Hello everyone, Mab here. Another asylum seeker from AT. I have already had a good wander round, opened a few doors, nodded at a few people, had a (virtual) cuppa tea, and it seems like a nice place! :)

I was thinking of getting back into Tarot last month since I've been out of practice for years, and then I found out on Facebook that the Aeclectic forums are closing. :'( My user-name there was Sharysa as well, so if any of my now-distant Tarot buddies are here under different names, please feel free to come out of the woodwork. As unfortunate as this is, it might get me into actually reading Tarot again.

Hello there! I've signed up to few new forums and this one looks pretty cool. I'm actually quite happy to flit around and post on several forums and i'll definitely spend some time here. It was a pain to learn the Aeclectic forum was closing down just as I was seriously considering professional tarot reading part time - along with being an Occupational Therapist. Hopefully, I'll be able to pick up some great tips from the wonderful people here (and on the other forums too). Looking forward to some great conversations!

Hello everyone! Finally registering over here in light of the AT closure, really liking the feel of this forum. I was lantana on AT, now with a capital L to fix any l/I confusion. :P

Hi EVERYONE! I am just stumbling in here and am glad to see you all! Thank you to the forum creators for all the work that goes into setting up a new forum! ♥

Hi - I just signed up - and this seems like a wonderful place. I started reading (or at least trying to read) tarot two months ago - so I'm a newbie. But I already LOVE to sit with my cards. My name is Marianne - and I live in Denmark near the sea on the westcoast. English is not my first language - so please feel free to ask if I write something that is not understandable. Can't wait to dive in to this forum. /Marianne

Hi everyone! What a tiring week it has been! After many days of not knowing where to go, trying to post on the Cartomancy forum where a lot of people have migrated, still cheking out new posts on AT and trying to savage everything I could, having problems registering on here... well it finally worked out and I'm here at last! I really like the visual of the forum and I saw that many nice people have joined as well. *Waving hi* to Rose Lalonde and Maenifold who I know are already here and started a new thread for the 'self-made' oracle daily draws! Also *waving* to Little Fang/Obsydian who assisted me when my registration was not working out and who gracefully offere…

Thank you, Littlefang, for having this site! I guess I've been studying Tarot off and on for some 35 years. I figure I know just enough to be dangerous. I used to read at small renfairs but it's been a long while now, and I'm notorious for getting stage fright. I sometimes read for family and friends, but I do wish I had the nerve to go public again, this time for an actual sideline. But at my age (70), who knows? I've been into astrology for even longer, but I haven't properly studied for a long time now. 2 of my similarly-interested friends (coincidentally, my bridesmaids) have said that if you crunch the 3 of us together you'd get 1 competent astrologer. :) I al…

Hi Tarot fam, Signed on and joined here, at Mystic Readings, and at Cartomancy Forum after hearing the news. I was a new member at AT who really loved the community there, and had only been there a month before the community announcement. Looking forward to many healing and enlightening exchanges here, and hoping to continue my Tarot journey with you all! :)

Page of Ghosts (page of ghosts from aeclectic) says hello! With the upheaval going on there's quite a few forums to join, isn't it? This one looks nice and has a familiar layout of different subforums and all :) I was/am for the last 10 days a member of the Deck of the Week group on AT so I wonder where we will end up as that will probably be my main forum I hope. For the meantime I'll have a look around here and see what's going on, I've seen a few familiar names already so that's nice :D To add, since I saw someone else (Carojulie) write about themselves and it seemed like a nicer thing to do for introductions: I live in a larger Scandinavian city and I'm no…

Greetings! This looks like a very warm and friendly place. I began my journey into readings with I-Ching and rune stones, followed by regular cards and Tarot--with a little pendulum work and some color readings thrown in. Tarot seems to me to be the most powerful system. I started with two different RWS decks--radiant and universal--but recently a friend introduced me to the Alchemical Tarot. It's great to meet everybody. Best regards, wheelie

Hello, all! I'm coming from Aeclectic Tarot Forum and checking out the sites! Here's to watching this community grow! EDIT: I've decided to add some things about myself so that people could get to know me better. I'm 28 years old and am from Western New York. I'm married and have 3 fur-babies: a black cat named Osiris, a Siberian Husky named Angel, and an Alaskan Malamute named Titan. I went to school for Social Work and Psychology. I would consider myself an Eclectic Pagan and am interested in all things Pagan/Wiccan, witchcraft, magick, and esoteric. Some of my other interests and hobbies are: books, reading, writing, sociology, religion, human nature, The …

I think most of you know me. I really hope to find here another safe place for me where I will be able to participate and to read for people and to be with people who are as crazy for tarot AS I am. *shyly waves*

Hello, My name is Caroline and my user name Carojulie, I am coming from AT and I am happy to meet new friends here, and also very happy to recognise several names from the tarot community already ! I am still a little in a daze from the moving and all, so I might just sit in a corner for a while untill the dust settles. I am very much looking forward to unpack my suitcases in a cosy place, so I am very happy to be here today :) A few words to introduce myself : I am both a sceptic agnostic and a believer in magic, I love tarot, crystals, herbs and lore, most of all I trust (and beware) the power of words, thoughts and intentions. I work in social services and prof…
