Most of you know that I'm not a fan of 3-card readings since I think they take too narrow a slice of the deck and tell too shallow a story. If I use them, I prefer to extract the cards from a larger population of drawn cards using some kind of a "pointer." In this case I'm relying on the nominal "facing" of the figures or landscape features on the cards in each of three positions to determine which of them to read in the columns. (This is what used to be called a "Chinese menu" approach ["I'll have one from Column A, one from Column B and one from Column C"], but I imagine that is now politically incorrect.) The first two cards use rightward orientation to pr…

Although I find horary astrology much more effective than tarot for locating misplaced objects or missing people, there is something to be said for using the elemental properties of the minor and court cards as pointers for where to look for the subject of a reading. I built this spread around the suggestions of astrologer John Frawley in his book The Horary Textbook, which I adapted for use with the cards. Although the guidance doesn’t mention it, reversals can be used with this spread to imply the degree of visibility of the subject in its physical location.

Hi all! I hope this is the right place for me to post this. I'm looking for a work/career spread to use for a friend of mine. She wants to know if she 'has' to make a career switch and if so, what would be a good career for her. Most spreads I find online are general career spreads and I would like to get a bit more in depth with it. Hope you wonderful peeps can help me out!

Hey guys! I'm most positive that there's a spread out there very similar to this one, but I created a spread that seems to work very well for me on forecasting the week ahead in a bit more detail with less cards! A quick rundown in text as well! 1. Overall Theme - This is what the overall theme of the week will be! 2. What to Do - This is what you should do over the course of that week, whether it be a physical activity, or mental prep, what have you! 3. Insight/Advice - This will act as a clarification for card #2, giving you some insight as to why you must do this, what to look out for, or advice on how to do it! 4. What NOT to Do - This is what you should…

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone out there had some good spreads to do while in quarantine/social distancing/isolation? Daily draws and self-check-in spreads are great, but I was also wondering about spreads specifically devoted to questions that could be asked while inside and socially isolated? If you have your favourite self-introspective spread that would be wonderful to see!

I've never much liked the one-card daily draw because it implies that a single type of activity will prevail for an entire 24-hour period. For me, it fails to portray the opportunity for "change-over-time" unless we "intuit" it from the card's inherent nature. I've been seeking a model that can show shifts in the querent's "energy pattern" that may occur over the span of a day. Here is a link to my latest effort: https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2020/03/05/the-diurnal-footprint-daily-draw-spread/

These were created (by me) with the intention of following the cycle and the energies of the moon, but every spread can be used on its own - as a tool for personal exploration and development (and you can certainly also use them in readings for others). There is a theme for each spread, so I hope you’ll find something that suits your needs and wants! Enjoy! Invite Your Shadow To Tea **********7(T) *****9(T)******8(T) 1(B)*****3(M)*****2(T) *****6(B)******5(B) **********4(B) 1. The Invited Shadow - this card can be self chosen or you can take from the base of the deck and let the cards decide. This card will tell you a bit about what you need to deal with. 2. The Querent - this card can also be self chosen or you can take from the top of the deck and let the cards decide. This card will show where you are right now. 3. I came across this Full Moon Spread by the ITF. I really like this one so wanted to share here. Usually I tend to work with my Spirit de la Lune oracle for the Full Moon, which has a spread for each full moon throughout the year in the accompanying book. But I like this spread that can be used at any full moon. 5 cards, laid out in a circle. Picture is attached. Card 1: What do I need to release from my life? Card 2: Guidance to help achieve this Card 3: What do I need to embrace to empower me Card 4: How can I enable my transformation Card 5: What can I achieve/manifest with this energy?

This is how I decided to tackle the subject of the reliability of long-range forecasts. At this point there is no reason to believe it will work any better than just "winging it," but at least it has an intelligible structure. https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2020/03/11/the-time-passages-long-range-life-reading-spread-parts-one-and-two/

really like the idea of laying tarot cards on top of 'positional significance' cards to make on the fly custom spreads, as in the deck of 1000 spreads (now OOP and fetching silly prices). of course we can just write on blank cards to get the same or better utility : ) brainstorming ideas for cards, here what i have so far: self experiences expectations root feelings others environment resources action reaction result challenges allies present esteem fate disposition education pro con advice partner reward surprise answer danger relationship conscious desires unconscious desires attitude intentions fears decision intuition lesson potential risk success things overlooked…

In her video she encourages people to try these spreads for themselves and she generously shares the spread positions on her etsy page. Her channel is great so do check it out! The first spread is for those who are embarking on a depth year for the very first time while the second year is for those that are doing a second (or third...) depth year. I've never tackled past-life reading with the tarot (although I've done a little prenatal epoch work with astrology and have conducted some spirit-world exploration with the tarot). This spread is largely deterministic in that it revolves around the discharge of karmic debt, something which New-Age-ism seems to shy away from. It gave me a very interesting self-reading. https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2019/08/21/mirror-of-the-soul-karmic-message-spread/

Hey All So.. up until recently I used to do an on the spot spreads- which worked nicely. Lately I stumbled on Vincent Pitisci's CC variation -which I loved a lot and started using regularly He claims it can answer EVERY question- but I found it difficult answering specific questions: Like what are my strengths/ potential in a specific situation matter. I don't want a 3 card spread I am looking for a more in depth / diverse spread to fit multiple situations. Hope I made myself clear 😛

In my view, tarot is not about 'predicting' something in the full sense of the word as much as disclosing future tendencies. But the question is... how far in the future? Let us exclude certain spreads, which, f.e, are specified for 3 or for 6 months. My question is mainly concerned with spreads based on the Celtic Cross or the three cards (past, present, future).

A close relative is married to someone with a truly bad case of NPD, probably with sociopathy involved. Recently, a hard limit was reached, and I need to find a solution on how to keep the venom that that person exudes AWAY from me and my family, AND remain in contact with the close relative. (Preferably, I’d just meet up with the relative, and go total no contact with the NPD partner — but as it tends to be with families and people involved, this problem is a lot more complex than that!) So, I’m looking for a solution-oriented spread that can deal with ”a situation filled with complicated obstacles,” and find a way over under through…
