It seems I've devised a plan for 2026. My absolutely top desired deck is The Tarot of Echoes by Ana Tourian . Picture for reference. It is limited to 750, out of print, and was supposed to go to Mass Market, first in 2024, and now by this year. I'm not holding my breath as publishers are a fickle lot and anything can change. It's already October on that note. So I've devised a realistic way to acquire a used copy, which currently run about $350 on eBay when one appears. I am going to continue my goal of eating healthier. Each day I do not buy junk food of any kind, I will put $1 into a fund. At the end of the year, If I have maintained a stron…

This is one I had considered sometime last year, but waited on until the first edition was sold out: www.wayfarertarot.com. More card images can be seen here: https://www.margaretshipmanart.com/illustration. Stay on that page and it will scroll through card images. I just saw they've done another limited edition print run, and they have a few decks left of this run in their Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/listing/568225547/2018-wayfarer-tarot-limited-edition-deck. This is all in preparation for a larger print run they plan to do late next year. There's something about this deck that draws me. It feels very...maybe honest is the word? The majors are the minors seem…

Hello everyone! Hope you're all well. Not sure if I am in the minority, but I actually like tarot cards that are used for both reading and gaming. There is symbolism there too (e.g. even the Kings could be beaten by Death or by the Judgement, and the Fool does not follow the conventional rules). I don't do gaming often though, and I usually only do readings for myself and my wife. Anyway, I got interested in the "Piedmontese" decks, and I was wondering if anyone has some of these that they are especially happy with? I especially like the look of this one, but I could not find it anywhere. Does anyone know where to look for this? I know that there are othe…

Does anyone know of a tarot deck database/resource that sorts decks by publication date? I am interested in familiarizing myself with what decks have come out each year (at least starting with the year 2000, if not before). Thank you so much to anyone who can help! 😁

I bought this deck by Barbra Moore (author) and Jessica Roux (artist) in a Llewellyn sale a couple of months ago, but I only just tonight got around to entering it into my spreadsheet, which meant taking a GOOD 👀 at it. How interesting that there are TdM touches added to what's basically RWS imagery! The cards are a little thin for my taste, but they are borderless. The strangest thing to me is that they gilded the pages of the book. I have NEVER had to crack a book before, only decks! I literally have had to separate more than one page from its preceding and/or following page. Bizarre that they didn't test that out before doing it to all of the books! I'm com…

Hello, Does anyone have a recent printing of the Hanson Roberts who can comment on print quality? I got a sealed "old" printed in Belgium deck thinking Belgium is always better than Italy, and it's a real disappointment. Several cards are printed out of focus, including The Star, the ace of cups, seven of cups and 4-5-6 of wands. Is anyone able to comment on the printings currently for sale? Better yet, can you take nice close up pictures or scans? Thanks to anyone who can help.

I know nothing about this except the attached picture, and that it is supposed to be released in June 2018. This one won't be for me...I'm not a big TV person so I know a lot of the references will be lost on me. (I already don't know two of the shows in this picture!) But I'm sure a lot of people will love this!

I have a follow up question for GreatDane's thread https://www.thetarotforum.com/tarot-decks/past-the-speed-limit-then-hitting-the-braikes!-decks/msg71203/?topicseen#new where the questions was if you have any decks that you utterly fell in love with when you saw them advertised, but then when you finally had them in your hands, did not really got on with. Your HIT THE BREAK decks. No zing,no spark, no connection. I have at least one, the Tarot of the Zirkus Magi, utterly loved it when I saw it online, still loved it in the Fool's Dog app, read the book about the Clown, when it arrived I flipped through the cards and was "meh". I did a few daily draws, it just did no…

I was sure I posted a thread about the Stretch years ago but maybe not, cannot find by searching. I wanted to make a deck thread about the Stretch decks 🙂 Joseph Stretch made the collage style Stretch Tarot 6 years ago in 2016, published and put all it together himself at home A few years ago he followed it up with his J.E Stretch Lenormand Deck with the same art style Here is the tarot in our library.... He sells his decks from his own shop but had Kickstarters with various extras to sell each deck at first. The decks are created by collages of vintage images and some of his own art work and a variety of methods ha…

I see that the Hexen 5.0 is about to come out and it appears to be right down my alley, but so does the Hexen 2.0, which was reprinted last year. What I want to know is how those who have the 2.0 have found using the deck? It's suggested for group readings, and I think this would be a great way to discuss what's going on in the world and the machinations behind what we see (as opposed to what they're doing that we don't and their motivations - or whose motivations). Any feedback on deck use or anything, really, is welcome. They're quite expensive and I'd like to get both as I'm into political economy and political ecology, but that hasn…

I’m looking for inspiration and would love to hear about any decks (tarot or oracles) where the artwork is rendered in ink. It’s fine if the artist added some color, but I want the art to be predominantly ink and the shading to be done in ink (not just outlined in ink). Two decks that come to mind are the Wild Unknown and Tarot of the Abyss. I own the former but not the latter. It would be cool to see more decks that are done completely in black ink, like the tarot of the abyss. I am honestly not looking to buy more decks but rather wanting to look at different inking styles for inspiration and artistic nourishment. I’m doing an artistic ’depth year’ o…

Hi....I'm here to share my favourite deck. The Fergus Hall Tarot Deck This deck was my first and I loved it. I love the artwork and can't really describe what it reminds me of. All I know is that it speaks to me. It's not a common deck and many folks have never heard nor seen of it. Most Tarot of the Witches decks look very different. I guess this deck appeals to me because I come from a long line of nature witches (non-practicing mostly). Have any of you found a deck that goes with your personality so well it feels wrong to use any other deck? That's how I feel about this one. I've tried others and never felt the pull that his one has over…

I have Nora Huszka’s Gypsy Palace Tarot and love it….it is one of my favorite decks…but I question spending $66 plus change to appease my curiosity….anyone have the deck? hello all, i am looking for help in identifying and finding information on a particular deck, of which i have two examples; the Wheel of Fortune, and what i believe is the Fool. there is an interesting back story to this. i found the first card on the street, in the gutter, in San Francisco: the Wheel of Fortune. two years later, i found the next in the bushes at the park, also in SF: the Fool. i have searched and searched and found no deck that these fit into. for obvious reasons, i am imagining that it may be Latin American in origin, or perhaps Spanish. it has also occurred to me that it may not even be actual tarot in the traditional sense. does anyone know anythin…

This looks like a fascinating deck. According to the creator, it is "tarot is the tradition of feminist sci-fi and queer magic." And here's more info: "The Tarot of Many Doors is a sci-fi themed, queer, anarchist deck. Because this deck is anti-authoritarian, the Queen, King, Knight and Page cards have been replaced with Reader, Speaker, Walker and Reverie, respectively." Looks like the first print run will be quite small! https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5ae0c0242714e5c80f808b22/5ae0c9e903ce6410c5b6a6b4/5af5f780352f537697ddf8de/1526069683027/spread2.jpg?format=1500w https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5ae0c0242714e5c80f808b22/t/5ae177c80e2e72a5565c6ff…
