I'm up-to-date with Outlander, after having binge-watched all the seasons in few months! There is a tarot scene in Season 5, Episode 8 "Famous Last Words". This is set in August 1771, and around the middle of the episode, Marsali cast a tarot card for herself, L'amoureux (The Lover). Then, she do a spread for Roger (who has escaped a hanging, three months earlier). Obviously, the first card to be cast is Le Pendu (The Hanged Man)! Roger freaks out and Marsali leaves... There are a lot of educational and highly informative Tarot tutorial sites and even documentaries in YouTube. In my forays there however, I noticed that there are channels devoted to monthly Tarot readings for all the different Zodiac signs. Some of them can run a fair bit too and you know that great thought and effort has been expended in producing these. These videos are usually provided by readers who want to advertise their services, I think? So yeah, have you watched any of them? What do you think about them? Did you find them accurate?

For those of you who don't already know about it, it is a Korean tv series that became really popular in Asia a couple of years ago. Hi, what do people here think of the TTRPGs/solo RPGs that employ tarot cards? I recently played Anamnesis (a journaling game found on itch.io) and enjoyed how tarot cards were integrated into the gameplay. The author included two ways to interpret the cards (which are used to generate writing prompts/events) which I found to be a fun way to study card meanings on a more regular basis. Hello all! I am curious as to whether anyone listens to any tarot podcasts and/or can recommend any? I have a lengthy-ish commute and podcasts work well for me so was wondering whether this might be a way of maximising my available tarot time! :)

In another thread a member suggested to me that I use an app to read Tarot while I live at my parents since they don't allow the cards in their house. I started looking up various apps and kept seeing "AI Tarot reader" And suddenly I wasn't sure if this was a good idea anymore lol. Now I will admit, I am a lot more weary of AI or.. distrusting of it than most people are, and I could absolutely be paranoid. But whether or not AI is good, bad, neutral, it still kind of makes me question like... what makes the right cards come out of a deck? And are we sure a computer app can accurately do the same thing?
