I am a beginner in tarot. I just read through the meanings of all the cards recently, not yet memorized them. What are some good tarot books you recommend for me and why? Thanks for your recommendations!

Recently Leeza Robertson has published her book: Tarot Reversals for Beginners, Five Approaches to Reading Upside-Down Cards. I was wondering if somebody has this book. Is there something new in it? Do you like it? Would you recommend me this book? Thanks.

I’ve read many times on here about members only having a few books to reference when they were learning to read tarot. At the book barn where I picked up several cartomancy books, they also had a 1960’s copy of this book. I went back yesterday to pick it up and I am so glad I did. I have the black Eden Gray’s book and thought it might have been the same so I left it the first time. I won’t be doing that again. This books is a treasure.

Sylvain has just started a wonderful new tarot project: (I don't have a YT channel, I just watch along and scribble in my little notebook). He works through the first 14 books in the Wizard of Oz series, because together they have 365 (very short) chapters; every day, for every chapter, he posts a short video with instructions / prompt. The books are in the public domain, so they are easy to find free, also as audiobooks on Librivox etc - although I may have already ordered the big box set that he is working with as well... 😄 I read a chapter in the evening, then watch the video (they're only around 5 minutes or so…

Greetings, My sister needs a RWS smith app that is good quality. She is only dabbling, so optional purchases only is best. So I received this book as a Christmas gift and I had to share it with you all as it's stunning. Was pleasantly surprised to find this lil guy as the promo card for a box I bought in my local game store. The Tarot must really be that ubiquitous if one can find it in something as mainstream as Magic: the Gathering. Earlier this year, Clarkson Potter released The Magic: the Gathering Oracle Deck. It featured Theros though, which is a planar riff on Ancient Greek mythology. Not my cuppa tea so I skipped it.

And this paragraph pops up! And coincidentally it takes place in France. A group of French locals and. Argentineans searching for themselves, or so they think...Great story so far.

I've been thinking a lot about this book lately and I have it....somewhere (it's in the pole barn, in a box, someplace...) and so, I reordered it. And then it occurred to me that I never really saw anyone talking about the book over the years. Have any of you worked your way completely through the book? Did it help? Or did you just do one or two exercises and call it quits? Your answers won't affect my purchase. That's a done deal. I just wondered if people found it useful?

He uses the Tarot in the series, as well as in the Cluster series, to good effect IMHO. I'd like to hear other opinions on the matter. The conception of the world was unique!

Hopefully I'm posting this in the correct area, tarot does feature in this exhibition, along with plenty of tarot adjacent subjects! This is a PSA for any folk living in, around, or within travelling distance of London. I visited the Saatchi Gallery today to see the exhibition above, and it was fantastic. There's so much to see, and it covers all sorts of interesting subjects such as mythology, folklore, esotericism, science, science fiction... Even my daughter had her attention held for well over an hour, which is saying something! Absolutely well worth the trip and the entrance fee. Link to the exhibition website is here
