My altar is actually the remnants of The Feast of the Morrigan rit I did on Jan 7th. I felt bad positing it in it's "used" condition, but such is life! I'm glad you found it amusing!

AeonHorus Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 (edited) Just found this thread. Lovely to everyone's space I shall share mine. My Altar is atop, My treasure chests (as my kids call them) in the middle and ... Lady Freyja resides underneath 🙂 Edited February 27, 2020 by AeonHorus
Nemia Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 (edited) I turned my study into a tarotorium - I don't remember who used this expression first on AT, but I adpoted it 😉 At its center is my little shrine to the Black Madonna (in a box to secure it against curious cats). My decks, sorted into boxes as thematic groups, my tarot books (most of which are on my Kindle anyway), and my tarot calendar are all in that room. I'm really happy with it now - it's functional and friendly, and I know where everything is. Edited April 10, 2020 by Nemia
OceansInside Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 (edited) A memento mori. It’s hidden on Imgur let me know if you can see it. I haven’t really been active in forums since the late ‘90s. Just getting my feet wet. February Memento Mori Edited April 23, 2020 by OceansInside

Francis Posted May 2, 2020 Posted May 2, 2020 This is my altar on this moments of confinement and self isolation, hope this will finish soon.
HermitWriter Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Welp, the other day I found one of my childhood toys, and old sort-of-T-Rex dinosaur, definitely pre-Jurassic Park. And then T-Rex found my Swiss 1JJ, and here we are!
ilweran Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 An update, as the display cabinet has changed rooms and been reorganised a bit! There are so many things in there, gifts to me, things that belonged to my grandparents or other relatives, it was just for pretty things but has turned into a cabinet of memories. A right mish mash anyway! And then there's a bit of an altar on top.
ballerina Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 WeIl, I finally got help with putting up a photo of my basic altar. This is it lying fallow in between Sabbats and such. I love seeing everyone else's and just wanted to share mine. I'll post again when I have more going on.
Anastasia Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 The picture is gorgeous, it reminds me of something peaceful~
Ealasaid Enfys Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 (edited) Finally, after 20 years of 'study' I'm in the right headspace and I'm not too perfectionist to create an altar. Where to put it, what to put on it, where do I find the stuff to put on it... It's basic and in need for some bits and bobs, but I'm so happy with it. I just missed Mabon, so I'll be working toward Samhain. Can't wait! Edited October 1, 2020 by Ealasaid Enfys

The tree, the seasonal elements, the simple beauty of the wooden box, very beautiful and individual! Do you change it for every new season?
le_charior Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 (edited) My decks now live in two wooden boxes that I got after my aunt died, she had kept photos in them, they have dividers, so are really handy to organize the decks: And here they are on my bedroom shelf. My most used boxes are on top of the desk organized next to them, in boxes or bags, some with some crystals and stones. And here is my altar on my windowsill. Nana, the supreme mother and creator deity of Dahomey mythology, as worshipped in many religions of the Afro-Caribbean diaspora, symbolizes, to me - the crone energy, she is faced to look outside, to keep negative energies out. Mary with child stands in for mother energy, and the glass statue of the so called "fertility baby" for maiden / child energy. A small buddha figurine has personal meaning for me, the Moomin father stands for caring fatherly energy, and Saint Sebastian, who is there twice, represents queerness, beauty, pain and sensuality. Amber, clear topaz, a glass shard smoothened by the sea, a knitted flower, a walnut, a glow in the dark glass marble, a smoky quartz crystal ball, a snowglobe from Amsterdam, my second home, and beautiful matches with swallows on them complete the ever-changing setup at the moment. Morsoth Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 An update of my altar! And here is the altar without objects. The center has now been updated with a wooden circle with the Awen symbol, acting as a socle for the cauldron:
MissTerry Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 My altar and divination tools. On the altar is my traditional Kau Chim [the bamboo with the red sticks]. My cartomacy poker deck in the back on the blue cloth, the two moons things are my Jiaobei [Chinese moon blocks]. In front of my cards are my chamalongos [the 4 coconut disks], and in the foreground are my vititi nkobo.
DanielJUK Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 thanks for sharing @MissTerry, they are all lovely personal spiritual / mystical objects of worship 🙂

Lady Frejya looks very similar to my own beardie familiar Tina! (Also I apologize if it's tacky to post two times in a row in the same thread, I just got very excited about your dragon)
Nemia Posted December 11, 2022 Posted December 11, 2022 (edited) Oh, so many beautiful, magical spaces. I love this thread. I keep my tarot decks in open cardboard boxes, most of them in crochet bags, in separate groups (that I use for my tarot calendar). It doesn't look fancy or very organized but it's very useful and easy to keep organized. My Black Madonna altar - it has changed a little since I took the picture but the core elements remain the same. I don't know why I can't put the picture right side up - but that's my tarot calendar, updated daily. It's my study and tarotorium, and it's the place where I feel most at home.
