Delta Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 Thanks @Raggydoll! Charming is what I want to go for, among other things 🙂 The cats will stay transparent so. I guess the transparent cats make sense in a way that everything passes but we can still remember. Just like the photo on the wall.

zedekiel Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 @Delta What an absolutely LOVELY 6 of Water! It's beautiful the way the window pane is overlit on the drawing. This piece has a simple charm to it at first glance but when you sit with it you realize there's so much more. It is a perfect fit for that nostalgia that connects with the card!

I'd like this to feel nostalgic and reminiscent, but in a nice cosy way. So not too far from the classic 6 of Cups. Any thoughts? LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! It looks like a professional cartoon from The New Yorker magazine. Please don't change a thing!

It makes the waters seem more mysterious. I love the shade of blue that was used! It was taken by a window, I only have my phone to work with so the contrast will be funny. I can alter the image but I'll need Raggydoll's help again haha!

I can try, but I wonder if it might be better if you took the picture in another lighting, so there is no glare. Can you try? Please send me an email or a PM so we can do this asap. Like Geoxena said, don't disappear on us again! I need you to check the forum and your email until this deadline is over so we have everything we need.
Perenelle Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 Yeah I do mean to be around more. BTW I LOVE the Tower card, the stand-out for me so far. Will go over the other cards.

Perenelle Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 OK so will take advice and try to lighten the fish! Later today I'll try another shot but it may not come out very well, we'll see, I don't have much natural light today. Thanks everyone!

Try a few new shots and let us know how it goes.

So happy it resonates with you (and that you like the window light). It's one of my favourite cards generally and I get nostalgic and sentimental too often, so I really enjoyed the process 🙂 1 hour ago, geoxena said: LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Delta Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 Thanks @Ragydoll! You guys totally made my day (month). 🤗
Nemia Posted April 26, 2020 Posted April 26, 2020 @Delta, I love your card. It's a totally unique style, I love the transparency, it's such a lovely moment but fleeting.... just wonderful and catches the card's meaning perfectly for me. I have loved every single card until now.
joy Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 Just sent in my card and got confirmation the measurement/quality/size all worked, thanks @Raggydoll for your support and help! If there are any cards left, I am happy to do more as I know now I can do without a scanner (not possible due to lock-down, no printing shops are open...). Yeah!

Perenelle Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 (edited) OK so I'm back, here is the raw file which I just emailed to Raggydoll, doe with a good camera so should be better, lightened the fish as much as I could. I'll be back later, depression kis kinda grinding me down today. The contrast has to go up on that upper right-hand corner, obviously. Also I need help with posting an avatar pic...? Dear Perenelle, I don't think anyone can work with this last image you posted. It's very dark and out of focus. Your previous image was better, and just needs someone to tweak the dark area digitally. Unless you can take a better picture with soft bright light and lined up straight. But you only have a couple days.

A cartoon, or maybe the opening credits of a movie. Some of that was due to having a lousy budget, but others took the stripped-down, unfinished look and made it into art. :)
