We do want it to be members, though. I for one don't want it to end up like that collaborative elsewhere that moved steadily from the forum where it started towards FB and is no longer a forum effort at all

Yes, that is a very good point. Also, we don't want any new members that jump in without reading the instructions or knowing the context. But in order for someone to participate they will have to be members, no one can sign up outside of the forum.

yes, my nosy side is quite intrigued

I think it would be a bit off to tell the whole tale here, but suffice it to say that there is a forum where for several years we did a collaborative deck every year. Then the organiser - who has, I must say, always done a sterling job - started to solicit contributions on facebook; then  most of the updates started to happen there, and on forum there was some confusion among those of us who do not use FB - and it has now changed its name and gone over there entirely. Which is fine - except that the last one we DID do has yet to be printed - it is having to wait while she finishes the current FB one - where she has - I am told - already started another,

 

I just want a copy of the one I last contributed to.

I see.. not great! That won't happen here though, rest assured. The best thing about forum collaborations is just that - having a deck made by your forum family!

You weren't in the one that is sitting out there unprinted. I shall re-use the cards I did for it soon....

@gregory It does, I recommend that we don't plagiarize text at all.  Not only can that fall under legal trouble, it's also not authentic to your understanding of the card you are depicting. 🙂 (this is in general for everyone)
