Sometimes these energies are referred to as "red" and "blue" energies rather than "masculine" and "feminine", so as not to make people think that only men have one and women have the other. Having said that, my card is finished and . now needs cropping to the right size (getting help with that). When I'm up to it I'm going to go through the wip thread and check out everyone's work, haven't really had a chance to do so. OK going to try another shot, the one I thought I had isn't there haha.

It seems a few people have experienced loss these last few weeks, and taking care of ourselves does come first, but it's greatly appreciated I'm sure and really wonderful that you took yourself to task on this project. Hope this doesn't feel inappropriate, I didn't want to double post. I've completed the figure sketch for the 5 of Fire~

Is it supposed to ? Definitely not! My art often uses nude imagery, and sometimes sexual imagery, but these two cards are not anywhere close to attempting sexual titillation. This card especially has no sexual connotation. Nudity doesn't equate to sex, and for this card the figure had to be naked to show the split body parts distinctly. I'll show this update of my process on the colours so you can see what I mean

The Five of Wands to me is a card less about conflict between people (although that can be a result/side effect) but more about conflict between what the internal wants/thinks/feels, and what the external reality really is. Sometimes this external reality is what others want/think/feel, and sometimes it's greater than the individual. Either way, there is a breakdown here between the internal and the external, the reality of ourselves and the reality of the world, and we struggle in the conflict of it. That feeling is what brought me to draw the figure in the card this way.
