As I am learning and trying the cards on anyone, like clothing, I suddenly thought that my Stafford was a textbook example of the Knight of Wands. He's charming, athletic, totally self-confident and fearless, always ready for adventures, will tackle what others avoid, rises to any challenge and is a loyal friend. On the negative side, he's hot-tempered, doesn't stop to think before acting, has self-control issues and too ready for a fight (of course he's not allowed to fight). I am still thinking about cats, they aren't as easy for me, but I think it will be a useful exercise for me to figure their cards. What about yours?

I asked about the outcome of a potential course of action should I run with it, and got the Wheel of Fortune. I don't use reversals, but the first thing that drew my eye when I turned over the card was the snake on the left-hand side. I did a bit of research, discovered that the snake represents a Greek god Typhon (a sort of monster-deity) and something about salt and destruction and spirit becoming material. So I recently bought a new deck that I absolutely adore (the Ethereal Visions Illuminated Tarot) and have done a few readings with it so far. But what I really want to know is what else I can do with it to get to know it better besides reading the LWB cover to cover and feeling the energy of it as I look over and bond with the deck and it's gorgeous imagery.

Hey everyone! I recently got a new deck, The Harmony Tarot, and I think it is so beautiful. It seems like a great fit for me as it's for growth and healing, something I'm working on at the moment. My problem is I am not connecting to this deck at all, an issue i've never had before. My last two decks i've picked up, starting reading, and it all made sense. With this one my readings just feels jumbled and don't quite make sense. I'm really not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any advice? 🙂

I'm enough of a novice that I mostly stick to one-card readings, but I realize this limits what the cards can tell me. However, when I pull multi-card spreads, I often struggle to assemble them into a cogent narrative the way more experienced readers do. It's partly that I still often have to reach for a reference book to remind myself of card meanings, but it's also that I'm often unclear on how the cards influence each other and thus alter each other's meanings. Hello guys, I was contemplating about judgement card, I used tarot draconis(pic attached below). I got the message from higher sphere,that this card is about "no matter what happens you are on your way". When you look into this card (the depiction is quite different as RW), I see a woman which plays on harp and she does not care what is around. It seems that there is a huge turmoil behind her, maybe some earthquake, noise, dragons grind fire out, but she does not stop to play, she follows what she wants. Hello, I'm looking for the author/title of a tarot book I once read and I was hoping someone here could help me. In the introduction, the author (a professional Tarot reader) describes having done a kind of scientific test. Hey So, I recently found out a reader I know removes the death card from each deck she owns and throws it away...because of her own superstitions. I've never purchased a reading from her, this was something she told me she did and I am glad that I never purchased a reading from her...I just personally feel like id be cheated...and that she lets her own personal feelings and beliefs interfere with a reading. Hiya, I know the title is weird but its a couple questions combined into one im afraid. Ive been working with this deck since I began, its my first ever deck actually, and I've had a decent amount of success contacting spirits with it but this has been limited to family members and friends/family of friends. It seems like I'm seeing the "Fall Out Method" or "Jumpers" of getting cards for a reading a lot lately, and it got me wondering a few things... If you use this method: - why do you use this method? - how do you know you aren't just shuffling the cards sloppily? - does it not confuse the reading to have an unknown quantity of cards at each position? I’ve recently been studying Melanie Marquis’ Spellcaster’s Tarot and find it interesting that she corresponds the Earth element with health, but not the Water element. Ancient oracle sites, particularly temples dedicated to the healing gods Asclepius and Amphiaraus, were invariably associated with water, typically as a life-force representation of healing. Other tarot masters have likewise associated the Water element with healing (Tracy Porter to cite just one example). Kind of struck my curiosity cord to inquire how others associate health and healing in the tarotsphere?
