Over the last few years, I have downsized my deck collection a lot. At some point I had up to 140 decks - now I have about 30. There are a few of them I never really use, and they are in my list to-be-relinquished list, but... I have this conflict. I actually like these decks' art and/or ideas, but form some reason I just don't find them useable. To give an example, I have the "The Triple Godess Tarot" by Isha Lerner and Mara Friedman. I really like the art and the idea, and I love the Chakra Cards that come with it. But I never really manage to use it successfully. For one thing, although it comes with a complete book, the writing about the cards is rather va…

Recently I've been working with the Tarot of Vampyres by Ian Daniels, and the guidebook is a doozy. It's just really really good. And I love that when I bought this deck it was accompanied by a guidebook that really adds to the deck, and to my tarot studies. I know that US Games sometimes sold guidebooks for decks separately, but most of them are out of print and hard to come by. As it is, I live in India, and haven't been able to buy any indie or secondhand decks since Covid hit. So I'm asking for recommendations of mass-market decks with guidebooks that you thought were especially good, offered something different, or added to the deck, or however you judged t…

There was a deck over ten years ago...it had beautiful computer generated scenes. The artwork was not as fluid as Tarot of the Elves, more basic. I remember the people as being like robots or general models of people without specific features. The cards were pretty small, too small for the artwork and I think it had a lot of color-coded dots and so forth in the borders. It was from a major publisher, but never a very popular deck. I looked at the "computer generated" list on Aeclectic and didn't see it. If anyone can remember what this deck was called I would like to know. Thank you!

I just saw the R. Black Tarot on my feed, and hoo-boy I know this is going to be big. It's still a deck in progress AFAIK, but once it gets out I'm gonna grab it like no one's business. I love it!

Ahem. Please excuse me while I simultaneously shriek and swoon (impressive, I know, but so is this deck!) at yet another WiP deck that I must have immediately; https://www.artstation.com/artwork/lwmwJ You can see a few more of the cards at her website here https://www.noctique.art/dreamwalker-tarot and look, I know this is clearly a while from being finished, but this stole my breath away at the first glimpse and now I can't stop thinking about it. It's eerie and almost dark in a way I've never been drawn to before, but I love it so much.

Did anyone else back this Kickstarter? The creator has gone missing apparently- there have no updates since June, when they said they were having problems and they would refund your pledge. I asked for a refund and …. crickets.

I've been following this wonderful grayscale deck on Instagram for a while now, and it's finally available for purchase! https://www.oflightanddust.net/ Plenty of images of the cards available for viewing on the site.

This is a question that has been on my mind for some time. When you're reading with "happy" decks (bright colours, fun/cute imagery) do you feel like it skews your reading? Does it make things feel too optimistic or sort of pad out your answers? I've read with gloomier, "dark" decks before and I know it's possible to get pleasant and positive readings from them, but how easy would you say the opposite is? I'm curious.

I've wanted some nice animal decks for ages but after taking a long break from checking forums or looking at new deck releases, I feel like I'm very out of the loop! I could use some suggestions and advice. I've been looking at the Tarot of Pagan Cats again, because I've wanted it for years. In my thread about it, I ended up realising that I strongly prefer the older, bordered version and it might be a while until I can find it. I was thinking about it and if I were to pay a larger sum for an used copy of the old version, I might as well look at other decks I might like better (just in case). I asked in the enabling/de-enabling threads about the An…

I absolutely love the Spiral tarot but am wondering if anyone knows if Kay Steventon is still in the community and if the deck can make a comeback without borders and full size? I would buy it in a minute. I keep it in my travel altar kit trimmed. Please, I'm calling out to US Games to re-release as a full size borderless deck. What do you think about this absolutely gorgeous deck?

I need help with finding tarot decks with orange backsides. I have looked, but there are so many decks so I thought that you will know some by heart. One other tarot lover/medium said that I should read with a deck with orange backside this year, but I never found one in time so I ended up with one with lilac backside instead. So I hope you can help me find one before this years end and that I can use it next year instead. Thank you!💖

We were discussing this deck in another thread, so I thought I'd open up a thread to discuss the imagery and how they relate to either the meanings Kim Krans gives them or other meanings you like to give it! (This is where we originally discussed it) @rosieblack1 🙂

So I discovered this deck in a post on the Facebook Tarot Marketplace group. It was already sold, but it sent me into a rabbit hole that yielded very few results. A post on the Tarot collectors Forum: http://www.tarotcollectors.com/view_topic.php?id=3347&forum_id=4 A brief mention in these hallowed forums: And a few YouTube walkthroughs. And, well, this is the deck's very own website: http://www.serpentandthepeacock.com/ That's it. Basically, almost no one seems to have heard of this deck. Ever. I did order it, together with the book, and they arrived yesterday, wonderfully packed, and with a bo…

So it looks like, despite this being (as far as I know) out of print for some time, Lo Scarabeo has acquired some copies: loscarabeo.com/en/products/tarocco-delle-vetrate?_pos=1&_sid=04afec19e&_ss=r (They indicate these are Dal Negro copies, not a reprint, in the description.) For any of you still trying to find this one--mine is lacking a box so I might snag this as a backup copy.

Hi! I saw a briefly saw tarot deck that I really liked on the Netflix original series "You," second season, episode 5. A character is sitting on a bed and reading a deck that has such beautiful vibrant colors and designs (on the card back). It also seems like a substantially sized deck as well. I tried to take a photo, which turned out horrible, but I will post anyway. Any of you Netflix subscribers and want to help me with my quest to ID this deck?? Thank you!

🐷 Can you think of any decks that feature pigs? Non-tarot welcome too, but I am most curious about tarot decks that contain depictions of pigs. Thank you!!

https://www.somniatarot.com/products/tarotdeck Who's in on this? Not yet released, but damn .... very tempted. I have a fascination with water and the ocean, as well as nightmares. Quite an intense combination for me. Spiritual, compelling. The use of costume, sculpture and photography sems unique here.

I don't usually get very excited about new decks. I do appreciate them and admire them but I don't easily get swept off my feet anymore. I decided to have a little browse the other day to see what's out there and maybe add some new decks to my selection if there were any I was drawn to. I wasn't expecting gangbusters, but I did see a few that might be kind of a change of pace at least. I haven't paid attention to the new decks coming out for the most part so I just took peeks at some on Amazon but didn't research real deeply. I ordered three-----the Enchanted Forest, the Spiritsong, and since I'd wanted the Star when I had the Majors several years ago, I ordered the 7…

Hello, does anyone have the Page of Swords from the Lunatic Tarot? I just got back into tarot. I recently purchased a new, unopened deck off eBay and that card was missing. Deck: Lunatic Tarot by Evan Yi Feng Year: 2016

I've been wanting to pull the trigger on these two decks for so long. I love the amount of symbolism in them and the mythology behind the Apokalypsis. But I wonder how people go with doing a whole reading with them? I can see how I could use them for clarifiers, but realistically speaking, how do you guys go with using them for a whole large spread like the Celtic Cross? For reference, I love Ciro Marchetti decks, so I'm not shy about colour and detail.

hi, i've recently been bought the Thelema tarot deck. It said it came with a book for the cards but it doesn't 😞 does anyone know where i can get a book linked to the deck or is it own interpretation? i love the images on the cards and they are so different to my very old Russle Grant set (received in 1995). i'm in the uk if that helps. thanks Amy
