This deck is friggin gorgeous ): but the shipping is crazy steep for me, since I live in Asia ): So people who can afford this, please try to support the artist <3 I'm hoping she'd put it up on her Etsy once the KS is a success hahaha.

For anyone interested in fine art, collage, or pip decks, there is a beautiful project on Kickstarter called The Fox's Wedding Tarot that might be worth your support. (I'm not affiliated with the project in any way--just a fan of the art.) This is the creator's first deck, and he has a somewhat high funding goal, but he also seems quite competent in executing the project. Plus, the basic deck is only 30 USD--how refreshing in an era of $50+ decks! Let's help him reach his goal!

I tend to use certain decks for this upcoming season. Mostly my darker decks because I feel they have a more earthy tone. For example Tarot of the Vampyres, Deviant Moon, Tarot of Bones and Mary El among others. Does anyone else like to use different decks like this?

Being a bit computer nerdy (yes, I admit it) I decided to create an Access database for my Tarot decks. As part of that, I have data fields for creator, artist, publisher, year, country of manufacture, etc. All working well until this "Classic Tarot" learning deck (pics below). Quite an excellent learning deck in my opinion, but rather oddly there is no copyright, no year of publication, no mention of who published it, nothing like that at all. Not on the cards, not on the box, not in the LWB that came with it. And perhaps even more oddly, internet searches have been similarly fruitless. I purchased it too long ago to remember where, so I'm rather at a loss here. A…

Mystical Tarot is listed some places as by Luigi Costa, others as Giuliano Costa. Everything else looks identical. The Luigi ones for an English market, but I thought they were all multi lingual by that company. I just ordered the less expensive one, but is there any difference? Thanks!

I know, I know, tarot deck choices are just for you and you alone, but seriously, there is so much wonderful art, it is so hard to choose! I am wondering if any of you have had experience with these deck as to how they read, comparison to the RWS meanings, and your general reviews. These are the choices I am currently looking at: The Star Tarot (2017) Ostara Tarot (2017) Green Witch Tarot (2003) Are there any other decks that you like better which you might suggest? I am currently using the Shadowscapes Tarot and loving it! Thanks!

There was a deck over ten years ago...it had beautiful computer generated scenes. The artwork was not as fluid as Tarot of the Elves, more basic. I remember the people as being like robots or general models of people without specific features. The cards were pretty small, too small for the artwork and I think it had a lot of color-coded dots and so forth in the borders. It was from a major publisher, but never a very popular deck. I looked at the "computer generated" list on Aeclectic and didn't see it. If anyone can remember what this deck was called I would like to know. Thank you!

This is a question I end up asking myself as I watch YouTube videos. There are so many great videos on 'first impressions" and flip-throughs but I end up wondering - but does how does it read? Do the cards allow you to look into the image and bring out more than what you'd get on face value? Of course the spread, surrounding cards and intuition help explore different meanings - but generally "does this deck speak". I was wondering if you'd like to share some of your decks that always have something to say. (Edited to add: please feel free to include Oracle decks along with Tarot)

I've never heard of this artist before, but a feature on this deck crossed my dash today and I just had to share https://www.zekeslunchbox.com/zekes-arcana/ This is not at ALL my usual style, but I kind of love it??? Reminiscent of the Tarot of the Silicon Dawn, maybe, which is a dear favourite of mine. Only more PINK. (Not a bad thing.) Looks like this is a very long way from completion, but I like where it's going!

Hello, everyone What was your love at first sight deck? Mine was the Tarot of Mermaids. The background colors are so beautiful , and I love the way the artwork just seems to flow - it's the perfect deck for a Pisces like me! http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/mermaids/

Hi guys, I was watching a video on Youtube, and like the deck that two of the cards featured was pulled from but there was no identification. Does anyone recognize the deck to which these two cards belong? 10 OF CUPS 4 OF SWORDS

Vindur Deck 2nd Ed. is now up for presale, for anyone who wanted this one: https://www.thevindurdeck.com/products/copy-of-the-vindur-deck-edition-1 (The URI says Edition 1 but the actual sale is for 'v2' as they call it.)

Currently the only deck I have is the Pagan Cats Tarot, which I adore, but I would like to begin expanding my collection and want to start with either the original RWS, or maybe the Morgan Greer tarot which I think is very beautiful. Both of them appeal to me and I want to own both eventually, I just need to choose which one first! The original RWS will be very helpful for study while I think the Morgan Greer will be better for connecting with and doing readings for myself because of the intimate feeling of the artwork. Although I'm already very connected with my Pagan Cats deck, so perhaps I can keep relying on that one for now and focus on studying the original to soak …

@stephanelli suggested this might make its own topic from discussion on another thread. It's been on my mind lately. Curious what others think and feel around this. We jokingly have the tarot enabling thread and de-enabling thread. But the fact is ... we come on this forum, or social media, or YouTubes, and see decks, desire them, buy them. When I lived in a small house I was a minimalist and pretty judgy about deck collecting. Prolly it was jealousy. I had limited space and budget. Over the course of 7 months my life utterly transformed and I suddenly had a big house and money. My collection blossomed into 57 Tarots, 9 Oracle…

Is anyone following Marie White's blog about her 2nd edition of the Mary-El https://tarotsmyth.wordpress.com/)? She has changed a few cards. For example: here is the old and new Hierophant. She has also posted her new 3 of Swords, Judgment, HP. I pre-ordered a copy and it is scheduled to arrive on May 28.

What is your favorite in-print Rider Waite Smith deck with Smith's artwork? I just need a few basic Rider Waites with Pamela's art that handle well, nothing fancy. I love my Pamela Coleman Smith centennial edition but the card stock, while lovely, is pretty stiff, and I find it doesn't handle smoothly when I'm shuffling with my eyes closed. It takes a long time to break in. I have an Original RW from 1993, the Belgian printing, which I really like. Good card stock, good images, pretty backs (roses and lilies, not that hideous plaid!). But it is really old and just feels dirty. I bought a new edition of this deck (rose and lily) but the colors don't …

I recently purchased the light visions tarot deck (third edition I believe) and it has a matte finish, it is incredibly difficult to shuffle. The cards keep sticking together and not in the way that glossy cards stick together.. I mean it's like the cards have been glued, it's so difficult to pry them apart sometimes. Has anyone had tarot cards like this before? Will they get easier to shuffle with time? I really like them but I wish I could shuffle them properly.

what do y’all think of this deck?

So I had thought the London Lore Tarot had only one print run that was long gone, but I was pleasantly surprised to see it looks like the deck is still available! It seems to be in stock for purchase here. It's been a while but I lived in London for a couple of years, so I love the idea of this deck.

Can you guys suggest some nice decks that incorporate modern technology in their imagery? I have the Tarot of the Silicon Dawn and that's one of my favorite aspects of it. Also I remember seeing an adorable robot-themed tarot somewhere on the internet but, of course, I can't find it anymore! Thanks for your help!

The website says "New edition - coming soon" 😊 . They have apparently altered the dimensions and the website says it will be sold in a box (I am thinking tuck box?). http://www.ancientegyptiantarot.co.uk/?fbclid=IwAR2dO1FzlvX_CDFSzyklJZyJ7tX0L46zYEzMIO4dWkCDFHYjomG9_qzCkjY It will apparently be published by Green Man Press This OOP deck has fetched some ridiculous prices and so this is certainly good news!
