Would you change how you read it if it did? I'm asking because I did a reading a couple of days ago and the three of arrows (Greenwood) came up, so I did another reading on the choice I have to make and I knew the three would show up again, and it did. My preferred option doesn't look like it has a great outcome so I did a reading today to get some advice on that. Decided I needed to change decks for this, so got out The Hidden Realm. Does anyone happen to know if there are any matching Tarot and Oracle decks?

Hello Do you think that Tarot de Marseille and Rider Waite have different sets of meanings -specially minor arcana- coming each one from two different schools, French and Anglo-Saxon? IF so, in your opinion what are the main differences between both decks? By the way, I a, also interested in knowing what are the most classical and deep books on Tarot de Marseille, and Rider Waite. In tarot books or videos online, I have yet to see a single person who uses the Hindu shuffle method. Although it takes a while to randomize the cards this way (similar to overhand, or slightly faster) it is very gentle on the cards, and you get a good feel for the cards this way (and i think it looks better than overhand). If you look it up on YouTube you can see it done better than I can explain it. I highly recommend it. I have big hands tough, maybe it is not so easy for people with small hands. What is your favorite method of shuffling?

Friday night and Saturday, I had a sitter each night for a 15 minute reading, very grateful, but each of them didn't really have a question and I tried to help them along with relationships questions, each absolutely refused to go there. Hello As you know different Tarot Schools assign different meanings for their decks. In this sense, do you interprete cards differently -at least, minor arcana- if you use a Tarot de Marseille deck, or a Rider Waite?

Back on AT we had some entertaining discussions about how to handle the shuffling, cutting and dealing of the deck. Other than resorting to pulling cards from a "fan" (where's the mystical charm in that?), I've always found the traditional methods too restrictive as a representation of the the entire deck. I've decide to jump on the bullet journal bandwagon! So I bought myself an unlined art journal (couldn't find any cheap dot grid ones), a selection of different highlighters, some random pretty stickers and some felt tips. But now I'm stuck! I have no idea what kind of stuff I could be putting in this thing 😂 I've gotten as far as making the cover pretty (thanks to some copper contact paper and a pretty sticker), a title page (thanks new highlighters and pretty stickers!), an index/contents page and a star chart (not entirely sure why but why not?). Hi 👋 I hope I’m posting to the correct forum... When you ask your deck for clarification regarding the cards in your spread, how do you do so? Do you shuffle and cut the deck again? I'm just learning a bit about the enneagram and not sure how I feel about it. Multiple tests can't seem to determine whether I am a 5 or a 9 or a 4...i get and even number of answers for each LOL. anyhow, found this book (a full chapter is available on her website (http://www.enneagramdimensions.net/tarot.htm) and I found it extremely interesting, notwithstanding my lack of knowledge about the enneagram) and wondered if any of you had read it? I've never been very happy with the usual methods for determining the timing of events with tarot. The old Wands/Cups/Swords/Pentacles interpretation of days/weeks/months/years frequently won't pass the "giggle test." ("What, I won't hear back about my job interview until five years from now?") Nisaba back on AT had a method that was better but it was still too involved for me, and my own timing spreads aren't any better. I've always envisioned a one-card or three-card pull that can give clear impressions of when something is likely to happen. I have tried a few decks along with their little white books. The RWS is nice, but maybe not my thing. I like the clear images on the Swiss deck, but the readings have been .....strange. I have also tried the Scarabeo "Ancient Italian" deck, which I understand is similar to the Soprafino. I liked the deck when I first opened it, but was a bit underwhelmed by all the typos in the English translation in the book at first (e.g. "the fool" as trump 1 is actually the Magician, thankfully I know a thing or two about the other languages in the book too). I also noticed that the book gives reverse interpretations of only the Major Arcana, which I guess is OK in a pip deck. …

What is a sunburst deck? Besides a deck name I made up, it is a deck with bright, bold colours, where every card isn't just illuminated, they seem to radiate their own light. I'm very particular about the decks I buy, and am certainly drawn to illustrated decks over photoshop collage or rendered decks for the most part. I also trend towards modern art style over the more traditional like the rws or tdm wood cut look. I was looking at the Lili White originally for this style but I have since learned it has the near unforgivable sin of copyright marks. Any suggestions to help me are largely appreciated! 🙂

Hi there! I am interested to know if there is a system of "cross referencing" pip cards, so that the suits mean general things/topics, and then the numbers and face cards also have general meaning. Let's say coins are associated with resources/money and aces are associated with luck or things turning for the better - then the meaning of ace of coins gives itself. 🙂

Hi everyone! I recently became interested in the symbols and meanings (and also games) of tarot cards. I particularly like the Italian and Swiss types. My interest in history and art has helped me a bit; for instance the Death card to me looked immediately like a renaissance “memento mori” (remember death will come to us all, how would that affect your actions today?). For a while I've had a feeling that I need to downsize my belongings. I'm fed up of living in a overfull, cluttered, messy house and would like generally to reduce the amount of stuff that I own. Not done too badly so far I think, over the last 18 months I'd say I've got rid of six black bags of clothes, and probably another six of random junk, all happily off to the charity shop. Still loads to do though, and two areas are problematic. Books and tarot decks. In my head it's easy. I can get rid of this book, that deck. Most every day I shuffle addictively and pull one card out in the morning, and one in the evening just to practice the meanings. Yes, I'll look up what I have about them in my notes and various resources. Well, today, both times and once last night, I pulled up the Hermit. I was reading something in a book about him last night, wrote a note to myself to go back over two particular paragraphs on a bookmark and naturally forgot about it. My guess is they do. I am mostly sticking with decks based on Rider Waite, but purchased the Goddess Deck today, and after perusing it I am struck that a number of the cards would give a different reading than straight RWS.

Can 4oc be about 'Offer what is hard/difficult to refuse' or 'someone/something tease your mind and it will be so long in the air until you succumb it?' or 'can't get it/him/her out of my mind'?
