Morsoth Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 It was pretty quick for me (Canada). I ended up with two full decks (but only one kit), so I can't complaint. First I only received a deck, with a missing card (the Hermit, my favorite card) so I mailed them to get the missing card. Then, I asked why I only got a shrink wrapped deck, and not the full boxset with the book, wax seal, coin, etc. They told me that it was a mistake and they sent me a full box, with no need to resend the deck that I previously got. So, I received the card in an envelope around 1 week after, quickly followed by the boxset with all the bells & whistles, and a complete deck! I wish you all that it gets resolved soon. Maybe it's best to wait and get something better at the end, but I know how impatient I was to get my complete deck. Keep emailing them!

It is magnificent, even more so since I'm used to the regular mass produced LS decks and the very sumptuousness of the product took me by surprise. And I did get my 3 extra triumphs and all my knights and pages... except that I got a duplicate male Page of Coins instead of a male Page of Wands. I wrote Arianna and sent her pictures, so I guess they'll send me a replacement page. My Fool also shows some scratches or dents, but I can live with that. The cards have a funky, plasticky smell, not necessarily unpleasant, but distinctly noticeable. I expect it will dissipate in a few days. On the positive side, I was upgraded to the Kickstarter full set. It's a VERY HEAVY, VERY BEAUTIFUL box, with raised details and shiny gold highlights. I'm so impressed, I can hardly believe my eyes. They really went all out with this! I'm sorry they encountered so many bumps in the road, but the Modrone has turned out well worth all the wait and aggravation. ETA: Arianna (who has been an absolute angel in many regards, including the fact that I kept calling her Adriana) responded quickly, as she always does. They are sending me both cards by mail. Morsoth Posted January 8, 2020 Posted January 8, 2020 For those that missed on that release, Lo Scarabeo will re-release it as part of their "Museum Quality" line. However, the quality might not be the same, like the Sola Busca... The first edition of the Sola Busca was better than the "Museum Quality" version. Time will tell:

But a week or two ago, a beautiful envelope bearing the Lo Scarabeo emblem arrived from Turin, bearing my missing male Page of Swords, a new and perfect Fool, and a bonus female Page of Swords. So my Modrone is, finally and beautifully, complete.
