    Started by Ibera,

Hello admired Tarot readers!! I've been learning Tarot full-time since August, and I'm totally hooked. It's been fascinating, and it's been a journey. A while back, a fellow learner showed me the book she was using, and it seemed pretty complicated. I thought it wasn't for me, but I guess it just wasn't my time. But this August, I had a lightbulb moment: "It's time to learn!" So, I got my first RWS deck, read a bunch of books, and started with Mastering the Tarot by Eden Gray. Then, WTF is Tarot? by Bakara Wintner, Mastering the Tarot by Paul Fenton-Smith, Tarot Tips by Ruth Ann and Wald Amberstone, and now I'm reading Tarot Reversals by Mary K. Greer. Afte…

  3. Celine
    Started by Celine,

Hello, I'll post here as Celine - I'm not used to forums etc so I hope to get the hang of it soon. I first started looking into Tarot for illustration purposes (personal, not professional) and...discovered a whole new world. So here I am, RWS (and I have promised myself not to buy another deck before being thoroughly comfortable with this one), still reading (though I now struggle to find writers who engage me as much as Rachel Pollack and James Ricklef), journalling like never before. You might already know what's coming : I'm hoping to get to read the cards for other people (like Tarot "buddies", for practice and learning!). In my e…

I’ve started crossover readings using the ghost and spirit tarot deck back in 2012 then stopped. I had a 80% success rate. I would like to start readings again .

    Started by MichelleC,

Greetings, I've read tarot and oracle cards for myself as part of my spiritual practice for many years. Typically, they are one—to three-card spreads. I've recently started a daily two-card morning reading and journal as part of my morning meditation ritual and thought it would be nice to find a forum. I'm happy to find this website as a casual user. Thanks, Michelle

Hello. My name is Heather. I was on ATT for years as Faerylvr and somehow missed this entire forum! I have been reading tarot and oracle for myself and others for 40 years now. I do monthly live readings at a local store who hosts me, at the Day of the Dead Festival, through appts, and I do online readings through IG. I am excited to join and participate.

  7. DeusExLibrus
    Started by DeusExLibrus,

Hi all! I originally got into reading Smith Waite back in high school some twenty odd years ago. I find myself returning to many things I enjoyed in childhood in my thirties including art, poetry, performance magic, and Magic and cartomancy along with other forms of divination. These days my focus has shifted to the Tarot de Marseille and other pip decks, including standard playing cards, though I still have and play with a number of “English” decks, including various Smith Waite and RWS influenced and Thoth decks. Though I’m much more interested in the former than the latter, which I’ve only been reading since earlier this year. My primary method is a blend of Ben-Dov’s …

    Started by Kikiwi,

Hi everyone! I am very new to Tarot, and I look forward to being part of this community to continue learning and practicing. I only started learning Tarot cards 2 weeks ago, so just a newbie. I bought a RWS deck as it seems to be the most recommended for beginners, and just finished reading Rachel Pollack's Seventy-Eight Degrees of Wisdom. I've done a few readings for my family members and myself, even though it still takes me forever to make a cohesive reading out of the cards, I find it a very therapeutic and powerful tool. There is so much more to the cards that I feel like I'm not quite grasping with yet. Any recommendation for how to become a better Tarot…

Hi everyone My name is Rayvyn and I am an avid tarot reader. I post my reads on tiktok and other social media platforms for people to watch (I say they are for other people but really it's the deck throwing things at me that the universe thinks I need that day cause I know there will always be someone out there going thru something like I am so why not share the wealth) I started my journey in 2004 when I picked up a vampire deck from Barnes and Noble and got scared then got back into it almost 22 years later when my mom passed away and I got lost I read the cards to give people advice not to see the future, I do not mess w…

1976: Purchased a Rider Tarot deck because I was into comics and liked the pictures. 2024: Found unused deck in a mildewed box of random odds and sods while having a post-retirement clear-out. Felt inclined to dig a little deeper into the whole Tarot thing. Bought a Thoth deck and guide. Became totally immersed. And now I've only gone and joined a Tarot forum. Wasn't expecting that. Hello everyone.

    Started by xStardustx,

I am Stardust and I've been reading tarot for a few years. I read for myself and close friends. I've read a few books already and am currently reading Holistic Tarot by Benebell Wen. I was briefly active on the tarot reddit forums but it was too light for me. I have a big imagination, an open mind and am always up for in-depth discussion about tarot. I have used RWS, Wild Unknown, Thoth, Hermetic, a few oracle decks and Lenormand. I take a lot of notes in a composition notebook and try to really take notice of the imagery, definition and my own intuition. I am genuinely excited to be here and I look forward to deepening my practice w…

Hello everyone, I've resumed my study of the Tarot after a year caught up with other endeavours. I'm currently reading Seventy-Eight Degrees of Wisdom A Tarot Journey to Self-Awareness By: Rachel Pollack which I highly recommend. Strangely, I feel a stronger pull towards the cards than ever before. It's wonderful to find a global community of companions and mentors. I wish you all a grounded and enriching holiday season and look forward to reading member's posts, readings and insights 🍃

    Started by KeziahS,

I'm Keziah and I'd say that I am a spiritual seeker. I work with herbs and plants to, well, bring about change. I also honor my ancestors through ritual and a remembrance table. I've been studying tarot for about 3 years. My primary deck is the Dream Keepers Tarot. I started off relying heavily on books for the interpretations and I'm trying to relearn reading the cards based on my own intuition. I do a reading for myself most every day, and I've used tarot to help me learn a bit more about my ancestors. I'm delighted I've found this community!!!

Hello! I purchased the Welkin Odyssean Tarot, a hermetic odyssey earlier this year because I absolutely love the artwork and I do love Jung. So this was a sign for me to learn. I don't know how to read the cards so I am hoping I can learn here. Thanks for having me.

I’m here to explore spirituality and share my experiences. Also, for my mental health, I believe that a host relationship with a psychic vampire would be rewarding and beneficial. I am open to being a host for a sanguine, but only under very special circumstances. My spirituality is very experiential and includes all of my senses being open to it. I also have a long history of experiencing friendly signs around me that speak to me. I created a god to serve me, I have some very surprising stories to share about him. I also have had many encounters with various gods and demons. Regarding witchcraft, I have developed my own approach that is very effective. I use creativ…

    Started by Inceyn,

So glad I've stumbled across this site! I've been reading Tarot for about five years, and I'm trying to form a deeper personal connection with the symbolism in the cards. I'm reading about the connection between the tarot and the Qabalic Tree of Life, and I've just started learning about astrology and its connection to tarot. But I’m really excited about learning from the experience and wisdom you all share in these forums!
