Hi TT&M 👋 Apparently I created my account here in 2017(!), however, I haven't had chance to post much here until now. I mainly collect and read tarot decks, but I own a few other types of card decks too. I recognise lots of familiar names from the Aeclectic forums here and plenty of new ones too 🙂 Look forward to chatting more with you! Laura

Hi all, I've used Tarot cards for many years on and off, relying on the book definitions however since a reading I had last year and some advice, I've taken to intuitive reading. Intuitive reading works a lot better for me and I've become a lot more in-tune with my deck. I've joined the group for more guidance, advice and connection with other Tarot cards readers. Hi everyone! I've been a tarot enthusiast and deck collector for about 6 or so years. I used to be pretty active on the Aeclectic Tarot Forum for the year or so before it closed under the same username. I look forward to talking with everyone on here!

Greetings, I'm Sophie and I'm from the Southern part of the US. Please don't hold that against me. I've been battling the idiotic idiosyncrasies all my life. Needless to say, I'm used to being "different", an outcast, a loner. I've always played well by myself. I purchased my first deck in the late 80's sometime and hauled those cards around with me for decades even though I couldn't read. It just never clicked with me. I lost track of that deck even though I can still see them in my mind. I think their demise was due to a neurotic roommate but that's ok. That was back in the dark ages before the interwebz and we had to go to the library and suffer the scorn of checking o…

Hello TT&M community, So quite some time has passed since the shut down of AT forum and I finally found the courage to register to another tarot community I have been on and off tarot for 7 years but I have not yet had the aha moment when I feel the cards ''speak'' to me (since I normally interpret the cards in more methodical way and not the intuitive way) but I hope I will be able to get back with with the tarot study and find it soon Happy to continue my tarot journey with you guys here!

Hi everybody, very pleased to have found this forum, there's so much interesting and useful stuff being said. I don't think I'm unusual here in that I don't really know anyone IRL who has more than a passing interest in tarot, so it's really lovely to have the opportunity to connect with some like-minded souls - ah the wonders of the internet! I originally became interested in tarot about twenty years ago but for various reasons it sort of disappeared from my life until a few months ago. A real shame as the last few months have shown me that it would have been a phenomenal source of support and guidance over the last two decades, but at least I've finally foun…

Hello, Hey I'm Vanno!! I've been studying tarot for the 2 years and I'm still learning more information. I took a break from my spirituality and it's time for me to comeback out of hiding because there are some major changes on in my life. I thought that this would be a good place to help me to get back intouch and continuing learning.

Really happy to find this forum and see so many active members! My name is Anastasia, I'm from Israel and Tarot and other esoteric topics are my passion since childhood. Mostly read for my self all my life (my friends and family wasn't excited about my strange hobbies )) but lately I came out of the broom closet, started to read for other people and meeting people with same interests. And it was life changing. The best part was finding the teachers of tarot system that is so logical and precise and fits me perfectly - the french system, which is based on the work of Papus (Gérard Encausse) and soon I'm finishing my studies and hope to start read professionally. …

Hello TT&M community, I am really happy that I found you and that my suspicion that there are no active tarot communities out there anymore was WRONG! Somehow, I missed the boat to this place during the last days at AT. I had an account there for years but was not active all of that time ... and one day, it was gone (or so it seemed to me). I have been reading Tarot on and off ever since I was about 13 years old but my studies have become more serious during the last couple of years (that's why I call it "studies" and not "getting the cards out when I'm in trouble"). About three years ago, I also started to read Lenormand and now, both systems …

Fingerguns? idk how many of the younger crowd is around here but hello! You can call me Mar or Aurora, whatever floats your boat. I just recently got into tarot and just today got my first deck! I just finished going through it and I thought I should find a place to just talk about tarot and potentially learn with others. I bought the Everyday Tarot deck, mostly because of it's small size and price and just the aesthetics called out to me. I don't know how well my family will react to seeing these (my grandmother I believe really is not a fan and I rather not have her see these and think I'm doing evil or whatever she'll like to peg it) but I thought they we…

    Started by Marigold,

Warm greetings. You can call me Marigold. I fell in love with the Tarot of Marseilles many many many years ago. It is still my greatest Tarot love, although the Osho Zen, the Oswald Wirth as well as the Lasenic are high up on my list. The latter fills me with wonder and I use it more for contemplation than for readings. I don't read and study as much as I used to. But every now and again, I get drawn back to the cards and their hidden meanings and symbolism and journey through them. I look forward to meeting everyone here in good time.

Hello, I'm new here and would love to introduce myself. I'm going to follow the email template suggestion. -Name: Natalia-Pronouns: Naty-Do you read Tarot or other Card systems?: I read tarot, playing cards, I Ching, I also dabble in water (or vessel) divination. -How long have you been reading if so?: Around 10 years-Where did you find Tarot, Tea, & Me?: Well, this is a roundabout story. Back when Aeclectic was around, I recall when it was announced that the forum would be closing. Many in the community began mobilizing and setting up forums and groups in other places. I joined several of them but never really participated. I guess I needed time to heal from Ae…

Hi guys. No idea how to introduce myself so I thought I'd just give a "time line" of my history with tarot. I have been interested tarot since I was in my early teens and bought my first tarot deck when I was about 13 from my local newsagents at the time (gee that was twenty years ago now!) It was a tarot based on Shakespeare. The newsagents clerk at the time shamed me for buying it "You're too young, you shouldn't be messing with this etc" and I felt really guilted in to not doing anything with it, even though my mum bought the same deck as me. (I was a very consious teen I guess). I didn't feel any connection with the cards, and not being a giant Shakespeare…
