Was Regular At AT Forum :)

Hi,

 

Was a regular at AT and then they closed down, was heartbroken and suffering from tarot fatigue. Saw a name familiar to me from there, DanielJUK and decided to join. Don't know if TT&M is similar to AT, whether I'll enjoy as much, if many members from there are to be found here, but wouldn't know if don't give it a shot. :)

Hello @-Nalini- welcome to the TT&M Family I was not a member at AT so can not say if we are similar. What I know is, that we have quite a few members who were active at AT. Hope you will like it here 🙂

Welcome to the community @-Nalini- glad you have found us here 😀 Oh no, I have a reputation! nah, glad you saw my name and it got you to join! 🙂

Aeclectic cannot be replaced, it was unique and at a time when forums were popular community spaces and now there are fewer forums out there. But we are a growing community and it is quieter, it's different but it is a forum community again! What is really nice is that we have ex AT members and a whole lot of new people have found us. Also, like yourself, we still have former members finding us every few months, it is remarkable! This year will be 6 years since we started and they ended. Some things and threads have moved over here, other things are totally new.

Many people are around here, some people in different online places and some people vanished forever 😞

 

Thirteen disappeared since the closure but last year joined us here! She hasn't posted yet but she joined us a member and I am hopeful she may post her amazing interpretation insights one day

Sulis I am quite close with still. She and many of the former staff were burnt out by forums. She moderated for over a decade! She very occasionally visits us here, she is a member. She mostly uses instagram and posts her readings and spreads regularly, she has curated quite a popular tarot account there. She is doing really well but finds it hard to be in any online tarot discussion places anymore 🙂

 

WalesWoman, someone else was looking for her for about 3 years ago. She is not a member here with that username and not seen her anywhere since. Some people are in touch privately with other people, so maybe someone is in contact with her but she seems to have disappeared from communities since 😞 .

Thanks DanielJUK! All of them taught us newbies then so much, in fact AT is still reference library for me if practice. Can understand about the burnt out, Great to know that they are doing well. WalesWoman wasn't very regular by the time I had joined; some of her interpretations were excellent, educative & different. Read on Reddit that some people don't feel like being on any tarot forum since AT shut down, as standards were so high there.

Of course you are welcome to start an exchange. This is the tarot area of them here and there is an exchange in each section like the Oracles.

Like AT you can set your own rules for your exchange and we do always ask for feedback. We will chase people who don't give it and there is a window of 3 days to give it. We monitor all readings 🙂

Not I,  I was there a lot from 2002 to 2010, then periodically, hung out in tarot, and spiritually forum.

Once in a while I would answer a your reading if it spoke to me.

 

I did belong to 2 or 3 defunct forums . 

But now this is only forum I go to.

I am heartbroken over AT too. Perhaps because I put so much into it and I knew how the forum and posting worked. 

It's been a long time and I have to learn how to resize pictures and find my way around here. I'm grateful "here" is this forum. 

 

AT was a very simple time. There wasn't as much available on line. Most of us were still sitting at a computer in commitment to the group. 

 

I wish I could just snap a photo and post what I want instantly. 

 

Anyways- we are explorer's , right?

After a terrible breakup I wanted to know what the future help and found AT. The future stopped mattering but absolutely tarot ignorant moi started to learn from scratch! Everyone taught me something and then suddenly everything was gone just like that. Sincerely hope that this becomes a thriving place where we learn and grow again.
