Hello All! I'm going to be gifted tarot for my birthday (my husband knows me well) - and have been asked to choose a few from the Il Meneghello publishing house. I've decided to pick two of lesser value and one of higher - the two cheaper ones are Naibi Tarot by Giovanni Vacchetta, and the Minchiate Etruria. The question is now which to choose between the Sola Busca and Visconti Sforza. I'm torn!!!! What would you pick and why?

Hallo! What Animal Tarot decks do you know? I mean only Tarot, not oracles, and only with animals (different animals! not only cats or dogs etc...) And without the participation of human figures. I want to get a tarot deck with animals, but nothing that I found I like ... Maybe I missed something interesting? Here's everything I found on the internet: The Animal Wisdom Tarot Anima Mundi Tarot The Wild Unknown Tarot Animal Totem Tarot Spiritsong Tarot Otherkin Tarot Tarot of the Animal Lords (Giannini, Lo Scarabeo) The Animism Tarot (Cheung) …

I find that I'm not connecting with Tarot like I used to, for a range of reasons that I won't clutter the post with, other than to say that in a sense I don't think the Tarot - or at least my decks, and I have many - have much to say about my life at the moment. (I mostly read just for myself). Have you encountered a deck that gave you a really fresh perspective on Tarot, or opened up your mind to new ideas or new questions, that got you out of a malaise?

I sorting the rest of my decks for sale (going blind) and I have a white bag with gold UUSI lettering on it, do you know if it went with the Otherworlds, if the otherworlds which edition, it looks like there have been 6 or 7 printings? I looked at Ebay today for the first time since January, I am sickened by the .99 cent to 9.99 knockoff decks from china. From feedback they are poorly printed and quite small, but the ads take the words right off the publishers websites, Tyldwick for instance... people will do anything for a buck. anyway, I may have a few more questions before I'm finished...like what cat bit the corner of one of …

Hi there! I've been reading Tarot for a few years and I often read in the Internet that beginners start with the WaiteSmith deck (WST) and move on to the Tarot de Marseille (TDM) in many cases. I often get the impression that it's common to think that the TDM is for advanced readers, while the WST is for beginners because of its "simple" pictures.

And any card-related reasons that you're still undecided? Someone mentioned SKT and for a moment I thought ZKT and read it as Zigeuner Kartenspiel and I had to laugh because when I googled it, a very very old thread from AT had me asking "why is Zieuner Kartenspiel on my wishlist?' I did put Spirit Keepers Tarot into the cart but didn't hit 'buy' as yet because overseas postage and not *entirely* certain about the artwork. This was the state of my wishlist when I signed up here. I'm going to revisit each and see what's been published lately, too. Everyday Enchantment Tarot The Llewellyn Tarot Smith-Waite Centennial in a Tin …

Urban fantasy is not my usual aesthetic, but I've found myself craving it lately and unable to find decks that suit. I already have Lisa Sterle's Modern Witch deck, and the This Might Hurt tarot - both of which feel like they should be more urban fantasy-ish than they are. (At least to me, right now in this odd mood of mine.) I love the Neon Moon tarot, but it has a more sci-fi than fantasy vibe. Lo Scarabeo's Teen Witch tarot is pretty much what I'm going for, I think. Also the Numinous Tarot, which I absolutely adore! Basically, looking for decks which have modern-looking people, but are also magical or witchy - does anyone have any recommendations?

I found this drawing of Pythagorus and fell in love with how much it looks like he could be the Magician - even has the 'as above so below' symbolism. I would LOVE a deck like this. Are there any Hellenic decks that you recommend? The only ones I've seen are the Mythic and some that either have images that don't seem to relate to the card (and no explanation in the white book as to why it was used) and others that mix Roman in with Greek. I'm so tempted by the Mythic, but the High Priestess looks disinterested and jaded 😬

I'm looking for tarot or oracle decks which use dolls as the primary imagery. I've seen dolls used in one or two cards in a deck, but I'm wondering if there are any doll-themed decks.

Any suggestions for decks that are landscape-heavy (in terms of art, not orientation)? They don't have to be entirely free of people or completely pastoral as long as the overall focus is on the setting, if that makes sense. I've found a few so far that seem to fit the bill: Majestic Earth Tarot - JD Hildegard Hinkel Advaitarot - Jan Strube Location Tarot, Spirit of Place - Eugene Leong Linescape Tarot - Mate Horonumber Also wondering if there are any empty urban landscape tarot decks out there? Like the Tyldwick, but for cities?

I was wondering if anyone knows if the Victorian Romantic 4th Edition pre-orders have shipped. At the time it was estimated shipping would start in February. I don't have facebook but in a Google search I saw something saying they would be shipped in April now? Just curious to know if anyone has any info on this.

Just a bit of a grieving session for those of us who have lost tarot decks, however it happened! Have any of you lost tarot decks before? Years ago, a small bag of mine was stolen and it had my premier edition of the Deviant Moon Tarot in it! So naughty! Thank goodness it is mass market and popular enough that I got a borderless edition to replace it… but I do miss the old one, as it was hand-trimmed. Not an easy trim, either! Recently I lost my mini ISIS Tarot de Marseille. Such a bummer!! I am still hopeful that this deck will meet me again! Feel free to vent here. Especially about little mini decks, which really seem so easy to lose…

By Carrie Paris. Just the tarot deck, not the oracle that one could purchase before it became mass marketed. The Relative Tarot If so, how do you like it? A friend recently pointed it out to me and I find it appealing but I want to know how others found working with it. I didn't look to see if it was on the list of inclusive decks but it might be good for that. It comes with three Lovers cards, each depicting a different relationship aspect.

its_happening.gif https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-phantomwise-tarot-erin-morgenstern/1141009802?ean=9780593579114 I actually own some of the jewelry Erin made in conjunction with the ladies of Wyrding Studios back in the day. So, SO excited for this one! Hm, alas, the old gallery doesn't work anymore, but aeclectic still has some images: https://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/phantomwise/#cards

The title says it all! I’d love to hear what decks you find yourself going to again and again for readings (for yourself, and others). I’m deeply in love with the Deviant Moon Tarot right now, and find myself reaching for it again and again for myself, and for people who I don’t think will be spooked by it. The Light Seer’s Tarot always gives me solid readings, and I love how it lends itself to intuitive reading (much like the Deviant Moon). And generally, I find it suits almost anyone who comes for a reading. For really fun, light readings, I love Mystical Medleys. It also is so close to a traditional RWS that it’s a nice tool for re…

Hello! (I hope this is the right spot for this~) I bought the Japanese Myth Tarot, but it did not come with it's manual. Does anyone happen to have the book that they could take pictures of? Thank you~ Big shot in the dark here!

Looks like Valenza is making an illustrated pips version of Trionfi. Unfortunately he's not showing any of the new cards and only printing 500. 😕 Color me annoyed. At any rate: https://deviantmooninc.com/collections/trionfi-della-luna/products/trionfi-della-luna-illustrated-preorder-mid-april

Does anyone have or have any experience with the American Renaissance Tarot? Being a bookish person, I am drawn to this tarot, though it seems it would be more of a personal reading deck than one used for others.

Maya Takamura is one of my favorite artists and she did two Decks, sort of. One deck, Zektbach, is only 10 specific cards. It's based after a story that came about on a series of music videos that she drew. Some of the characters on the cards don't actually show up in the videos, but rather appear in the lore of that particular story. The videos are linked in order below. They are roughly about 2 minutes long each and the music that accompanies the videos is quite beautiful imo. Apocalypse ~Dirge of Swans~ Blind Justice ~Torn Souls, Hurt Faith~ Ristaccia Turii ~Panta Rhei~ Raison d'être ~交差す…

Hello all! I’m new to tarot and to this forum. I recently purchased the Light Seers tarot deck. I love it, apart from the 10 of swords card! To me the imagery on this card does not represent what the 10 of swords is about. I’d like to try and source the original 10 of swords card, does anyone know where I could get it? I messaged Chris Anne’s email direct but I’ve had no response. Thanks

What decks did you discover this past year (perhaps new to you, but not necessarily published this past year) that quickly became your favorites? Mine are: Tarot of the Abyss Dark Mansion Tarot Slow Tarot ROAR Oracle
