When looking at season and sign, how do you interpret when the card is the same for the season and sign?

This is a collective new moon and full moon depends the phase zodiac (sun, moon, rising (mostly rising i explain later) spread i also tend to read the meanings combined to several astrology events sometimes for each of these placements especially if they come up but this part can be optional if you don't read astrology transits as well So you start of with the general energy of the moon on top which you choose exactly like you choose for any reading so any way is right if you work with moon decks you can also choose to put its phase or/and exact placement like new moon in Sagittarius or the moon phase and the sign it's in next to it (for astrology decks if you don't …

These two spreads were created by Anya Esma. She has a youtube channel (that I will link below) and an etsy shop where she offers readings with these spreads (also linked below). In her video she encourages people to try these spreads for themselves and she generously shares the spread positions on her etsy page. Her channel is great so do check it out! The first spread is for those who are embarking on a depth year for the very first time while the second year is for those that are doing a second (or third...) depth year. Depth Year Preparation spread (3 cards) 1. Something you need to bring in before starting your Depth Year - an insp…

I have a really hard time expressing myself. I get an idea, but it becomes all jumbled up when I try to put it into words. So I cane up with this spread to help me; I hope you don't need it, but if you do, I hope it helps you. 1---2---3---4---5---6---7 1. What am I really trying to say? (because sometimes even I don't know what I mean). 2. Which thoughts and ideas should I include? 3. Which thoughts and ideas should I leave out? 4. Once I've figured all of this out, what is the best way to express what I want to say? 5. Should I even express this: will it be helpful or hurtf…

Here is another spread that uses dice and cards in collaboration. I'm not entirely sure its flexible enough for all situations, but I like the methodology. I will be doing some practice readings with it and may tweak it https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2019/08/17/roll-them-bones-situational-awareness-spread/

Hi, guys! I made a spread for myself tonight and figured I would share it here. Anyone is free to use it / adapt as they wish! Dealing with and healing from trauma: 1 - What do I need to in order to heal from this pain? 2 What can help me in this healing process? 3. What can hurt me in this healing process? 4. What is my goal? 5. What is the outcome? And here's my spread reading, as the example: 1 - What do I need to in order to heal from this pain? The World: You need to as always, get out of your own head and see your place in the bigger picture; remember that you never know where these paths will take …

Most of you know that I'm not a fan of 3-card readings since I think they take too narrow a slice of the deck and tell too shallow a story. If I use them, I prefer to extract the cards from a larger population of drawn cards using some kind of a "pointer." In this case I'm relying on the nominal "facing" of the figures or landscape features on the cards in each of three positions to determine which of them to read in the columns. (This is what used to be called a "Chinese menu" approach ["I'll have one from Column A, one from Column B and one from Column C"], but I imagine that is now politically incorrect.) The first two cards use rightward orientation to pr…

I did a presentation to the Capital Tarot Society yesterday, Exploring Old Spreads, based on the book, Untold Tarot: The Lost Art of Reading Ancient Tarot by Caitlin Matthews. The presentation is attached. There is more good info in the book, so get it if you’re interested! I also geeked out on the historical decks she used to illustrate the book. After playing around with them for a little bit, I think my favorite spread is the Pages Have News for You, and maybe the Fountain, but I haven’t really tried that out yet. Which ones do you think you’ll try? Exploring Old Spreads 9-9-23.pdf

Hey guys! I'm most positive that there's a spread out there very similar to this one, but I created a spread that seems to work very well for me on forecasting the week ahead in a bit more detail with less cards! A quick rundown in text as well! 1. Overall Theme - This is what the overall theme of the week will be! 2. What to Do - This is what you should do over the course of that week, whether it be a physical activity, or mental prep, what have you! 3. Insight/Advice - This will act as a clarification for card #2, giving you some insight as to why you must do this, what to look out for, or advice on how to do it! 4. What NOT to Do - This is what you should…

Today (the 25th of May) is World Tarot Day! It's a day that was started in 2003 by Den Elder founder of the International Society Helping Tarot, to celebrate Tarot in it's diversity and promote it! Also today is World Towel Day, a day to celebrate The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Douglas Adams. Back on Aelectic, @Nisaba created a spread especially for this day and covering both things. She would start a thread discussing it every year, like this one from 2010 here. So I wanted to bring her spread over here, so we have a record of it. This was the original thread of her creation here. I think it was posted sometime in the 2000's. I…

Future: What does the future hold for my love life or personal growth? Does anyone have other Heartbreak spreads they could recommend? I'm eager to try some new ones -TarotGirl

I’m sure this is probably a duplicate to something that’s been asked in the past but I couldn’t find any specific threads about it. I’m extremely new to tarot and most of what I’ve seen for spreads have come from YouTube and a few assorted websites. Any and all recommendations would be greatly appreciated. 💜

Author's Note: This spread has been inspired by a forum on AT on this link http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=54978. 2-3 weeks ago I meditated with the guidance of a youtube video: At first I was scared to do that since I didn't know if I wanted to see my future self but it was an amazing experience and I love my future self. That inspired me to create a Tarot Spread "Talk with your future self" Here's the link of my instagram where I posted it: https://www.instagram.com/p/BqqJPtUn4t1/ The Spread as I posted it on the link above is: 1...2...3...4...5 1. My present self (this can also be intentional) 2. My future self will thank me for... 3. My future self tells me to focus on... 4. My future self tells me to cut off... 5. Advice from my future self If you want to ask …

I’m wondering if there’s any specific spreads meant for reading about multiple romantic relationships at the same time (ex I’m in a relationship and want to know about any other future relationships that would interact with my current relationship). I’ve seen there is a spread for 3 person relationships but I don’t think it quite fits what I’m looking for. I’m also wondering if it would be better to do multiple small spreads and ask them as separate questions?

I learned tarot from an older family member, and she would only teach me the one spread; the extended celtic cross. This, apparently, is the best one and so forth. But sometimes, a simpler spread would be okay, perhaps? So what spreads do you use? I'd very much like to learn some new ones! And when you do different spreads, do you tell the deck when shuffling which spread you are using?

I was looking through an old topic on Tarot spreads and @Nemia wrote something that piqued my interest in a different direction: @Nemia said <<Personally, I prefer to milk a small number of cards for what they're worth instead of pulling a lot of cards. But I've seen people work very well with big spreads. It's not for me, I'm easily overwhelmed 😉 >> This got me wondering about other people here ... Do YOU like large spreads with many cards? Small spreads? Medium? I define large as anything more than 10 cards. I dislike large spreads ... BUT ... I often end up reading with a lot of cards ... it's situational f…
