It seems to be "filling the gaps in the boxes" - why not put each deck in a plastic bag - much quicker ! But heck - he's done about 300 of the 1,100 boxes for backers since March - when will the ones sold in his store get done ? He can do 10 on a good day and 5 on a - not so good day....

I'm SO glad I looked at the Fortuna Tenebris and passed for some reason or another! As a percentage of decks backed, I've gotten burned relatively few times. But it seems like every time has been a three figure support level! 🤬

 

I hope everyone gets everything they ordered and relatively soon!

Is anyone else enamored of the Habetrot Traum Tarot? I think it looks fabulous! I love the aesthetics, and I love all the artists they refer to. I'm extremely tempted right now! Art decks are just up my alley....

But what a pity that they won't say in the booklet which artists influenced each card. Some of them are easy to recognize but others... I don't know how AI works but I'd love to get the full information. That's the only reason I'm still hesitating to back it.

I backed it. But it's not as "astrological to its core" as the creator states. When I asked what system the minors adhere to, the creator's response was that the associations for the minors hadn't been changed. That didn't answer my question... 😠

I’m also very, very tempted by this deck… Some of the cards are just gorgeous. But like you I’m wavering. I’m not really sure why, I think for similar reasons perhaps.

This one caught my eye and reminds me in some way of the Serpent and the Peacock Tarot. The AI part put me on the fence and ultimately I chose to pass.  It is definitely an intriguing deck considering the artists they are curating their database with.

I was quite a bit annoyed to discover that after purchasing the Wisdom of Pooh Tarot on Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rueandvervain/wisdom-of-pooh-tarot?ref=nav_search&result=project&term=wisdom of pooh), I'd have to buy a second deck next year if I want the Tigger character cards included, since the Tigger copyright doesn't expire until 2024. I posted a comment about 3 weeks ago asking if Serefina would offer a discount on the second deck if one had purchased the first one, or if just the Tigger cards could be offered for a nominal price. She hasn't yet responded. Just wondering if anyone else felt the same?

yeah I noticed that about Pooh in the kickstarter. Also they can only use the first Pooh drawings and the first characters and their shapes are different to later designs and the Disney designs.

Really these are public domain images from the first book published.

Yes, I did, but I supported the campaign anyway. I just hope tthe second second edition deck is more reasonably priced since the art work has already been created. It would be great of they offer just the cards with Tigger featured as an option.

Yep, you're naughty.  The only decision I have to make is whether to just back the decks or the whole shebang.  I don't need all of that but it might be fun to have.
