Introductions

Greetings. :) I have been a member of AT since 2005. I will sincerely miss the place. But I also understand that the Wheel turns and things change. It's difficult though, to be sure. This forum certainly helps soften the blow. I pulled a card from the WISDOM OF THE ORACLE deck shortly after learning about the AT shutdown and the card that I pulled was "Neverending Story." I think that's how I will continue to think of AT, as a story that hasn't ended yet, a story that continues to unfold. Hi! I have just started to try and learn to read Tarot, and the very day I decided to find a forum to join is the day the notice went up that the biggest one I found was closing. Reminds me of how almost all my favorite characters in TV shows get killed off at some point. I hope my learning luck improves from here!

I guess I should take the time to finally say hi and tell you all a little about me I love parties and presents, fairy tales (particularly the older more original ones - my grandfather used to read them to me from a big old readers digest book that I still have), mythology, a bit of classical history, fantasy books (I read WAY too much lol), Brian Froud, crystals (I got given a 1 kg bag of mixed tumble stones as an early birthday present from my lovely man :D ), painting, glitter, creating my own skincare, doing massages (and getting them!) among other things. Hi! I'm new and shy. xD I know practically nothing about tarot cards except for the six cards I'm making myself. I posted under the same name in both of those but it's time for a change. ;) I've been reading tarot for 6 years, usually with elemental dignities- that's my jam. You all have warmed my heart with your comments and compliments, and even just joining my forum has made my heart sing. I've been busy at work, and working on the forum during the smallest bits of time off, so I haven't had a chance to keep up with the influx of introductions. I do read them when I'm at work, I just haven't had a moment to reply to each and every one. So I just wanted to thank you all for joining our community here, and I love seeing all these familiar faces pouring in! You make this forum a true home, and it's helped lessen my own shock of the closure of AT.

Good morning from SW Washington USA, AJ before, now AJ-ish My card of the day is the 6 of Wands from the Tarocco Piemontese, moving forward, my choice to huddle on the floorboards, or sit up straight and steer myself...
