I find this card really outstanding, full of atmosphere. The other cards are nice too, but there is something special about the 6 of swords card.

I was discussing elsewhere with people about decks having a single card which sings to you and then the rest of the deck is very 😐. For this reason I tend to look at a minimum of 1/2 to 2/3 of the deck before I buy. Burned too often!

There's a French online shop, Roi de Coupes, that had it in stock just before Christmas - on their website you can sign up to get notified when they restock!

I don't believe it's collaborative.  It uses the artwork of various artists (already dead).  The Papess is from Remedios Varo and an image search of The Tower took me to Auguste Rodin but that doesn't look like one of his sculptures...not quite his style.

So the sculpture in The Tower card is a Greek depiction of the Kidnapping of Persephone but the gate behind it is Auguste Rodin's Gates of Hell.  Nothing brought up a tarot deck which you've probably looked for already.

 

Is the rest of the deck like that?  A mishmash of collage and borrowed artwork?

It's full of  famous people's art - but has been put together as a whole; all the borders are the same - and some are put together very differently from others. I tried an image search - and all I get are the original artists - even this one !!!! JUST comes up as Van Gogh and ignores the lady in the middle !
