Hi Everybody, I am a witch and tarot reader. I am new here, but have been reading and involved with tarot for 25 or more years. It is a passion and a learning and spiritual tool for me. I am a mother of 3 kids and 4 dogs, and am in a life transition at the moment. I'm always observing and learning, so I tend to lurk more than I post. As of late (like the last four years or so) I have moved into studying classical astrology. I don't do tarot readings so much anymore unless someone begs me to, it creeps me out. I spend the largest bulk of my time drawing tarot cards. I just wanted to say hi and do a 'quick' (we shall see about that ;D) introduction. I started to take an interest in cartomancy at the age of twelve and used regular playing cards until a relative of mine gifted me my very first tarot deck at the age of 14. It was a majors only deck that did not resonate so well with me, but fortunately that only made me more motivated to find a deck that would work for me. It took me quite some time to save enough money to buy a deck, and it also took some searching to find one (this was back in the nineties, pre-internet, in a Scandinavian country where tarot cards was not so common). Just recently, I happened to see something about Derek Walters' Fortune Teller's Mah Jongg deck (no longer available), and something about it made me curious. I subscribed to this just after AT shut down but I haven't been back in to chat. Have to admit, I'm just usually tooooooooo busy. But some really cool stuff has been going on & I'm hoping to share it all over the place. The biggest thing isn't even something I'm selling - my deck got in a MOVIE....I'll post all about it. thanks for taking us in here Little Fang and it's a very cute and well laid out Forum! thanks :) ooh just a tip for all the international folk, you probably need to adjust your timezone in account settings, it was saying my post was posted at 3am :D the forum can detect your timezone off the forum time and then correct itself, eg I am +6 hours from the forum.
