Have the person you are reading for focus intently on a very specific goal/desire that they'd like to manifest, while shuffling. I. What you must master to achieve your goal/desire. II. What you must release to reach it. III. The energy you need to align with in order to attain it. IV. How the universe is helping you. V. When you will achieve this goal/desire. I, II, & III are laid linearly across the top of the spread, IV is laid vertically under II, V is crossed horizontally over IV.

I asked if they would fall in love with me. I got the following: The Lovers, Six of Pentacles, Nine of Pentacles then I asked again hours later and got Ten of Cups, six of Wands, 9 of Cups. I'd take this as a yes, what do you think?

I don't know how long I've been using this spread, but it's been helpful in figuring out whatever I have a question about (the subject). Basically, - The Subject (on top, by itself), which is what the rest of the cards will be answering. - The Advice, (three cards in the middle), where each card elaborates further on what to do regarding the subject in question (this is also a great way to mix another deck in). - The Outcome, which is the bottom card, which is what happens if you take the advice cards regarding the subject. It doesn't mean it will happen - it is what will happen if the advice is followed. I actually don't know…

1 2 3 4 5 -> surface layer 6+a -> bridge to the surface b -> the self 7+c -> bridge to the abyss 8 9 10 11 12 -> abyssal layer [1-12 = cards placed facing up] [a-c = cards placed facing down] [+ = cards are stacked on top of each other] Surface Layer - the perceivable, "objective" world and how it is influenced by the other layers of the spread. Made to show a big picture view with no time axis - can be seen either as the perceived present OR as the constant state of being of this cycle of your journey. Bridge to the Surface - outward …

My intuition was always strong and I feel like it's really developed a lot in the last couple of years. However, I have some issues like OCD where I get very obsessive about things (especially negative) and tend to ruminate when something triggers me. This is messing with my intuition, because sometimes I can't differentiate if my OCD is acting up or if I'm legitimately picking up a vibe that someone isn't well intentioned towards me. For example, I met up with this woman a couple of times. We both live in a foreign country so we have a few things in common. It was always polite, and nothing bad was said. But something always felt OFF. She had a strange v…

The Buck Moon July 23, 2021, Friday The cards are placed sort of like the antlers of a buck. Deer are and have been hunted for their meat, buckskin clothing, and their antlers have been used in the making of knives. They are graceful and even a little spooky when you get close to them. They know how to fend for themselves. Here is a spread inspired by the majestic deer and the Buck Moon. I hope this spread works well for you all! Enjoy! --5-- --6-- --3-- --4-- --1-- --2-- 1&2. What sustains you? 3&4. What shelters/protects you? 5. How have you carved a life out for yourself? 6. How …

Every time we pass through an event like this I bump up a little too late in finding a spread and then I end up scrambling. I'm still doing a reading but I was wondering, for next time, if anyone has any favourite solar eclipse spreads they've found or made that they'd like to share? The big, chaotic, intense energy has been hitting me all week so I'd love to make some sense of it for next time with the cards

Does anyone have recommendations for a good/meaningful/powerful spread to do on their birthday? Tarot/oracle/both. I know you can do year ahead ones but when the birthday is end of November and the actual new year is only a month away, it would be nice to have something a bit different. Does anyone have a go to they do every year?

So, I've recently had this thought I decided to incorporate into a spread. I'm sure the idea isn't novel, but I couldn't find examples, so I'll post it here. We draw cards in a row, like this: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 The spread's questions, however, are assigned not to the cards, but in between the cards: 1 Q1 2 Q2 3 Q3 4 Q4 5 Q5 6 Q6 7 We can also lay down the cards in a circular shape, with an extra question between the first and the last card. There were two approaches to reading this spread in my idea, the first being that both the adjacent cards provide an answer to a question (so the answer to Q1 is derived by interpre…

Hey! I was thinking to start doing past life readings for a while- as ways to deal/understand the events of one's current cycle- would love some ideas to spreads/ insights as to how to do this!

Does anyone know if anything is wrong with Ethony? Like previous years, I requested the free Tarot by the Moon book this year (although a bit late). I unsubscribed from her newsletter last year, because aaaalllll the newsletters - not just hers - tend to get a bit much. But I didn't receive a confirmation email, no email with link to download, etc. Tried with another email address; still nothing. (Checked my spam folders too, of course 😉 ) I've tried using the form on her website to contact her, asked if she could help; this was about a week ago, and still no reply. Did anyone here manage to download this year…

I am new here so I hope this is the right forum to post this in. On New Year's Eve I wanted to do a spread to map out the energies of the upcoming year. Could anyone suggest their favorite new year spreads? I would love to see all of the different ones you all know and come up with!

My wonder/wander -ings have led me to concepts about the degrees of the zodiac in astrology and the various degree symbol sets. That brought us online articles about the Galactic Center being at 27? Sagittarius, so I am hoping to find a spread that would complement these themes. https://consciousreminder.com/2020/11/30/december-astrology-by-dates-ready-for-a-power-packed-end-of-the-year/ http://astrologyclub.org/the-galactic-center-in-your-astrology-chart-by-house/

First card, how the beloved is doing in the spirit realm. Second card, your current well-being in the earth realm. Third card, the message they are delivering and how to apply it in your life.

How do you guys feel about yes/no-spreads? I know it's best to ask open questions (what do I need to know, what does... mean, how can I ...) but I've been thinking about signing up for an event. I'm really curious to participate, but on the other hand I don't know if I'm ready to yet. How would you formulate the question? Somebody have a spread that could work?

Hi all, I'm currently immersing myself in the Thomson Leng, and I want to share the spreads ITT. It's my hope that some of you try them out here - use any deck you like. And bear in mind that I'm no expert with this deck yet, I just got it yesterday and it's very different from what I'm used to in some ways. But they're good ways. It occurs to me that, since the deck was published in 1935 in the UK, people would have had it in the house during the Blitz. I think some people would have consulted it to see if their homes would be safe, and if their men would return alive. When we're worried and we have no way of knowing something, we turn to cards. So it's an important…

I pulled three cards from each deck: First was the Bianco Nero Deck for Shadow Work Second was the Morgan-Greer Deck for my Physical World Third was the Aquarian Tarot for my Spirit I have had a lot of trouble finding much on the subject of multi deck spreads; So does anyone know of any books? Or is this already a thread about this and I completely overlooked it? I make my own spreads most of the time, I have a book of spreads- but I think using more decks is more specific, sometimes I get multiples of the same card from multiple decks and that wouldn't be so if I had only used one deck; I also usually do big-ish spreads though, such as 9-32 c…

I often see people asking for dream-analysis spreads but never created one specifically for that purpose. Here is a link to one that I adapted from one of my past-life spreads. It uses techniques that some consider controversial: numerical "mirroring" and the "quint" card. https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2020/06/07/the-morpheus-effect-dream-message-spread/

I actually have three questions about spreads I would like to pose for the forum over the next three days, so stay tuned. There are those in life who walk among us, I or you may meet who "think they know it all" or are visibly unconscious souls. Obviously thinking their way is the only way, never open to learning something new, when they encounter something they don't know, instead of taking the time to ask a question, do some research, they make up their own mind to stay ignorant. Or here's the great one, they assume something about you, it's all wrong, you correct them, and they get angry with you. I love that one. Their mind is closed and not ever open to t…

When I run out of meatier subjects to explore in my blog posts, I fall back on spread creation. Lately I've been taken with what I call "mixed-media" spreads using cards and another method of divination (mainly as a "pointer" for card selection). It's an entirely unnecessary iteration, to be sure, but it's fun to tinker with. https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2020/06/28/walking-the-line-a-situational-awareness-response-spread/

Someone online gave me the notion that a three-card line resembles the three windows of an old-time slot machine that roll up randomly when you pull the lever. I decided to make a spread that emulates it, using three stacks of six cards and a single six-sided die. Deal 18 cards any way you choose into three equal piles, roll the die for each pile and, counting down from the top, find the card that matches the number of spots that came up. Form the line and read it the same way you would any three-card sequence.

I came up with this spread based on a seasonal reflection writing workshop I took last week. I can’t take any credit for the idea, because I just put together some of the writing prompt questions given to us by the workshop leader, Randon Billings Noble, and turned them into a tarot spread. I found these questions so powerful to reflect on and write about, and I think they will work well in the context of a tarot reading as well. I see this as a spread to really reflect on a moment in your life and to be present in what is there. To see the present moment in your life and to care for it as you would a flower. Feedback welcome! Season of…

Hi, guys! I made a spread for myself tonight and figured I would share it here. Anyone is free to use it / adapt as they wish! Dealing with and healing from trauma: 1 - What do I need to in order to heal from this pain? 2 What can help me in this healing process? 3. What can hurt me in this healing process? 4. What is my goal? 5. What is the outcome? And here's my spread reading, as the example: 1 - What do I need to in order to heal from this pain? The World: You need to as always, get out of your own head and see your place in the bigger picture; remember that you never know where these paths will take …

Does anyone remember making PIN charts when they were younger? No? Just me? Well let me explain what they're about... You'll probably have heard of a pro's and con's list, well, a PIN chart takes that a step further. Instead of writing only the good and bad things about a situation, you write down all the Positive, Negative, and Interesting things about it. Hense, PIN. The Interesting things are all those things that are neither positive nor negative, they're just... Interesting. This spread came about when we were looking at buying a new house and both my husband and myself were finding it difficult to look at things objectively. Did we really wan…

Joanna Colbert, creator of the Gaian Tarot and the Herbcrafter's Tarot, posted this spread on Instagram and I thought it was really lovely and wanted to share it. She mentions she was inspired to create this spread by an essay by Arundhati Roy. A Tarot Spread for the Pandemic Portal Time :: 1. What do I most need to know about this collective moment — this “portal”? :: :: 2. What can I do to contribute to the wholeness and health of the collective? :: :: 3. How can I strengthen my own resilience? :: :: 4. What am I not seeing? (Pull a card from the bottom of the deck.) :: :: 5. What does Spirit most want me to know about my personal path at…
