Hi, guys! (I haven't been here in ages, but I've lately been getting slowly back into deck collection, and this deck summoned me. Hope you're all doing well!) This is Les Fleurs du Mal tarot listed at Tarot Garden. Does anyone have any information about this deck? The Tarot Garden has no information on the artist, no information at all other than this one photo. There's absolutely nothing I can find about it online, apart from a listing at Adam McLean's website that says it's a Taiwanese deck. Does anyone know what has happened to Jeri Totten? I got her Distant Past Tarot late last year and was looking forward to her new one (can’t recall the name) but her website is closed and so is her Etsy shop. I hope she is okay.

This is my first post so please let me know if I'm violating any rules or doing something wrong so I can fix it ^-^ I'm pretty new to tarot and I've only had my deck for a few months now. On top of it being my first deck, it was also a gift from my mother so I'm pretty attached to it. The recent Full Moon spread got me thinking: I have some decks which excel at predictive readings and others which are useless for predictive reading but lend themselves to reflection and exploring a spiritual or pschological theme. I understand that spreads aren't always this rigidly defined ... many spreads are a bit of both ... but I DO find there is a difference in the deck I reach for depending on my primary motivation (i.e. I want to know what's going to happen vs I actively DON'T want to know what's going to happen). We are approaching the Autumn Equinox here, the nights are drawing in and it's cooler outside. We are starting to see mists and wet grass in the mornings, trees are losing their leaves and mushrooms have started appearing. What do you think of majors-only Tarot decks? Which are your favorites? How many do you have in your collection, and how often do you use them? I know that there are some Tarot books that focus solely on the majors, but I wonder how decks like these are often used by my fellow readers. I know that they're useful for meditation and pathworking. I believe that there are also some spreads in which only majors are used.

Hi everyone. I am traveling to Mexico in a few weeks and suddenly realised its a good place to get Mayan/Aztec cards. ;) I know of the "Mayan Tarot" deck but I'd love to know if anyone knows of a traditional style deck I could get in the Yucatan area. For me, Rider-Waite is what I call traditional as many modern decks are based on the images and interpretations of those images. So what I'd like is the Mexican version of a traditional deck, one which modern decks are based on. Any advise from you lovely, worldly tarot lovers?

I personally like oracle cards . It just gives me way more clarity and guidance for the future as well. Oracle is much more simpler than the tarot. I guess.

Today I received the Asherah, which has been in progress for many years. It's influenced by the Thoth, but has kept some Golden Dawn attributes (like Judgement as card 20 instead of Aeon). Does its own thing in places too - like female Hermit and Chariotess. I like her description of Empress and Emperor as solar feminine and masculine, Priestess and Hierophant as lunar feminine and masculine. Came quickly from Game Crafter. Nice stock for me; it's thin and whippy, but feels durable and... I guess supple is the word. The not-so-white lwb that comes with it has good info. Does anyone have a gothic styled one? I have a deck that could be sort of seen as such, it’s the Victoria Frances Favole one. The artwork very beautiful although the deck is confusing.

Does anyone know the date of publication of the edition of this Tarot that has the coloured backs? The one that was re-edited because of the mix-up regarding one of the Majors? If I wanted to order it form Amazon.ca, would this one be the right one to order? I would also love some feedback about this Tarot because I know it is quite different from the tradition RWT scheme. My travel deck would likely be the pocket Morgan Greer because it's small and has a tin and a classic. The PCS Commemorative is my all time fav deck, followed by the Anna. K, but when I need to grab a deck to go with me, the Morgan Greer in a tin is handy.

So the Urban Outfitters have their very own exclusive version of the Circo tarot that comes in a kit with a book. They call it “How to deal”. The deck has been slightly modified and they have changed 10 cards to make it more suitable for a teenage market (I believe they removed some nudity and made some of the typically ‘scary’ cards gentler in their depictions). The cardstock is supposedly very good. I have the indie version and I did not like that cardstock at all. It is glossy and chipped almost straight away. This one is supposed to be more matte.
