Technical Forum Assistance

I don't know if it's something I did or not, but I'm on the laptop and everything looks the way it does on the phone. That's fine for the phone, but here it's HUGE and the left hand buttons are missing, I have to use the dropdowns on the right. Is there a way to get it back to a desktop view? Thanks in advance.

Just woke up this morning (28 February, 2023) to 46 pieces of spam in my personal email in-box, purportedly from Tarot Tea & Me, all of which have the title of a particular set of tarot cards and are from a 'no reply' site. I have opened none of them and reported them all as spam to my email provider and blocked the domain. However, when I came onto this site, I found 46 notifications in my on-site notification box as well. It all seems to have happened 12-15 hours ago? I'm on UK time. I have opened none of them, but I'm concerned that somehow my email address, which you have on record for me, has been hacked by spammers. Not happy, but can you do something abo…

Forgive me if this was asked and I missed it... Is it possible to give a gift subscription? (There was also a nice thread on AT where people could request a gift subscription. Not that we need to incorporate everything from AT; I just liked that aspect.)

I realise the upgrade has borked things - but when you have a minute - the deck library is now fairly useless; it isn't possible any more to get a simple list of the decks in it, and trying to find one through the images/albums simply doesn't work. If you are looking for a deck you don't know well, you aren't going to locate it by an image, and trying to work out which album it should be in - again, you have to know the deck to find it that way - and in the case I just tried - I can't work out which album it would be in if it were there. Please tell me there is a way to get the simple lists back.

I am trying to feedback Em's 4 pillars reading When I click on Quote, the quoted parts is about five screens wide. Any ideas on a fix? It does it also when I quick reply on any thread, I could type four pages into one long string. I've learned to just enter when I have 15 or 20 words and drop down to the next line. I'm thinking I could copy and paste for feedback? anyway, just wondering what is up with my view Sharyn

I was just checking something in my profile, and had to re-enter my password. Fair enough. And then I hit this: I'm all for security, but I hope there is another way to do this. My only smart phone is extremely basic and almost certainly doesn't have the space for the authenticator app - never mind that I don't install anything google related if I can avoid it. The two apps I have on there are painfully slow, and not reliable. More to the point - that phone has no signal in my home. Hello, I tried to sign up but am not sure the website is functioning properly. I tried 2 times and still cannot login. I did not receive any sort of confirmation email either. Do I need to wait for an approval on the backend? I’m not sure what to do. Thank you!

I was reading in the who's online section to see if it works like the one on the old atf. so i was scrolling down and said to myself ohhh nice 3 guests creating accounts.. hmm a guest is reporting a post to a moderator,,gee i wonder if that can be harassing , (aka some guest tries to report every post , or a members every post ) well i guess the little fang group can handle that.. then i saw this Guest 07:31:45 PM Sending email to another member. how can a guest send an email without logging in ?

I’m trying to search older discussions on various topics and am having a hard time restricting searches. Everything I type seems to be searched as keywords linked by OR. I have tried using quotes to search for a phrase, linking terms with AND, going to “more search options” and selecting “find results that contain all of my search terms” and I still get the same results. This happens on my iPhone, my tablet, and my desktop; I’m using Chrome on all of them and the tablet & desktop are windows. Tablet is running IPS theme as is my phone; not sure about desktop.

I was wondering where the proper location to inquire for help about tarot deck identification. There are several pictures of individual cards that I have found online but I have no idea what deck they belong to. Is there a thread on here for something like that, or where should I create one? Each time l log in l get an email from TTM saying there may be a problem if not ignore it, l mentioned this before and l was told it was a not a fault with the forum. Any ideas as to why this is happening and what l can do.

I tried the "forgot password" but it did not send me a reset password link. I thought I might try creating a new account, but when I input my username, it told me that it was already in use, which gives me hope that my account still exists. I've had to log in with a different browser. When I try to log in with my Chrome, I can't because I keep getting this message: Your session timed out while posting. Please go back and try again. When I try to do that, it tells me that I have to wait 30 seconds because I've tried too many times. I'm logged in here with Firefox, but would like to log back in with my Chrome. What am I doing wrong? How can I fix this? Thank you so much! <3

Could I get some clarification on helping new members? Sometimes people are advised to offer their own interpretation, and sometimes are provided with detailed interpretation even though having attempted little of their own. I seem to get it wrong quite a lot, and either feel unkind for not offering more to a new member, or break the 'no free readings' rule and the thread gets locked. What am I looking for here?

Hi, @Little Fang! A comment I posted on this forum seems to be "hidden," and I'm not sure what I did to make that happen.

I would love to have a way not to see all of the "game" posts in the "Activity" window since I have no interest in tarot games. I tried to follow the instructions Daniel gave previously but couldn't figure it out. I understand we don't have as robust a way to do it as we did on Aeclectic.

And I don't see "quote selection" or something to that effect, any longer. I'm signed in and have tried to get this to work last several days now. OTHER people seem able to get this to work? I just have to work w the entire quote and go fm there. Anything changed or am I just losing it lol?
