I accidentally came upon Lo Scarabeo's 3 part Encyclopedia (Fundamentals/Experience/Compendium). What attracted me was the artwork and the volume I must say *drool*. I like big books and I cannot lie. ☺️ You can get a glimpse from the inside, but not enough to determine wether it's worth it to spend money on. I can imagine since it's published by a publisher specialised in all things tarot that it's not. I haven't seen it on any lists as recommended either. Does somebody have a copy?

Hey all! I am a book worm of sorts. I am looking for high quality informative books about Tarot that you find are useful for an intermediate/ high level Tarot practitioner. It has to have an E book version ( I can't or rather don't want to wait one month till the book arrives+ its cheaper) I have just finished reading Tarot Beyond the Basics by Anthony Louis and I found it very interesting and informative. Other books that I own include: Tarot Spreads and Layouts by Barbara Moore Tarot Plain and Simple my Anthony Louis Robin Wood Tarot - the book ( since for now this is my go to deck) 21 Ways to Read a Tarot Card by Mary.k Greer The Complete Book …

Have any of you tried Loteria cards? You can find them in most any Hispanic grocery shop. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009R4IW5U/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1 I ask because there were a number of us at AT that worked with them for awhile. The decks are usually under a dollar. Anyway, all that said to say, this might be a interesting book to get

These are some fun, leisurely old-radio-broadcast-style shows. I like to listen to them when I'm puttering around the kitchen. I'll just post a couple of links here and let the people who are interested do what I do - wander the huge backlog of broadcasts and click into what you will. 😎 Here's one with Madame Nadia, one of my favorite readers http://www.blogtalkradio.com/luckymojohoodoorootworkhour/2015/05/17/lucky-mojo-hoodoo-rootwork-hour-rebroadcast-madame-nadia-on-divination-51715 Jon St. Germain's Crystal Silence League Hour has a whole series of Tarot broadcasts. They start with this one, the Fool, and go from there: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/misclmcrad…

I'm new here :). I wanted to know if there are any more Mawang-fans hanging out here? For those of you who don't already know about it, it is a Korean tv series that became really popular in Asia a couple of years ago. It features a psychic woman who can read objects (psychometry) and she is asked to help the police solve some murderers where a tarot card (from Stella's tarot) has been sent to the victims. It is a really well made show and you can watch all episodes with English subtitles for free on YouTube. (Just search for Mawang Lucifer). I have the Stella's tarot and it is one of my absolute favorites, and this show has just made it even better. They talk about taro…

There are a lot of educational and highly informative Tarot tutorial sites and even documentaries in YouTube. In my forays there however, I noticed that there are channels devoted to monthly Tarot readings for all the different Zodiac signs. Some of them can run a fair bit too and you know that great thought and effort has been expended in producing these. These videos are usually provided by readers who want to advertise their services, I think? So yeah, have you watched any of them? What do you think about them? Did you find them accurate?

I saw the book: The Cloisters from Katy Hays. It is a novel with Tarot in it. Did anybody read it? And would you recommend the book? Book description: When Ann Stilwell arrives in New York City, she expects to spend her summer working as a curatorial associate at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Instead, she finds herself assigned to The Cloisters, a gothic museum and garden renowned for its medieval art collection and its group of enigmatic researchers studying the history of divination. Desperate to escape her painful past, Ann is happy to indulge the researchers’ more outlandish theories about the history of fortune telling. But what begins as academic…

I was doing some Googling on Oprah Winfrey the other day and was very surprised to find she is or was selling tarot cards on one of her sites. I do not think that this is a good thing for us tarot people to have Oprah's name involved with the tarot community. The following is just my opinion of new-age guru Oprah Winfrey. Oprah has been behind so many new age scams it's not funny. I'll list them for you. The first one is called A Course In Miracles and I remember in her early tv days she had guest and ACIM teacher Marianne Williamson. Basically, ACIM is a "channeled" teaching of Jesus which talks about love, undoing and oth…

I'm up-to-date with Outlander, after having binge-watched all the seasons in few months! There is a tarot scene in Season 5, Episode 8 "Famous Last Words". This is set in August 1771, and around the middle of the episode, Marsali cast a tarot card for herself, L'amoureux (The Lover). Then, she do a spread for Roger (who has escaped a hanging, three months earlier). Obviously, the first card to be cast is Le Pendu (The Hanged Man)! Roger freaks out and Marsali leaves... She could have say that the card only means that he needs to look at a situation differently, but they never do that in movies/tv series! My first reaction was to note the episode, s…

To all PCS fans who want to know more about her beyond what was explored in the Artwork & Times book included in the Pamela Colman Smith Commemorative Set, US Games is set to publish Pamela Colman Smith: The Untold Story next month. Written by Stuart R. Kaplan with Mary K. Greer, Elizabeth Foley O’Connor and Melinda Boyd Parsons, it is hard-bound, measures 8” x 10.5”, and has a whopping 440 pages with full-color illustrations. As is written in the book's USG site page: I love the RWS, and to say that I'm very curious about this book is an understatement.

The entire game is themed around the Major Arcana and your literally play as the Fool through around 20 stages of phenomenal soundtrack and varied gameplay. It's such an amazing game and only about an hour long if you don't have to repeat too many of the stages. It's like $12 or so and available on most platforms.
