Hello! I have an opportunity to receive the Gendron Tarot deck and there appears to be mixed reviews on it. If you have it, please share likes and dislikes. Is there a deck that is comparable in the pros it offers - symbolism and message delivery, but better quality collage art? I am not typically a big fan of collage art, but really like Danielle Noel’s cards. @Rodney and @gregory, do either of you, or both, have this deck and could share your thoughts on it? Thank you!

Have any of you pledged for this, or played the previous version? https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/causacreations/sefirot-silver-seals?ref=9mhpnd&utm_source=jellop&ja=z2aimakj&utm_term=001.ja&utm_content=SilverSeals-CB04&utm_medium=facebook&utm_id=fb&utm_campaign=120211249411500746&fbclid=IwY2xjawFCCkhleHRuA2FlbQEwAAEdQ4wJMTZEk2HWK-hLi3e0h_dVIFxeTvE2TGtOGA7avkhoJZqUpuj0wf5n_aem_W0A_yc0Z7vnIoPL3A9dOyA&campaign_id=120211249431010746&ad_id=120211358393310746

Does anyone have this deck? I am curious what others here may have to say about it - quality, reading with, etc. It has mixed reviews on YouTube. https://www.etsy.com/listing/958184719/serpent-and-the-peacock-tarot-cards-and

So- this is the deck I almost didn't get. You know that deck- the one you mull over, talk yourself out of, buy 3 other decks, then mull some more. Yes- that was this deck. I had a ton of reasons, the first being that the art style just isn't my typical love. I usually can't get into decks that look like this- usually my real working decks are ones that started out on canvas/paper- not computer. And the imagery was kind of strange on some of the cards- am I really going to like it or is this another wasted purchase? Let me buy 3 more I really don't love- that'll be the best plan. I know I can't be the only one here! Finally, I just took the plunge- bought it, t…

I was browsing though Instagram, looking for new tarot decks, y'know, as you do, and I stumbled across one called the Shadow Light Tarot deck. It's a black and white tarot deck that very strongly reminds me of the Light Visons deck, though it is significantly more goth. There isn't a whole lot of info about what it is exactly, but here's a short description I found. "Within this Tarot Deck exists a great & powerful Magick. All five suites are depicted as an infinite panoramic scene deeply embedded with esoteric symbolism. Each line, letter, & shape has been illustrated by hand to bring to life the vision presented before you. Discover the true balance existing…

For those who've been wanting this deck, Eric Tecce re-emerged to offer it for sale again. A bit pricey at $100US, though all the photos suggest it's well made. Available here for a limited time (per Instagram): https://erictecce.myshopify.com/products/shadow-light-tarot-deck-by-illustrator-eric-tecce

This may be old news for some, but I'm posting it just in case. Stephanie Pui-Mun Law is selling on her website a "special edition" of her deck: http://www.shadowscapes.com/Tarot/deckSE.php I was hoping it was a larger, more luxurious edition like the Czech one, but, as far as I can tell, it seems to be the regular Llewellyn edition plus some perks. To be frank, I'm more than a little underwhelmed, but YMMV.

Hi, I recently received my Kickstarter for Yokai Yochi Tarot, which came with two decks instead of one. I opened one, and left another in its plastic. I was thinking of giving one to a friend for Christmas, but then I saw this: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1124806711/new-yokai-yochi-tarot-by-buboplague?gpla=1&gao=1&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping_ca_en_ca_a-home_and_living-spirituality_and_religion-divination_tools-tarot&utm_custom1=_k_CjwKCAiA4veMBhAMEiwAU4XRr3-UQL4p_Rot1m-QP1h7TLEpN5hQO3f-DIENJYtKLf9O4BidjjFiiBoC5qEQAvD_BwE_k_&utm_content=go_318297285_49904056482_230593203799_pla-308022796295_c__1124806711enca_102…

Not all hands can shuffle standard sized decks, and not all bags (or pockets) can fit them either. Coincidentally I fit into neither category but, no matter how much I call it a blackhole, my handbag already has enough stuff in it without adding a full sized deck to it 😂 So, for all those similarly challenged, let us glory in the diminutive and compile a list of perfectly petite decks! What mini decks do you know of? What are your favourites? They can be any size as long as they are either smaller than a standard tarot deck or smaller than the original eg. Baroque Bohemian Cats mini. As the lovely Katrinka has mentioned, if you're after…

Hi! I finally found a copy of the Prediction Tarot a few months ago and absolutely love the simplicity and style of the art as well as the size! Does anyone have any suggestions for similar decks? I collect decks and already have a bunch with intricately decorated cards, especially the pips so I'm looking for the same tranquil feeling that I get from the Prediction Tarot. Thank you so much!

Does anybody have the Sinking Wasteland Tarot? What do you think about it? Do you use it often, and would you recommend it? At first I didn't really take to it, since I just wasn't enamored of the deck's artistic style. It has really grown on me tho. I like its gothy apocalyptic vibe, and tho it's RWS-based, I admire how creative its takes on it are. Btw, HERE are images of the cards in the deck's website.

I am compiling a list of Slavic decks - Ukrainian, Russian, others - looking for something to MAYBE buy later. I am also interested in Oriental decks. I have seen many beautiful Asian decks (Chinese or Japanese) but what I want is a deck with an Arabic or Persian influence. Ethnically, I am an Uzbek/Tajik-Ukrainian-Russian mix, and I would like one deck that reflects at least some part of my ancestry. I have been looking long and hard at the 1001 Nights. These are tales I grew up with, and the cards look very much like illustrations from my beloved Uzbek fairy tales. I am very, very tempted to buy the deck, however I don't like its white borders. And Benebell…

I have been working with the Sol Invictus: The God Tarot for quite a while now and it is indubitably one of the best ever Tarot decks that I chanced upon. I have always been a fan of luxurious, opulent, and lushly dreamy art in Tarot, and the deck's aesthetic is honestly quite the opposite of that. You heard that right - the images in the cards are a bit "naive" and certainly not what I would rave about as I would with most of my decks. But that really is quite the point - the whole execution of the deck is so excellent, so competently-done, that its art was not enough to turn me off. Au contraire - the intellectual delights that the companion book offers and the almo…

It seems like the Sola Busca revival is still going strong. There is some good news for everyone who missed out on the very first offering of Lo Scarabeo's Anima Antiqua series. Their deluxe Sola Busca is going to be released again this January 2019, and this time it's going to be in a museum-quality kit! I like how responsive LS has become to popular clamor - the initial release has sold out in around six months after all. And now, not only is it going to be reprinted - it's going to come out with an extensive guidebook by renowned Sola Busca scholar Paola Gnaccolini. This is a huge deal, as the available texts on the Sola Busca by Di Vincenzo, Adams, Dorsini, et…

I had this site bookmarked because it showed all the Sola Busca cards, but I can't get it to come up today, any pages at all. Is it gone or is it just me? It will sure be a loss if it is shut down. And does anyone have an alternate site with all the cards? And would you agree this is the World card?

I’ve been (im)patiently waiting for another printing of this one.

A couple of creators I've been following on IG are close to releasing some truly lovely decks from Russia: Tarot of Salt and Water by Лера Квасова, https://www.instagram.com/tv/Cdc0cN_FaGo/ Spoiler Those last two pics are of her test print run, so this one is due out in a few weeks it would seem. I've asked her about how to order it and will report back. Next up, Tarot of the Solar Kingdom by Просто Таня, https://www.instagram.com/mimimitani/ This one might be a few more months out; I love the folk style: Spoiler …

I don't believe I've seen a thread about this deck...I just came across the forthcoming Spirit Keeper's Tarot by Benebell Wen. The cards look symbol-rich and quite unique. https://benebellwen.com/spirit-keepers-tarot/

I've had my eyes on this deck for months and finally got the money to pay for it today. I love masculine decks and this one will satisfy me for a long time! Here is the google link to many of the images, the name of the deck is St Jinx Tarot. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&tbm=isch&q=st+jinx+tarot&backchip=online_chips:jinx+art&chips=q:st+jinx+tarot,online_chips:divine+masculine&usg=AI4_-kRzhEWH3EH5mBlOSqT0DXIc5b2O7g&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjDjbPz5rThAhVuUt8KHeXuASoQ4VYIKCgB&biw=2560&bih=1308&dpr=1 Here is the company page https://www.makeplayingcards.com/sell/stjinxtarot And his deviant art page https://www…

I bumped into this deck while looking for something else on Google, and I was surprised to find no reference to it in the forums, or almost anywhere. It's... intriguing. Nothing we have not seen before, down to the cobweb on the backs, but intriguing nonetheless. The Kickstarter campaign was funded last year: It should be available in April, and can still be preordered on Etsy. The campaign includes the Etsy link, but just in case here it is: https://www.etsy.com/listing/752558952/pre-order-the-star-seeker-tarot-deck?ref=listing_published_alert What do you guys think?
