The question makes it seem a little bit different than what it is. I have had readings from others and I have done some on myself about a situation that I am currently in. It is a situation that I feel I desperately need and want answers about. What it boils down to is that I have a stalker. I have a counselor, psychiatrist, lawyer, and the cops all involved. So, I am handling it as thoroughly as possible. But, whenever I have came to tarot to understand anything over the last 3 months, the cards always seem to tell me that I just have to sit back and let the story unfold, I am to do nothing but let the universe do what the universe does, I will have answers when the time…

I would appreciate it if others would share their approach to pesky yes/no questions... not good yes/no questions, like "Should I take this job that appeals to me but pays less than my current job?" (I can think of several good ways to tackle that), but banal ones like "Will the Atlanta Braves have a winning season?"

Hi. Haven't been in here in a while. Anyway, there's this beginner's book I had maybe around 25 years ago that was really cool. It had neat spreads (Celtic Cross, something with a tree, a category spread, a year spread and I think a month spread). It had 25 categories or so (things like: love, career, etc. ) and after you would lay out your cards, you could read the meaning of each card by the proper category. It also told you stuff like what astrological sign a card was associated with and what season. Soooo..... I was hoping someone in here knew the title. I haven't seen it since.

Hi. I am new here. I have known about and sparingly had my tarot cards read for me maybe 10 times total over the course of a year and a half. Then I finally bought my own deck, which sat there and I did not hardly use due to lack of knowledge for at least 6 months. I recently realized, a few days ago, that I could ask it yes or no questions and understand the answers by googling the cards. I have an important story to ask. Over the last few days I've been asking it A LOT of questions as I am naturally an extremely inquisitive person, and also have a very specialized knowledge about the truth of this realm. I have been asking it questions I can only …

Hello everyone! I am new to the forums and a beginner in tarot reading. While there are a lot of resources on how to read specific tarot cards, what bugs me the most is: how can I work with my own intuition? I am not an intuitive person. So when i do readings either my mind (what I know makes sense) or my heart (what I would like it to be) get in the way. Is there any advice on how to identify the voice of your intuition and give it more space? Thanks everybody!

Hey! Me again! New guy and a chatty Cathy! As mentioned in another thread, I am at the place where I want to start reading for others (heretofore I have been studing and doing self-directed readings). I have a question... When you read "in the wild" (not just for friends & family), what are the most common questions you get? Which ones are toughest? Are there any where you say, "Sorry, I don't go there"? (I guess that's three questions.)

I’ve been laying out my cards and my other stuff (candle, crystals, smudging shell) on the silk scarf I keep my deck wrapped in, but for a variety of reasons this isn’t very practical (the silk is slidery and slickery; I have to assemble/disassemble everything every time). I’ve decided I need to outfit the Cosmic Command Post with an actual reading mat. Ideally I’d like something that has some warmth and a relatively organic feel. Oh, and my desk in the Cosmic Command Post is only 20” deep… it would either need to be something not-that-deep, or something that can drape over the edges. Any recommendations?

Is it still an active association? Is it total rubbish? I glanced at their Free Readings Network and Free Tarot Network,, and the pages look like web pages I made back in the early 90s. Is anyone a member here?

So... I've been dabbling with tarot for a while (several years), but now (and for the last month) I'm really into it. I love it. It is my passion. But, heretofore, I have only read for myself. I think I am now at a point where I can -- and where I kind of *need* to -- start reading for others. But, I'm scared. Seems like such a big jump, and what if I screw it up? Or if nothing happens? I would really appreciate any advice about making the jump from reading and playing with cards in private, to actually reading for other people. Thanks gang!

Hi everyone, I just wonder whether is it normal to talk to your own card when you read for yourself? I just started learning to read tarot (for myself mainly) earlier this year, and usually I write my observation through writing. But writing sometimes tiring, and just a several weeks ago I started to talk through it and have a speech to text app to also record my reading. But at times I feel silly, or afraid whether I am going crazy as I talk to myself (and tarot card) 😆 because I read tarot almost everyday (for a daily pull or a 3 card pull), also I work hybrid so I have time to read tarot at my home even when I'm working. Sometimes I feel talking to tarot just so reliev…

So ykno we all pull those “bad” cards or what we subjectively might think are bad/negative cards. Yea actually, negative might be a better word! Anywho, I did a reading once and for the position of “positive aspects of this union” got the eight of swords. And I was like huuuuh? And so I had to do some searching around to see it in a positive light. I found “feeling/being there for someone during emotionally traumatizing times” and in my cosmic tarot deck there are two people surround by swords and connected by the puddle of water they are both in so it actually made sense! So it got me curious. What are some positive meanings to cards that you usually would consider “nega…

Thought it would be interesting to see everyone's Tarot year card for 2019. I'm sure many of know how to calculate this, but I came across three methods posted by MareSaturni at AT. I've now used my own birthday which is June 26 and will use the year 2018 in the examples. I have no idea which one is the most accurate. The tread started by MareSaturni engendered a long debate. Below are the methods: FIRST METHOD: day you were born + month you were born + year you want to check the cards for. You add the digits of the result until you get a number between 1-22. Using this method, my year card for 2019 is: Day: 26 + Month: 6 + Year: 2019 = 2051 2+0+5+…

I don't know if there is already an active thread discussing/studying birth year cards. If there is, could someone please point me to it? If not, I'd like to start one. (This one right here, if here is appropriate, or in another section of the Forum if that makes more sense.) Again, please advise! I was unfamiliar with birth year cards until recently. I just computed mine at https://labyrinthos.co/blogs/learn-tarot-with-labyrinthos-academy/how-to-calculate-your-tarot-birth-card-plus-short-birth-card-meanings-infographic and I couldn't be more blown away!

I'm not sure if this is the right place to tell everyone - but because the host server is closing down and the software is so archaic it can't easily be moved, Adam McLean has archived it on his own website - so it is all there for reference:.There's a lot of good stuff there. Here.

'm lucky - I own a copy of her seminal work, The tarot cards painted by Bonifacio Bembo for the Visconti-Sforza family But it isn't easily available except in potentially dicey sites. It's upward of $400 to buy. I have asked for it to be added to the Open Library - which is a wonderful, totally legit, and free place. They just answered: One way is by logging into openlibrary.org (after creating an Internet Archive account) and adding the book to your "Want To Read" list. We try to consider books that are highly requested by our patrons when making decisions about which books to digitize. This does not guarantee a book will be added. You can …

NOT COMPLETED NOTE Today in the morning I've just created a twin flame spread where I have a question about the location and where I can find my twin flame. So I did some research and I'd like to share my findings with those who'd benefit from this spread. Later I'll link this thread to the spread later. Also there's some cards in this thread that currently don't have any locations so any info about possible locations and places for the cards are welcome if you wish to share your insight. While these cards will show locations within the world like countries if you want something more specific like a shop in a town/city. So hopefully this thread will be useful t…

Calling on my intuitive readers. I need helpful hints! Starting out and developing my intuitive senses makes me nervous. It is a huge step for me! While making mistakes will be inevitable, I'm calling on those who have experience in the intuitive reading realm. What are some of the biggest mistakes you've made in the past, particularly when you were first starting off? I think this will help me as I start out on my intuitive journey. It won't prevent me from making my own mistakes, but it will help me look out for common stumbling blocks that the beginner may want to look out for. [Just a reminder that this is a safe space. The last thing we want …

I hope I'm asking this in the right topic. I'm wanting to practice reading I'm wondering if others would share with me what questions are often asked from other people when reading for them. I think for me having some general ideas of what people ask first and practicing that way would be better for me first rather than asking friends and family to do readings for them. Thank you
