A thread for those who would like to work through their collection of decks, participants choose decks from their collections to work with for the week. Some use one deck, others use two or more. Some combine methods: Tarot, non-tarot (e.g. oracle), playing cards, or any other divinatory method is welcome. All we ask is that you use at least one tarot or oracle deck.

No collection is too large or too small. The only rules we have are the Tarot, Tea & Me Rules; Be respectful of one other. Please join us!

  • Please post with your choice of deck(s) for the week
  • Chat away about your deck, how you're finding it (or not), etc., it's all up to you
  • Participants may either choose to share their readings here in this discussion thread or opt to have their own journal in the Journals Forum and link it here
  • Yet others may even have an offline journal in paper & pencil/pen form

Share as often, as much, or as little as you like. You can drop in and out at anytime—reality and life permitting. New to tarot? Long time reader? Come on in

Welcome back @Bodhiseed!

I always do try to stay hydrated. My natural state is HEAT! Very comfortable most when it's 95F 🙂

This week I'll be using the Delta Enduring Tarot, created and self-published by Bridgette Egan. Along with it, I'll be drawing from the Southernisms Oracle (a deck I created based on sayings I grew up with). Today's draws are the Seer of Oysters (Queen of Cups) and 'Playing Possum:'

We think we know our own life, but what we know is only an edited version, colored by our emotions and narrow vision. How close can we come to the original draft?
—Gregg Krech

The Seer of Oysters (Queen of Cups) allows herself to be emotionally open so that others will trust her compassion and insight. Showing us her pearl, she explains that even the things in life that are hard or irritating can be used to make something beautiful and valuable. We don't need to self-identify with the emotions we are experiencing or imagine they will never change. Playing Possum - an involuntary stress reaction that makes opossums appear dead - cautions us not to try to ignore our feelings but to acknowledge them with kindness rather than self-pity. Instead of trying to change our feelings, we can change our perspective, realizing that clinging to any 'shoulds' or 'shouldn'ts' only prolongs our suffering.

Thank you for the thread @fire cat pickles 🥐

I'm in with Tarot of Tales.

Wow! These cards drew me in online, and I love them even more in person.

I've found my heart...

Hi Everyone! I hope you all are staying cool!

The heat is now slowly creeping into Canada 😞

This week I will do my daily draws from the "Flora and Fauna of Africa" deck

.... and I may have to look up @Madame Squee's Tarot of Tales!

I'm with my beloved, well-worn Morgan Greer deck this week. I loved it at first sight; my first tarot book ever (Spiritual Tarot) was illustrated with the RWS, Morgan Greer and Aquarian decks. It took me over ten years to buy the RWS and Aquarian but the Morgan Greer went straight into my heart.

What a beauty, what clarity, what a kind way of saying tough things.

And seeing these two cool ladies together made my day:

Lady Analysis and Lady Intuition, side by side. May it bode well for the week ahead, I'll certainly need both.

@Nemia, the Morgan Greer has always been like a comfortable, old pair of slippers to me. 😊

@Madame Squee, I love the art of those cards!
