Hi , I recently bought the old Arabian Lenormand. It contains extra cards. One of them is a zero with a picture of spices. What does this mean? I thought there was only 36 cards.

Hey everyone! How's it going? Newbie here :) This is my first post (pls be kind >.<), and I actually found this forum through the topic 'Discussion on Missing Topics and Overburdened Cards' (https://www.thetarotforum.com/forums/topic/15650-discussion-on-missing-topics-and-overburdened-cards/) I'm trying to adapt the 36 cards — and beyond the ones that can have gender, I feel the need for some specific cards that the deck doesn't have individually, but rather attributes to different cards/combinations depending on who's doing the reading. So far, these are the additions: 37 - Hourglass Time, future, innovation, technology, awareness of time, passing of time. 38 - M…

I came across this Lenormand deck for sale in a website. I quite like the “clean” and vintage aesthetics, but I also noticed that each card has two PCs inserts instead of one, which I had never seen before. Also, the style of the pips in each insert is different, as if they came from different decks. Any idea what they refer to? Have you ever seen a Lenormand like this before? Thanks!

Modern Lenormad its in vogue to include extra lord and lady cards ... and some decks have a non-binary person card. Ellada deck by Daniloff ... I just read it for the first time and was surprised to discover it has a different take on the extra cards. It has a masculine and feminine #28 Lord It has a feminine and masculine #29 Lady They're not exactly non-binary ... but I thought it was an interesting take. The gender-bending cards are both musicians.

There are some youtube channels i think where they read on public events. Jeanne dixon use to publish her forcasts. I remember the census on atf was mostly negative in context of invasion of privacy . Still i would to do readings on if clint eastwood would ever act in a movie. Will x star from 2000s ever make a comeback. The plan is to avoid crimes, mysteries.. i saw a book where the pyschic said exactly who did it.. and how. Well the killer vould read and know how to cover his tracks even better. That said be cool to use lenormand to discern what happen to db cooper. Is there actually bigfoot. If so why hasn't he really been discovered? Remember the gho…

Was that just an idea that fizzled? There haven't been any posts since 2014 and the blogs are mostly long gone it links to. I very much enjoyed the interview with Lauren Forestell and look forward to her sales site reopening. Just curious, thanks.

I only recently learned that Malpertius Design studio (which made the Tyldwick Tarot) also produced a number of extraordinarily beautiful Lenormand decks as well, some of which still seem to be in stock. So I still had Malpertius Lenormand decks on the brain when I ran across someone on ebay selling what I feel is something truly extraordinary — a copy of the Classic Crime Lenormand. This is a deck that Malpertius creator Neil Lovell never sold or produced publicly. Instead he made a limited number of copies which he distributed privately to friends and valued clients. This copy is copyrighted 2018 and billed as a private edition. I am still stunned that anyo…

what is the basis/reasoning behind 4X9 and 4X8 +4? Is one French and one German based? Desk space? I'm thinking about drawing up my own paper mat and just got to wondering. Thanks!

I need an opinion, or several. I have the legendary Lenormand book by Andy B. I am now looking at The Art of Lenormand Reading: Decoding Powerful Messages by Alexandre Musruck as a suppliment. I like to look at 2 sources when learning something. Does anyone know this book and/or have an opinion on it/ I am as beginner as they come, not even familiar with Tarot. I own Grand Tableau that says Lo Scarabeo? It is italian I think. It looks like the Blue Owl cards. I also have the Gilded Reverie, which I know, from being here, that it gets mixed reviews.

Hello, everyone. In your opinion, in your reading practice, which of the cards - Clover or Bouquet - symbolizes the small pleasures of life? I ask this because I've read different authors who ascribe this meaning to both cards. Could they both represent such idea? If so, what's the difference?

I am interested to see how others do their dailies. Here is how mine have been done but I am wondering where there is room for improvement - the question always makes me wonder that. 1 - shuffle with the question “give me insight into my day, today” as my focus while doing so 2 - read the cut, I use this as an overall influence of the day 3 - deal out three cards and read as something more specific to occur during the day. I read them as storybook format. So does anyone have a way they might read their dailies, keeping in mind my interest in more traditional style of reading? Thanks !

First Time Ever! It was the first time doing my sister and husband back to back. Two GTs. Only we did his with him not there. However, as he could not sleep he came out to have a drink so I got to cover it with him as well to make sure that what she was telling me - was really how he saw it. And a lot of what came up in her reading came up in his and yet I did the rifle shuffle and split the deck in half to put back together from one side to the other. It made no difference it seems. But I suppose if you have been together 40 years and are on the same page - it kind of makes sense. Their readings tied in with my 9 of Square reading as in due to a death, not…

I was wondering for those who have this deck, how do you feel it is for a beginner or for a learner? I feel so drawn to this deck...but I don't read Lenormand and literally don't know the first thing about the system or decks! So just putting some feelers out there :) Not like I don't have enough to learn since I still need to start working with my runes...I have an I Ching deck I need to learn to read with...

J.E. Stretch the guy who made the Stretch Tarot has launched a Kickstarter for his new Lenormand in the same style as the Tarot deck, the Kickstarter is here I was totally into the Stretch Tarot from @Raggydoll raving about it and it came about by Kickstarter and is now sold as a deck from his website that anyone can get. He takes public domain vintage photos and illustrations and creates collages on the cards. I loved the tarot deck for it's diversity, it had real minority representation and diversity in sex and gender and it's a lovely deck. I love the art and style of his work, it's beautifully made. Now he is making a Lenormand wit…

this has to be easier than I'm thinking it. Houses = grand tableau laid out in card order, House 1 is rider, House 36 is Cross. Yes? So if I do a 3 card spread and take houses into account, are the houses always Rider/Clover/Ship? Regardless of how many 3 card spreads I do, with however many different questions? I love the idea of houses creating deeper readings, but coming from tarot maybe that is unnecessary filler? Or absolutely pointless unless a grand layout?

Dear Ones, i just have to say--Rana George's Lenormand deck is the most gorgeous Lenormand deck i have ever seen. It is the jewel of my collection and reads like a dream. It is not only the most gorgeous jewel of a Lenormand deck, it is one of the most gorgeous decks that i have ever had the joy to hold in my hands. The colors, the card stock, the sheer beauty of the paintings, the box and booklet--First Class Plus!!! i had more than 100 Lenormand decks at one time, and this is the topper. The pics or vids online don't begin to capture the beauty... And the price is sooooooo reasonable!

Two weeks ago my cousin wanted me to read about his upcoming increment. He said boss had fleetingly mentioned to him on 6th May (Monday) that he will get the increment letter on 10th May (Friday). So I asked the cards about the situation and I got: Mountain, Woman and Bouquet. At that moment it didn’t make any sense to me, as there was no mention of any lady in the conversations I have had with him hence I decided to drop the reading and I never got back to my cousin on the interpretation (I am sorry for not responding to him and he never asked too, guess we both got busy). Today morning when we spoke, I checked with him on his increment. He said he s…

SINK OR SWIM OR WET THOSE TOES TIME! Some of you out there may be curious yet not confident enough to do one yet as it likely seems rather daunting. GT's were my teething ring, so not one or two cards at a time, but the entire spread. No time like today to dive right in. So, if you are interested use whatever system you want. I am fine with either German or French, but as for Dutch, I think that would be stretching my memory muscles a little bit as it has been a few years now since someone shared what differences she knew. Maybe not traditional either. I am aware of a few systems, but French is my favorite and German is what I would use, for this type of GT. …
