Hello friends, how are you? I've had great exchanges here and learned a lot! 🙂
What is your opinion about the wheel representing feelings?
As an object that rotates and can represent velocity, I can think of:
Anxiety, agitation, nervousness, restlessness, unstable feelings, ups and downs, inconsistent feelings, moving on, something not very defined, desire to evolve, feelings that evolve with speed, progress and dynamism... and what else? Any idea?

The Wheel of Fortune is really hard to describe feelings because it's unpredictable and unstable! We just can't know for sure what the feelings are. I think this card can go in these ways.....

- The card represents cycles, like our emotions can change with the lunar cycle. Sometimes people feel more anxious around Full Moons for example. But this represents our emotions and feelings change. One morning you might really like someone but then you might totally be feeling off with them by the evening. The feelings are constantly changing like the wheel of this card. Are you at the top, feeling great or are the bottom, feeling terrible? I always think of this card like a roulette wheel, all we know is the wheel is spinning and changing. This card can represent repeating patterns and cycles in our lives and or our feelings.

- Surprisingly unpredictable feelings. You might feel you really like someone (or they like you) or you might really dislike someone but you didn't expect those feelings. But the wheel can change, how you feel about someone could well change. This reflects the "chance" ideas of this card. Your feelings makes you want to take a chance with them (or them you).

- Unsure about how you feel someone or they feel about you. Perhaps they cannot decide or keep changing with how they think of you.

This is a really tricky card in readings. I am not the greatest fan of clarifier cards but if this came up for feelings I would take a card with it to describe which of these options or feelings are the wheel.

I was thinking about the same. I would add expansion to the list, since Jupiter is the planet associated with the Wheel. Revolution is another word that popped into my head, as in revolutionary or an epiphanic, i.e. related to sudden change of mind due to circumstance.

@Yola

What about up and down feeling, such as a mood disorder?

im from the school of thought that if you’re an intuitive reader, then any card can give you an impression about almost anything.

If there was a strong impression that the wheel card was talking about feelings in this case, or that’s what initially came to you, then trust your gut!

Hey @DanielJUK! How are you? How nice to talk to you!
It's good to know I'm not alone with this difficulty in translating the wheel into feelings 🤭

I think your comparison with a roulette makes A LOT of sense. Especially when it comes to triggers and repetitive patterns.

I hadn't thought of the element of surprise, which might add another dimension to this.
I agree with you about the need, especially in this case, of adding a second card. If it is a dynamic object, the second card can clarify whether the wheel is turning upwards or downwards. Ascendent or descendent movement. Evolving or involuting.
Thank you for your answer, it was very enriching!

Hello @fire cat pickles! I LOVE your astrological insights into each card! And what you said makes a lot of sense. Mainly the circumstantial dilemma of this arcane. Whatever the feelings, they are being influenced by the environment. The key may lie in trying to understand the circumstances in which these feelings are embedded. Brillant, thank you! 🤝

Hi @Emilija ! How are you? Thanks for the reply! 😊
You are right to ratify the importance of intuitive insights. In fact, cards are like chameleons, and can take on an infinity of meanings that may be relevant.

Thank you for this encouragement, it's not always easy for me to put instincts first! And how interesting you mention mood disorder. This opens up for even more exploration. So rich!

For me it's usually about the inevitable cycle of life, both temporaryand eternal. Perhaps an awarenessof mortality; existential angst. It says, 'this too shall pass', and 'don't get too puffed up; pride cometh before a fall'. So hold on, brighter days are ahead; or conversely treasure that moment while you can. I think to identify a specific emotional response I'd need another card.

Hello dear @eurípides! How are you? Thank you for your answer! 😀
You are right! It is very pertinent to remember that the wheel evokes passing feelings that are beyond our control.

Interesting that you mention pride, as I had never connected it with this card. Thank you very much!

I’d say that feelings are changing for the better. I’d look at the other cards to determine what this means. For example in a love reading someone’s feelings developing for the querent or perhaps the querent actually losing feelings for someone toxic.

Hey @Newpath, nice to talk to you!

Very interesting that you mention that. In some references I looked for, some authors say the same thing: a change for the better. I also realized that it is unanimous: all colleagues feel the need to take a second card. Thanks a lot for your answer! 😊

Depending on the question, the answer could be that this matter is a real gamble.
