exactally! No criticism meant at all Tagi. I just learned early on to order every deck that came to me, as cards can be missing, and a double card is usually a good reason to check.

Baba Studio's latest offering 'The Mythical Creatures Tarot' arrived today. I went for the standard edition and am not disappointed. It is the usual high quality offering from them and it's stunning in the flesh. Wish I'd had the money to go for the large limited edition.

@FlaxenI am so glad you got your deck and love it!!!!!! Mine is on its way, and I am chomping at the bit to see what it looks like.  I also ordered the Standard Edition for the same reason.  I have never read with pip cards, but I will give it a try with this deck for sure!  The deck looks so regal!

It all came as one package - deck and companion book.

That's the fastest anything has come through customs for me. 

 

One of my two extras was the naked Spiral that's shown above and on her site. If you or @katrinka want to be spoilered, I mean enticed, you can see my other extra card here. 😄

Lots of bells and whistles, and the cards themselves are SUPERB.
I got the same extra cards you did, I'm guessing that's standard? Anyway, an incredible amount of thought and labor went into all of this, and it shows.

No props, no candles, no crystals. Just some of the loot, on the kitchen table.

The embossing was also done by hand. It's not just a decorative squiggle, either, it's the Orphic Egg again.

I've had a few problems with the Mythical Creatures deck. First, the UK postal service 'mislaid' it but thankfully the Baba staff tracked it down for me and it arrived safely this morning. It's really beautiful and I'm really pleased with it but i have 8 cards missing! The sword suit is missing cards  2 to 9 so I'm hoping that I'll be able to get that sorted out soon.

Baba Studio have been very helpful so I have every confidence that I'll soon have a complete deck. It's so weird because I have never had any problems before.

But my Pharos arrived yesterday (Lux Occultatum version) and yes, it's great ! FAB Death card. My extras are Lovers and Fool. Magus, and I got a dinged copy of the book on the side.

This is very embarrassing.

 

I just got the Pharos and also the Darkness of Light.

 

I have here a cream linen bag. I am DEEPLY ashamed to admit that I'm not sure which one it came with... Can anyone shed any light ? I opened them both and put them on the table, went to make coffee and when I returned I was brain dead.

Reading the post above I also checked (anxiously) my deck -the Mythical Creatures Tarot- in case a few cards would have been missing, but it's okay, phew!!

The companion book looks very well done, but I'm not surprised by that. The cold stamping is slight and allows to appreciate the colored drawings.

Otherwise the Little Czech is really cute, I was looking foward to it!!

Both of these decks send attached a cream linen bag, in fact. For Pharos, you can see some pictures further up in this thread (gold snake around blue "egg"/globe design). DoL has a round black and white design printed on the bag.

How ever more embarrassing. There are indeed TWO bags on the table. I was so surprised by seeing one I never thought to pick it up and find the other under it !. Thank you ! The Orphic egg is of course not on my bag; I only bought the BASIC ! That would otherwise have been a clue !

Any chance you could snap a pic of The Rod alternate at some point, @Flaxen?  (I had asked on the FWA fb a week ago, but nothing yet, and it's the only Pharos card I haven't seen.)
