Hello, I don't think this newly released deck has been mentioned yet. It's called 'le Tarot initiatique' (= initiatory Tarot) by French illustrator Arnaud Malherbe. It's a bright deck using primary colours, black and white. It's pretty minimalist which I like. Minors are pip cards. I'm very tempted but I can't stretch the Tarot budget this month ;D No idea about the card stock but since it's rather cheap (15€) I don't expect something extraordinary (mind you it's a mass market Tarot released by a major French publishing house so it can actually be good). The whole deck can be seen here: http://www.le-tarot-initiatique.com/ I'd love to hear your thoughts about…

Is any one of you working with or have been working with the Tarot Lenormand? What is your general opinion about it? http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/tarot-lenormand/ It's my deck for the year and I must say that it's a deck that I have to struggle with. The pictures are very simple and some of them don't make any sense at all! :))

Another gothic masterpiece from Luis Royo, published by Heraclio Fournier. This tarot is based upon the artwork of the Malefic Time graphic novel series. Malefic Time is a fantasy universe where humanity is not alone in creation: there are other creatures, called in many ways over the years, now known as Celestials and Fallen. These are the manifestations of the superstitions and mythological beliefs of different cultures around the world. These creatures are of immense power have been influencing us, manipulating us and waging a war against each other. 78 full colour cards and instructions

If you're looking for a modern TdM deck, I just found (and backed) Tarot Morandi on Kickstarter. The creator is an animator and illustrator, and it shows in the deck's art. The campaign ends on August 4.

https://www.usgamesinc.com/tarot-neocolonial-de-las-americas.html I found this on US Games Systems today and it looks interesting. It's very political and also appears inclusive. I might have to make that investment.

I came across this deck by chance and wondered if anyone has it or knows about it? http://www.alchemywebsite.com/tarot/art_tarot10.html I like these images! Of course from what I can see here this deck really does seem to be "obscura" and probably is very difficult to find. Alas! This is not to be confused with the American Obscura Tarot, which I believe is a different deck with a similar name.

Publisher is Magical Omaha. With full size companion book that is the same content as the original edition. Thanks, @DDwarks, for verifying that. DuQuette posted about it on fb, so it's legit. $56.99 though, and with a sizeable shipping charge if you're not in the US, but thought I'd pass along in case anyone is eyeing a more expensive sale of the long OOP edition. EDIT: @FLizarraga pointed out that when you sign up for Magical Omaha emails, you get 20% off your first purchase. It's HERE.

I have been bingeing on Lon Milo Duquette's videos on the Thoth deck (courtesy of our very own EmpyreanKnight X/ ), and reading his delicious memoir My Life with the Spirits. The man just oozes charisma and is a born raconteur. I confess he fascinates me. I do have a few books of his that I haven't gotten around to read, among them the companion book for the Tarot of Ceremonial Magick. And I'm starting to feel intrigued by this deck, which, alas, seems hopelessly OOP. (Except for a pirate, made in Ukraine edition that sells on eBay for about US $40. Oddly enough for a pirate edition, they openly admit it's not the original.) Does anyone here have it? (I'm betti…

I commented this over on the new Majestic Earth Tarot kickstarter thread, but felt I should start a new thread to spread the good news. :) A number of us were lamenting missing out on J.D. Hildegard Hinkel's Tarot of Delphi, and I found this on her website today: http://www.tarotofdelphi.com/ "The deck is out of print, but I do plan to print a second edition in 2019 or 2020. Join the mailing list here for updates. In the meantime, I’ll be working on companion book and posting excerpts on this blog." Really looking forward to this, as I have been kicking myself for missing out on it before. If this comes out in 2019, wow, it's going to be a pretty epic year…

I just finished doing something I threatened to do a while back when I first got the deck and used it for a deck of the week. Backing up: I always had the idea of creating a haiku tarot using recognized haiku masterworks. But someone has beat me to it, and it’s so much better than I was projecting in my mind. It’s Tarot of Japanese Poetry by Irina Ilyina & V. ad Veritatum, published by NYIV Deluxe Cards Ltd. It has a booklet with a poem (not all exactly haiku, but mostly) for each card. The cards illustrate the poem (rather than RWS scenes) with lovely Japanese-style art. The suits are seasons. It adds a princess and “day before” for ea…

On Kickstarter: I realize I'm posting new decks like it's going out of style...I don't know what it is but I've just happened across so many this week! In any case, this one really appeals to me. 43 days left in the Kickstarter as of today. I think I'm going to back it.

Good news today, going to printer, love the backs. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/464462991/tarot-of-little-secrets-a-playful-deck-for-trouble/posts/2385107?ref=ksr_email_backer_project_update_registered_users#comments

This looks like a fascinating deck. According to the creator, it is "tarot is the tradition of feminist sci-fi and queer magic." And here's more info: "The Tarot of Many Doors is a sci-fi themed, queer, anarchist deck. Because this deck is anti-authoritarian, the Queen, King, Knight and Page cards have been replaced with Reader, Speaker, Walker and Reverie, respectively." Looks like the first print run will be quite small! https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5ae0c0242714e5c80f808b22/5ae0c9e903ce6410c5b6a6b4/5af5f780352f537697ddf8de/1526069683027/spread2.jpg?format=1500w https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5ae0c0242714e5c80f808b22/t/5ae177c80e2e72a5565c6ff…

I tried to find a thread about this deck but didn't find one! I've wanted this deck for ages and now that my local post office has returned to normal, I'm thinking of getting it. I'm just not really sure which edition to get. I was going to get the regular-size in the new (borderless) version but I'm not a huge fan of the purple graphic at the bottom, it looks kind of intrusive and like maybe it clips the bottom of the image? The only bordered version I can find is in mini format, so I've got some questions about that: how good are the images? Are details visible? Does the size affect them much (if you can compare between the regular deck and the mini version)…

Hello, hello ! I have been quiet for some time (because very busy in real life !) but I am glad to be back ! I recently had the opportunity to purchase the Tarot of Prague 1st edition - this deck I had on my wish list for years, but it was always very pricy on ebay (I even saw it listed for something like 2000 $ !!!! I doubt it ever sold for that price though, lol !) Anyway, it was one of these decks that I had kind of resolved myself to never get because of the price, and two weeks ago I saw it on ebay for a reasonable price... there were already a couple of bids on it... I placed a bid, thinking that it would be outbid in no time... I was so convinced to be outbi…

Who else has the Tarot of Shadows by Vera Sklyarova? It is a Tarot deck of Russian provenance that is virtually unknown in the West but has a significant following in some Slavic countries. Just google "Таро Теней" and you'll see pages upon pages of forum threads dedicated to the deck and its cards. Thank God for Google Chrome and instant Google Translate, these pages have become somewhat comprehensible.

Here's another one I've been meaning to share: http://www.tarotoftheabyss.com/ It's by the same artist as the Oracle of Echoes and the forthcoming Bonestone and Earthflesh Tarot. This one is a black and white deck, all done in pen and ink drawings. I love the fine lines. Black and white decks usually don't grab me as much, but this one intrigues me.

The Tarot of the Cat People by Karen Kuykendall is one of my all-time favourite decks and the only one that has a permanent place on my work desk. I have always been intrigued by the frame story of the Outer Region, but the LWB only has minimal detail on that story. I know there is a companion book. Does anyone have it, who can tell me more about it? Most of the previews online show the pages with card meanings, but the LWB covers those quite well. I’m more interested in the story material. How substantial is it in the book?

This deck seems truly unique, and I love how diverse it is. Very sensuous. Definitely NSFW.

https://noreahbrownfield.com/product/tarot-holy-light-tarot-deck-deluxe-size-edition/ Does anyone here own this deck? I'm very intrigued. It's beautiful and it seems as though studying it would give you quite an education in esoteric subjects. I'm betting that it would be necessary to buy the two books that go along with it as well.

My snuffaluffagus spoiled me today, gifted me with tarot of the magical forest. I wanted a fun funny bunny tarot deck. I received it. All smiles. <3 happy as a little piglet. Lol. The deck is just that, fun funny bunny.

This was brought to my attention by dear @Flaxen and I felt like this great news needed it’s own thread. I have been wanting this deck for a very long time and I am so glad that I will finally be able to acquire one!

Some of us paid for the whole deck years and years ago. We got the major arcana and a few minor cards. The deck was coming out so slowly that I doubted I live the day to see it in its 78 cards version. Did you got all the cards? Because I came across this on her website: Which means that the deck IS or WILL BE finished very soon.
