Tarot Decks

just find out about this on on DA; http://fav.me/dczsk13 it seems to be English book & Tarot deck, but link for preorders seem fishy? (there is email & youtube!;D) Anyone know about this?:) All I know it's Awesome Artist I watch on DA & luv his Tarot art!;D

I found another deck that I was interested in enough to support the campaign. This one is Le Beau Monde Tarot, described as a "lady-centric Regency tarot deck, based on the archetypes in romance novels - Dowager, Duchess, Bluestocking, and Debutante." It looks like a pretty deck, and great for fans of Jane Austen.

I don’t know any details yet but this was shared in the ‘For love of cards’ Facebook group. I personally hope the artist reworks some of the cards. I sold my deck because there were several cards that just did not appeal to me or even seem to go with the rest of the deck. They were so sketchy, and well.. not nearly as pretty as the rest. (You can for instance compare the emperor/war with the empress and you get what I mean. And just naming the emperor ‘war’... :o )

I got Poppy Palin's new deck, The Everyday Enchantment Tarot, for my birthday. This deck is a masterpiece, not only for Poppy but for the Tarot world as a whole. The cards are exquisite, even on the backs. The card stock is beautifully limber but sturdy. If I had a problem with anything, it would be that the deck is very large but the deck is so phenomenal that I'm just working with it anyway. There's the old "throw away the book" nonsense but you definitely do NOT want to do anything with the book except read it cover-to-cover. Read it more than once in fact. I just purchased the Dreams of Gaia Tarot The artwork is gorgeous and stunning. The new system that it has will take some time getting used to. I do see nods to the RWS in various cards. Anyone else here use this deck? How well does this new system read? Do you use it as a tarot deck or oracle deck? I would like to hear about your experiences and thoughts on this deck.

Is there a list or does a family member here have a list of OOP decks. If so that would be beneficial to the forum. Please post them, thanks This would be great to also print off, so if your out and about and your a collector, you can snatch it.

My snuffaluffagus spoiled me today, gifted me with The Archeon tarot. <3 <3 I have wanted this deck for yrs. It's now in my pretty little hands X-D stoked. I will have many nights and days enjoying this deck. The photoshopping very well done, you don't see the cropping, cutting, pasting, edge lines of the symbols in the layering of the images, like you see in a lot of the cgi/photo graphic decks being published. ie: Tarot Apokalpsis and the illuminati tarot. Does anyone here still used this deck, if so what are your thoughts on this deck.

Hi guys, I’m very new to all of this!! So please help me out. I’m dating a girl I really care about and she’s expressed on a number of occasions that she would love her own tarot cards. She’s very conscious and spiritual, I am starting to dip my toes in but I’m really inexperienced. I want to buy her, her first tarot cards I just have no idea what I’m doing or where to start. Ideally I would like the pack to be special/ beautiful. I’m not sure if that’s a thing (please excuse any ignorance on my part). Advice and suggestions are all so welcome! Thanks in advance.

I know we all talk about decks we're looking at, anxious to see come out, BUT what about the darlings that didn't work out? I really don't like clutter and something I don't like, don't want to use becomes clutter, no matter how pretty. So how many decks are you saying bye bye! to in 2019? For me, TWO.

Is there such a deck? I keep envisioning the Major Arcana as one big painting following the path of the Fool. Am looking for a deck if you lay out all the MA cards on a table in, let's say, three or four rows, they will form one big picture in front of you. Just curious!

Decks you couldn't WAIT to get, then they either didn't appeal to read with or you just kind of went...Meh!... DECKS you didn't eventually go COLD on, decks you never warmed up to once you got them. Last year or so, Mystical Tarot. Fun, kind of reminded me a bit of Dali artwork. Some interesting details. But in the end...I just don't reach for it like my other tarot decks. So, I had some Amazon vouchers and had been going to buy my son's birthday present with them, but the price went up and I bought it elsewhere. So now I'm thinking I can buy something for myself. There's a book I'm definitely getting, but I could also get a tarot or oracle deck. I have a friend who wants to get into tarot and wants an Angel deck. I do not have any Angel Tarot decks, but want to point her in the right direction of a good Angel Tarot deck for beginners. If there is one with a good companion book all the better. I would appreciate any help you guys could provide me on this.

I was just perusing Kickstarter, and it looks like MANY of the deck campaigns currently underway are likely to fail. Of course, there are many wildly successful campaigns as well...but I wondered whether people think Kickstarter has become oversaturated with tarot decks? That there are just too many decks and not enough people interested in funding them? I know some people have also mentioned their wariness of crowdfunding platforms...so maybe these creators could reach a greater audience by taking a different approach to funding their decks?

Can anyone recommend some decks that are christian-based?

Now obviously one deck will read for one person one way and another another way, but I want to expand my wish list for when I can start buying again. Your job is to convince me to buy one of your favorite decks, or two or three. I like most anything really, but I would prefer to stay away from decks that based on a belief system. Other than that, I have such a wide variety of likes it is hard to pinpoint anything that would make me not want to buy a deck.

I am encountering a problem with me deck of cards from the Tarot of Mermaids Deck Cards. There are flaking or shedding at the sides of the cards over time as i shuffle them and use them with people whom i read. I have tried to clean them over, but the marks appears once again. Have anyone encountered this problem with this deck or cards, or other tarot or oracle decks?
