I hope this group helps with giving you some encouragement 🙂 The DOTW Group is a fun and enlightening way to share how your decks can work for others, to highlight new or unique reading techniques and spreads, and perhaps to introduce new decks for other members.
Troll Posted February 23 Posted February 23 I will use Keymaster Tarot .I read by combining Pitisci keyword method with my interest in philosophy and psychology .So what do I do next ?Also I wanted to ask if I like this and want to do it next week can I do it with the same deck ?
Bodhiseed Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Welcome @Troll I learned by reading books and following others who post their readings. But the best way is to learn by doing! We all have our particular ways of reading, and because we're all different, we have slightly different interpretations. But this is okay! 💓
Bodhiseed Posted February 23 Posted February 23 (edited) I'm in this week with the Russian Lubok Tarot paired with the Marseille Oracle - thank you Fire cat! ❤️ Posted 23 hours ago (edited) Russian Lubok Tarot, Three of Pentacles; Marseille Oracle, Hearth We cannot seek achievement for ourselves and forget about progress and prosperity for our community… Our ambitions must be broad enough to include the aspirations and needs of others, for their sakes and for our own. —Cesar Chavez This Three of Pentacles shows three masters in their respective field working together to build a temple. The booklet brings up the term "sobornost" - a term that expresses the need for co-operation between people as an alternative to individualism and socialist collectivism (group goals over individual interests). With each person using the skills and knowledge they have, they work together; what is important is the result that is achieved. Hearth emphasizes that families need the same type of collaboration and solidarity to prosper. Unity with diversity is possible if we aren't consumed with just our own or our group's desires. I got you in with the Keymaster Tarot. You can post your readings here if you like or open a Journal in the Journals Forum. You can use your deck in the Reading Exchange as an alternative. We're very flexible! You can continue with the same deck as long as you like 👍 Libra 58 and I have listed the our decks for months if I recall...
Rachelcat Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Hi everybody! A full house this week! Great to see you all! This week for me will be Jewelry Box Lenoracle Blue Velvet Edition by tarotbyseven. (Still whittling down my list of lenormands yet to be decks of the week.) We purchasers had the choice to include numbers and playing cards, and I chose neither, so just jewelry on velvet. So cool! Extra cards are additional man, additional woman, bee, butterfly (looks like a luna moth to me), and cello. It includes a card with suggested interps for the extras. I think I’ll leave them all in and see what I get. Even though that means maybe too many people cards? I just googled the initials on Mountain. U.O.E.I. stands for Unione Operaia Escursionisti Italiani, Italian Workers’ Hiking Union. So I assume they did a lot of mountain climbing. Fun! And the Fox obviously is after grapes, referring to the sour grapes fable: The fox jumped and jumped but could never reach the grapes. He finally gave up, grumbling “they’re probably sour anyway.” Also, Wednesday will be my last day for a whole year of Seasons of the Witch theme cards. I have to say I don’t really love the Seasons of the Witch oracles. The art is fine, and witchy, but I found that the keywords and phrases on the cards and the info in the booklet usually don’t work together, which is strange. And I really couldn’t connect with them much. Maybe I’m just not witchy enough anymore! So I’ll be saving up the whole set of 8 decks for our Tarot Society holiday gift exchange. (That’s 8 decks off my collection list to make room for the 6 I might or might not have just preordered on the Llewellyn site, which will be making an appearance here whenever they make an appearance at my door.) I’m looking forward to getting back to using established, maybe larger, spreads and pairing oracles and tarots for my weeklies and dailies. In the meantime, a regular interview with a lenormand! What is your most important characteristic? Man The readings are all about people and possibly relationships. What is your strength? Whip The deck doesn’t shy away from conflict Your weakness? Sun In fact, it doesn’t do happiness very well. What can you teach me? Woman It will teach me about myself. How can I learn it? Snake By being clever and a little bit devious. What will be the outcome of our work together? Ship The deck will take me places I haven’t been before. Considering the above, I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not! Ok, we’ll see!

Mi-Shell Posted February 24 Posted February 24 On the 26th it would have been my mom's 110 birthday. The Soprafino Tarot was/ is a traditionin our family. Gran Elizza used to read with one.... Honoring this lineage as part of my own, I will use my Soprafino tarot this week.
