"Quickies" are two card spreads for when you don't have a lot of time. Here are a few of mine: Gift/Challenge 1. What is the gift in this situation (relationship, etc.)? What is positive about it, what is the good in it? 2. What is the challenge in this situation (relationship, etc.)? What will I have to work on, overcome, or deal with? Now 'n Later 1. What do I need to pay attention to or do now, as soon as possible? 2. What can I put on the back burner until things have settled down (but still will need to deal with sometime in the near future)? Receive/Return 1. What would be beneficial for me to do or get involved in? What should I let in my life? 2. Wh…

May 2026 offers a rare and sacred month-long container for profound personal transformation—a complete journey from depth to vision, from release to renewal. The Scorpio Gateway (May 1-5) This first full moon invites you into the underworld of your own psyche. It asks: What truth have you been avoiding? What needs to be seen, felt, and released? This is shadow work in its most potent form—not as punishment, but as reclamation. When you descend willingly into what’s been hidden or denied, you discover that what you feared holds power you can now integrate. Spiritually, this phase is about emotional alchemy—transforming old wounds into wi…

The following are two solstice spreads, summer and winter. Please note that instead of using the Sun card from the deck in use, you can place a orange/yellow stone, the Sun from another deck or any other symbol if you prefer. Summer Solstice Spread: ~~~~~1~~~~~ 4~~The Sun~~2 ~~~~~3~~~~~ Pull "The Sun" from the deck and place it face up in the center. 1. During the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, more light is available to us. What in my life has been in shadow, that I need to shine a bright light on so I can see it clearly for what it is? 2. The word "solstice" comes from the Latin "sol" (meaning sun) and "sistere" (meaning to cause to stand…

Posting at the suggestion of @Trogon. I do apologise in advance for the bad language. If it's unacceptably offensive I understand if this post needs to be removed! Personally I do think in this case it's actually rather fitting and appropriate to the spread subject, but I'm quite a sweary person and don't offend easily so perhaps I am not the best judge [emoji23] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

The number of unique permutations of a Gypsy spread is thought to be around 1.3048 x 10^31. That is a big number. It is larger than the estimated number of stars in the observable universe. If each permutation was represented by a hydrogen atom, the ball of permutations would be so big that it would extend beyond our solar system. In terms of time, if you were able to draw a spread every second, it would take you longer than the life of the universe to-date to cover every permutation. The number is so big that even if you estimate that there have been 2 billion decks printed (an over estimate). If you then estimate that every deck managed to pull 5…

New Moon Blessings everyone! Here is one of my favorite spreads, that I try to do for every new moon. I found this spread back on AT, first posted by user Milamber. The card layout suggests the phases of the moon: 1 4 2 7 5 3 6 1: Releasing. Things you should be letting go of in your life. 2: Retaining. Things you should be holding close to you. 3: Receiving. Things that are coming into your life. 4: Surroundings. How the world around you is affecting you. 5: Giving. What you should be giving to others. 6: Beginning. Something new that will begin soon. 7: Your lesson. What you should be learning at this point. And quot…

So, I've recently had this thought I decided to incorporate into a spread. I'm sure the idea isn't novel, but I couldn't find examples, so I'll post it here. We draw cards in a row, like this: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 The spread's questions, however, are assigned not to the cards, but in between the cards: 1 Q1 2 Q2 3 Q3 4 Q4 5 Q5 6 Q6 7 We can also lay down the cards in a circular shape, with an extra question between the first and the last card. There were two approaches to reading this spread in my idea, the first being that both the adjacent cards provide an answer to a question (so the answer to Q1 is derived by interpre…

As I'm going to have a trainee at work starting tomorrow, I was going to do a reading with this spread and remembered to post it here. This is to give some insight into the relationship between a trainer and a new trainee. It is designed for situations of 1-on-1 training and focuses primarily on the Trainer and how they should modify their approach for a given trainee. If a Trainee were to come to you for a reading, you could simply swap the Trainer/Trainee in the reading. 1..........3 ......5 2..........4 1) The Trainee's current situation/state of mind (as it applies to the training or job). 2) Obstacles for the Trainee 3) Something the Trainer brings t…

Hi, I came across an interesting inner child spread (@ https://curiousthings.org/therapy-blog/tarot-as-therapy scroll down almost all the way), but it doesn't say, in which order the cards should be drawn. I mailed the author, but didn't yet hear from her yet, so I am asking here. Does it matter in which order the cards are drawn? Or is it simply more important to focus on the meaning of the position (for which the card is drawn)?

Greetings ALL! So this is what happened: A person on this forum asked me the other day to give her an overview of how October is going to look for her. I sat for several hours trying to find a suitable spread, I turned to the books I own ( which together have over 500 spreads) and even tried looking in my Tarot notebook but to no avail! What I am looking for, kind Tarot enthusiasts is to help me find a clear yet detailed spread that will give a future overview. Like in the given example- a spread that will show me what is likely to occur in a person's life in various fields in a given point in the near future. Thanks in advance!

X/ at first it may seem daunting to make your own spread. I actually thought when I started out that we were not supposed to make our own spreads but was supposed to stick to old celtic cross or some other spread already made up. then I saw more spreads being put to use in tarot companions books like the Arthurian tarot by Matthews had some great ones. just doing a search for tarot spreads on amazon see about 10 to 15 books listed.. why create your own spread when there are so many awesome books ? you may not have a spread book with you (though if you download them on kindle I suppose you have supply of spreads if you order every bok ). the spread may not fit th…

Let It Go - A Frozen Spread (4) by Glass Owl / Leviosa Crimson I originally posted this spread on AT. Want to feel one with the wind and sky? Why not give this chilly spread - which was inspired by the song, "Let It Go" from the Disney movie, Frozen - a whirl? To begin your reading, grab a Tarot deck and perhaps a blanket and cup of hot cocoa to stay warm! Search for the Five of Pentacles and once you have discovered it, please place it upright on the table. This card represents you as Elsa, a character from the Disney movie, Frozen. ♬ ♪ The snow glows white on the mountain tonight, not a footprint to be seen. I like to do this spread right after i do my "Spread of the Month" , As that spread will show how things are here in this existence, let's say this way, This spread will show how things are going "up there" or how we are with our spiritual path; 1 - How Gods are helping me 2 - How Gods are testing me 3 - Obstacles that gods put in my way 4 - Lesson to be learned 5 - What the God…

This also can be used very effectively for a "yes/no or do/dont do" option as i will show now : 1 - Do ( Or option 1) 2 - Don't do ( Or option 2 ) 3 - Emotional in case you do ( Emotional for option 1) 4 - Emocional in case you don't do (Emotional for option 2) 5 - Finances in case you do…
