Tchalaï Unger's Tarot Tzigane, long out of print and sought after, has just been reprinted. I've written a short presentation of the news, and previously translated a chapter from the accompanying book.

Meleen just completed a few years of work on Telos Tarot of 777 and will be doing a kickstarter soon. There's more info at https://telostarot.com/ Live now -- adding the kickstarter video: I post a lot 😅 about how much I'm a huge fan of Meleen's hand drawn art and knowledge of tarot. Tabula Mundi changed my tarot life. So I definitely wanted to get the word about about the new deck, now that it's finished. 🙂 This one is, "hand painted with acrylic, ink, and colored pencil." And is intimately related to the astrological correspondences used by the Thoth and RWS, like Tabula Mundi was, but this time based on 777 and the images there…

So another LotR deck is up now--I remember watching this artist paint these paintings some time ago. Looks like they did an MPC order. https://www.etsy.com/listing/994160809/lord-of-the-rings-tarot-deck No box but it's otherwise quite cute. Tempting.

its_happening.gif https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-phantomwise-tarot-erin-morgenstern/1141009802?ean=9780593579114 I actually own some of the jewelry Erin made in conjunction with the ladies of Wyrding Studios back in the day. So, SO excited for this one! Hm, alas, the old gallery doesn't work anymore, but aeclectic still has some images: https://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/phantomwise/#cards

After picking up my waterproof, Samhain Deck of the Bastard again, for the last, new moon reading, I'm addicted 😁. I remembered the shuffle being fantastic but oh my god, it riffles like butter. This got me wondering. Are there any other decks printed on that same, buttery soft, waterproof stock that tarotbyseven uses? I thiiiiink her decks are usually printerstudio but not sure about the waterproof stock. I believe the Ellis Deck still has a waterproof version for now (wish I'd sprung for that instead of my standard deck but I was feeling cheap at the time) but do you guys know of any others? I can't really justify 3 versions of Deck of the bastar…

What are your most sought after decks? Is there a thread like that? Even if there is our wish list changes from time to time. I only mean those decks that you are prepared (at least spiritually and you'd even make some sacrifices if it would be necessary to get them) (so I don't mean those decks that you think oh it would be nice to have them (theoretically) but you don't actually try to get them. Mine are: Terracotta tarot Solara Occulto first or second edition The Little Monsters tarot - which I added to my wish list just recently. I never would've imagined that I'd like this deck so much; I've seen it on youtube and I also printed out a few c…

So I'm browsing through bookdepository looking for another Thoth deck. I have the small purple edition and I'd like better cardstock and larger images. Came across this German edition that says it's Deluxe, card dimensions seems to be very large indeed. The box and the publishing date makes me think it's the AGM Muller version. Do anyone here have this version and can comment on it? Will it soothe my itch for a better quality Thoth on a budget or should I go for the green box USGS version instead since the bigger images is what I want the most? https://www.bookdepository.com/Crowley-Thoth-Tarot-De-Luxe-Ausgabe-78-Karten-Aleister-Crowley/9783905021189?ref=grid-view&…

I discovered that the tarot shop in the capital sells the OOP (according to AT at least) Chinese Tarot. Stock moves slow, it seems? I saw it mentioned on the Most Beautiful Decks-thread and since my resolution this year for deck buying includes buying more indie decks and mass produced decks from local shops I'm very intrigued by this one. If you have it, how does it read? Do I need to be a proper wiz in Chinese culture and history to use this deck?

Calling on your deck expertise once again, friends! I saw this posted in a Facebook group and was wondering if anyone can help?

I have the Vachetta and love it- the card stock is amazing for riffle shuffling and it is a beauty. I also have the Soprafino- beautiful, but not the same card stock. For those who have other decks from them- any of the other decks with similar card stock to the Vachetta? I am pondering the Besacon but don't want to get another (I have a couple copies) unless it is the sublime stock. Also curious on the small Visconti. I am such a sucker for card stock- for all the decks I own there are still only a handful I enjoy shuffling, and hence using.

I really love RWS decks with original old images (eg Centennial Edition). But now I want to buy a deck with bright colors. I choose between Radiant and Universal decks (US Games). In the first, I like the colors and smoothness of the lines, but on it the faces of people are drawn a little differently from that of Pamela Colman Smith. The second is closer to the original, but not "radiant" enough. How do you like these two decks? What do you advise? And I know there is also a Radiant Wise Spirit deck (Lo Scarabeo), but its drawing lines are too rough.

I'm not entirely certain that this is the right sub-forum for this post, so I apologise in advance if the mods need to move it. But this is a topic that's been on my mind a lot lately, and I've discussed it with the few tarot readers I know in real life, and would really like to know what more of the community thinks about it. I'm also not trying to start any kind of drama or controversy, so please know that nothing I say is meant to offend anyone. I just genuinely want to discuss this. So: here's the debate I've been having. On the one hand, nearly any tarot card can be interpreted as 'good' or 'bad', depending on the context. We all roll our eyes whenever some B-m…

Came across this today on Facebook. A lovely looking deck with Marseille-style pips. A good review here: https://www.tabi.org.uk/2018/07/hot-off-the-press-review-of-the-tattoo-tarot-ink-and-intuition/ One for the wish list!

I don't know if anyone has compiled a list like this. If they did here, please share a link. If there's no list already created, I'm starting one and if one already exists, I'll just let the mods delete mine. Here's the ones I know of and the ones with *s will be the ones I know are still in print. *Halloween *Radiant Rider Waite *Aquarian *Zillich *Vanessa *Gummy Bear *The Wonderland Tarot *A Tarot in a Tin *RWS Centennial *Morgan Greer *Barbara Walker *Sun and Moon *Universal Waite *White Sage Are there more either in or out of print? I actually thought the Van…

Just a bit of a grieving session for those of us who have lost tarot decks, however it happened! Have any of you lost tarot decks before? Years ago, a small bag of mine was stolen and it had my premier edition of the Deviant Moon Tarot in it! So naughty! Thank goodness it is mass market and popular enough that I got a borderless edition to replace it… but I do miss the old one, as it was hand-trimmed. Not an easy trim, either! Recently I lost my mini ISIS Tarot de Marseille. Such a bummer!! I am still hopeful that this deck will meet me again! Feel free to vent here. Especially about little mini decks, which really seem so easy to lose…

I am an artist. I was recently asked by a Tarot master friend to paint the images for a deck. I spent most of a year and created images for the Major Arcana. The cards are printed now along with an illustrated guide book. They have enthusiastically recieved in the local market and the paintings are well received and selling in the art market. I would like t get them out to the world of Tarot lovers but am not sure how to proceed. Any advice or help? (LINK REMOVED by ADMIN)

Hi all, I know there was a rather large thread when the first deck came out, and I follow the creator on IG and he just posted that you can preorder Volume 2, which improves upon the first one; larger cards, better card stock (linen), rounded corners, more detailed guidebook. I never got the first one so i'm excited. You have to send $100 USD to Paypal or Venmo (instructions in the latest post). The creator's Instagram is @rblackart

Someone on a Discord server I am in asked if any of us had the Marcella Krolls Dreamers Tarot. She wanted to know what the book had to say about the Judgment and Tower cards as she has apparently lost her booklet. Since there are so many collectors here I thought I'd ask for them. Edited for a mistake and to add information.

It's strange, but nobody has created a thread yet for one of the most highly anticipated decks this year - the Game of Thrones Tarot. I feel like even non-readers might take a gander at this one if only to fuel their obsession for the TV or book series. I remember feeling a bit down when its November 2017 release was postponed. Now it's going to be out next month, and there's no indication that it will be delayed again. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! If there's any deck that might break my moratorium, it's going to be this one.

The Grand Ellessia deck seems to be moving ahead now - it stalled for YEARS. https://www.flickr.com/photos/60685638@N06 It's kind of wonderfully insane... I hope it gets printed.

If you were to choose three to five decks for the keen tarot student, who wanted a well rounded education with a good cross-section of styles/general philosophy/card meanings... what would be your selection?
