Hi all! I'm AlmostSilent (but my friends call me Meg). As it says in the title, I am from England and am very much a novice. I've been interested in tarot for a very long time but only recently got my first deck. I am ready to start this journey and open to any advice.

Hi friends! It's so nice to meet all of you (preemptively). I have been reading for many years (since I was 16), though I fell out of practice in the past year or two. I've been watching some tarot readings on YouTube and I had a Tarot app on my phone as a way of keeping the system of the cards in the my mind, but something spoke to me recently and said I should try to dig up my old, old Aecletic account. So far, I've learned the kind nature of this cards and how patient they have been with me, but still there are some card combinations I can' quite get. I never know what I'm doing on these forums, but this is (I hope) to introduce myself. Can't see if my name comes up though I guess it does. Anyway, I'm Cilla Conway, the artist behind The Intuitive Tarot (1 and 2), the Devas of Creation, the Byzantine Tarot, and my new deck, The Shimmering Veil Tarot. Hey there, I’m a bloody beginner at reading tarot and struggling a bit for a while now. I just can’t seem to connect with my deck and trying to find out if it’s simply the deck that doesn’t fit me, if I’m blocked because of overthinking (yeah, I do that a lot 🙄) or if I just can’t meet my expectations… Or if maybe tarot isn’t the right thing for me at all... My adoptive mother read the cards but never taught me, but I was always interested in them. Im more of an intuitive reader but will fall back on the traditional when needed. I got my first tarot deck in junior high, and I'm pushing 50 now, but I am still very much a newbie.
