Hello from Singapore

Hi all! Got back into tarot after a hiatus of 15 years, and this time, I'm learning the card meanings card by card, one card a day, instead of referring to books everytime I do a reading for the meanings like last time. Restarted with a new tarot deck too, bought the US Games 100% Plastic RWS deck, for its durability.

 

Being a fan of Cardcaptor Sakura, I really wanted to keep my tarot deck in a "storage book" like the Clow Book for Clow Cards.

So, I bought a "book box" off Amazon, and made an insert tray perfectly sized for the tarot deck, with a lift ribbon to retrieve the cards easily.

I can put it inconspicuously on the shelf like a regular book too.

 

 

 

And a "family photo" with my Clow/Sakura book collection.

You have good taste there that is for sure.

 

You cannot go wrong with plastic cards - they are just simply the BEST!  The Clow looks truly stunning.

 

Anyways, hope you settle in with ease. There are some great members on here and Moderators that will gently guide you if you aren't too sure or happen to post in the wrong place etc.

Plastic cards ... how the tarot world have improved during my hiatus 😄 these cards should last me my lifetime 😃

Thank you @Rupicapra. The Clow Cards are from the Japanese anime/manga Cardcaptor Sakura. You can search for them on Youtube too!

Thank you @HOLMES. No Questions Asked by Theresa Reed, one of the few books (I guess) that tells you to throw the tarot guidebooks/manuals to one side as soon as possible and teach you how to use your intuition during readings instead.
