This thread is for those who would like to work through their collection of decks.  Each week we will be picking a new deck to work with exclusively for the week.

Anyone is welcome. Please join us!

In Between Tarot this week - someday I'm going to get all my Before, After, Behind and In Between decks together and see what happens, just for fun.   😛

That would be a whole lot of fun. You could do readings for us...

I'd really like to know what really happened Before, to cause my After. 

 

I'm all sixes and sevens so I'll use my Rogue Tarot, cards from 78 different decks.

I will be trying out my Lost Forest Tarot for the first time. My oracle for the week is the Whispers of the Ocean, and my nature deck is the Green Wood Oracle.

 

@Bodhiseed I love Ascension to Paradise, have mixed mine with the Bird Cards (hard to shuffle now!). The art style really appeals to me, and I love our feathered companions!

I will be looking at the cards of the Adflatus Tarot this week (always reminds me of farts with that name) and the Druid Animal Oracle.

From the Rosetta Tarot, the Seven of Swords; from the Ascension to Paradise deck, Manakin:

          The Seven of Swords card represents futility - the failure to make any progress. This may be because:

 

• We don't have a well-thought-out plan (or we decide to do nothing).
• We keep repeating the same thing over and over while expecting different results.
• We get to an obstacle and go no further.
• We manipulate or intimidate but refuse to compromise or listen to other options.
• We get distracted by things that aren't relevant to what we're trying to accomplish.

The Manakin is comprised of several species, most of which have spectacular courtship rituals. Some have specialized wings that allow them to make buzzing or snapping noises. Other birds have dance moves that rival James Brown - some can even moonwalk. This species (to borrow a lyric from JB) encourages me to "Get up offa that thing" and do something different.

Welcome Moonglow, and nice to see you all - sorry I was so late in updating the list, it was my work weekend and then the rest of the work week took off and ran away with my time.    Hoping everyone is having a great week.  

 

I'm liking the In Between tarot - not exactly what I was expecting.   The "in-between" is between the last card and the next card, which is an interesting take.

For my daily 3 card draw - Card of the day- challenge of the day - advice/ Guide of the day

on Monday I drew

7 of Swords

7 of Pentacles

7 of Wands

On Tuesday I drew 

4 of Swords

4 of Cups 

4 of wands

And today I drew 3 Queens - Q of Cups- Q of Swords- Q of Wands.........

???!!!???

I really like the Animal Oracle to use for picking images out based on how I feel and then working with them. I haven't done this before but with those cards it comes naturally.

Thanks, @Bodhiseed! That is very true! Also, what you wrote about the 7 of Swords.

- There is a huuuuuge nasty and sad obstacle that arrests and blocks any plan the whole extended family would like to proceed on and we are all "hung up because of it.

Sadly it is of course also a very emotional issue and involves "the Queen of the Clan"

Today I had an audience by the 10 of Swords, the Tower and Death........... all 3 welcome and very true!
