gregory Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 (edited) I like the dreamcatcher. So hit me. It's a very moon sort of thing and isn't being used with any disrespect. I also like the POP colouring ! Edited April 28, 2020 by gregory

MoonCoach Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 (edited) Thank you for your feedback...I tried posting an update, but it disappeared. I'm really trying hard to figure out how to work my way around the forum. I'll try to remember what I wrote a bit ago. First, thanks for the tips! I've updated the card's background, which I think I like better. Hopefully, it's not too strong but I actually love the way it pops. I prefer the version where the Flower of Life is accentuating the Moon. I shifted some of the items so it doesn't get cut off. I played around with the idea of having a soft glowing 'mirror' image as a reflection (of the Womb on the water), but I don't think I've captured the concept well enough, given I'm not an graphic Artist...so I think I'll leave that off, however, I'll share it with you on the updated page here: https://mooncoach.wixsite.com/moon-coaching-org/key-18-the-moon-tarot (refresh it if you've seen it before to get the 2 new images) @Raggydoll Thank you for that link with details. I'll remove the signature before sending you the final. I'm going thru the forum, and loving the great company I'm in 🙂 So much beauty in all the cards!! Edited April 28, 2020 by MoonCoach
Little Fang Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 @MoonCoach Now that you have over 5 posts, you should be able to attach images now. 🙂 It's right below the text box.
joy Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 @Pen beautiful!!! Fantastic, your horses look so full of energy! ❤️

This is so true! It looks gorgeous @Pen. I love that perspective! @MoonCoach They're lovely! I like the first one with the bigger dreamcatcher the best and the third one in the second row. joy Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 @MoonCoach definitely prefer the one with the blue background 🙂
Perenelle Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 14 hours ago, Raggydoll said: I have replied to your email Perenelle but like Geoxena said, we can't use this image. None of the images you have provided have been 300DPI and that is the minimum requirement from Printerstudio. I have tried uploading images with lower resolution but they stand out among the others as being out of focus, so I understand why Printerstudio have that rule. It just would not print well. So this rule goes for everyone - please do not send in contributions that are less than 300DPI. Especially not now that we are so close to deadline and there is no wiggle room left for trying to fix things. I'm shocked! When the photos were taken I just assumed they were 300dpi! We can and will correct this problem. We'll send in an image later today or tomorrow morning. So sorry about the misunderstanding!

The symbolism has a lot of layers too. The top has a lovely blue color but maybe the lower one is easier to read. Maybe next time I contribute to a deck I'll try doing a montage.

A camera shot will not do it.

Perenelle Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 OK so that everyone knows, we're going to my place to scan my image tomorrow.
Perenelle Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 (edited) Although it was my understanding that photos can certainly be taken at that resolution. Actually the resolution has to be taken down...? Anyway gonna scan it. Edited April 28, 2020 by Perenelle
gregory Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 (edited) Not in a form that will easily print. My high end camera takes photos at 72 dpi, but they are enormous, so they can convert as there are so many pixels in the photo itself. Not the case with smaller photos. And there is the matter of angles and lighting. The photo you took and showed here was so dark it was barely visible. Edited April 28, 2020 by gregory

Actually the resolution has to be taken down...? Anyway gonna scan it. Aside from the right resolution we also need an image that is clear and without shading/glare. The first one you sent in was all washed out in color in parts of the drawing due to glare from the camera flash - so I tried upping the contrast but that made the areas that didn’t have glare become very dark. And the low dpi made it grainy no matter what I did. Your second image was taken at an angle, and it was too dark to make out any details and also at a too low dpi. Those that can present me with a camera shot that is the same quality as a scan can try to send me that. But in your case it won’t work because your crayons will glare from the flash. This is something that needs to be worked around with scanner settings. So make sure you actually look at the picture they provide for you and see that it works. Also, it is in the instructions that every contribution needs to be at 300 dpi. So people need to actually check this. Also check the format. After an image is scanned it needs to be resized and cropped so that it is the right format before it is sent in. Please do not send me an image that needs working on. I do not have the time to do anymore tech favors at this point! Below is a link to all the requirements so everyone - go double check before you send in your contribution. Thanks!

People have had PLENTY of time to create and tweak their cards, and most of us can read the requirements (I say most simply because I do know that some here do not have English as a first language, and may have had to ask for translation.) It's far too late to expect to change things - most of the files are already uploaded to the studio. Raggy offered TECHNICAL help, not to rework cards till they fit what is needed. And if I'm for it, Grandma - so be it. Some people here have ABSOLUTELY no idea how much work just getting this stuff uploaded can be. Never mind what it takes to organise and manage a project this size. I think she has been quite amazing.
Pen Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 Oh gregory, I don't think Grandma meant it like that...

But as of now, no more tweaks or revisions of previous cards/write ups will be accepted. Every revision requires time and work from me because I have to switch out the images/text in multiple places (we of course have several back ups and also an online back up in case I get sick and another staff member needs to access it. We take this project very seriously!) So if you feel like you could have done something even better then why not save those perfected files and use them in your own future deck? 👍👍💗

I think Raggydoll has made things very clear all along. Let's all just breathe! Edited April 29, 2020 by geoxena
