can learn about gender issues by observing all the strange entities in the deck. Like these: a dryad and a scary bird-person. What are their genders? Why? Is gender an inherent part of their makeup or just a function of tradition or illustration. What will be the outcome of our work together? Inventor I will be making up meanings instead of going by the artist’s intention. As pointed out throughout this reading. And the lesson: Why is an inventor and old man? Young men and young and old women can also be inventors! So it looks like this deck is going to have a lot to tell me!

Libra 58 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Wednesday card. The Hierophant. A wise man tells me that I already know what to do, I have all the knowledges. I argue and say: "that I don´t! If you not are going to help me, then I don´t want to see you in my tarot deck again"!😉 Thursday card: 9 of Wands. Once again there is some kind of battle that I have to prepare for. Maybe going out shooping food or stay in. I get so much extra pain in my legs when I go out and "exercise" and it´s going to rain tomorrow also.... I have to think and battle with my options.🤔
Libra 58 Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Friday card: 5 of Swords. A hard day, this time I was one of the defeated on the card. I tried but failed completely. I have to try better next time. Saturday card: The Magician. I should have all the knowledge by now but he´s distracting me with his bare chest and I don´t know if he´s doing it on purpose so I shall forget what I know or to hide the fact that I don´t know at all what I think I know. Does it make any sense?
Libra 58 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Sunday card: Page in Wands. A young boy is calling out for some attention. Maybe he have found something that he wants to share with other people? I feel more to the opposite, be quiet and don´t tell everybody, not yet anyway. Don´t know what he wants me to talk about any way.
