I'm not sure if I signed up here ages ago - but I see a few familiar names from long ago forums and I thought I'd sign up again (second time lucky). Looking forward to getting back into a bit of Tarot & Oracle reading when I can and trying to force myself not to buy too many new decks.

I started reading myself a little while ago, mostly for personal reflection but I now find myself wanting to learn more and share what I have learnt with others! My parabolic path through the online tarot community has brought me back here again (I last visited in February), and I think this time I'll buy a membership since almost all of my Aeclectic friends are here. Hopefully as a member I'll be able to share my tarot blog content, which has just passed eight years of almost daily posts (~2,500 of them).

I make handmade paper and books, mostly on esoteric philosophy. I found this site searching for The Book of Aradia, by Jean Van Slyke. I have been wanting to produce an edition of this deck on handmade paper, letterpress printed, and I want to offer royalties. Does anyone know how to contact Jean Van Slyke ?

Hi everyone, I’m new here, though not new to tarot. I’ve been working with the cards for about 20 years, alongside my background in psychology. My approach has always been less about prediction and more about understanding patterns, symbols, and the dialogue between cards and the person asking. I have been exploring my spirituality since early high school, however as I have entered my early 20’s I have started to delve in deeper! I am currently trying to deepen my understanding of tarot in order to become a more proficient reader for myself and others, which is a huge reason I joined this beautiful lil community!! Yep, it's me again---old gabby Grizabella. I've come back to stay this time, but I'll try not to be a nuisance. Tons of things have happened in my life since I was last here, the latest being a broken hip and a hip replacement the first week of April and now recovery, I celebrated a 40th sobriety anniversary in May and now I'm moving again within this same RV park, this time into a place that's permanent. (How many times have I vowed "I'll never move again" because I hate moving, but then went on to move again?) Anyway, it's the same old me, but I'll be happy to socialize here again.

When I was about 16 years old, I developed an interest in the tarot. I got a standard Rider-Waite and played with it a bit. A few year later I got a Medieval Scapini deck and love the imagery. Both decks mostly stayed on my shelf or in drawers, and eventually boxes. I acquired a fairy deck at some point. About ten years ago, my wife bought me a beautiful Golden Tarot box.
